I'm lucky to have Almar in my Dumbo neighborhood. Last night I had the Roasted Spanish Mackerel with Grape Tomato, Olives & Sauteed Spinach. It could not have been more perfect. Just perfectly prepared, mediterranean style. It was a large enough portion that I just had my leftovers for lunch. As good as the night before. Always the best. Everything is always cooked perfectly and love the service. Good for dates, family, friends. You name it. They also play old Italian movies on the back wall. Gives the place a cool vibe.
