Anella is a wonderful spot in Greenpoint!! They were great to work with to plan a large group (about 30 people) dinner in the garden. Aaron was super helpful over email and on the phone while planning. The food was delicious (as always) and the service during the night was awesome - super attentive / friendly. I highly recommend for brunch or dinner, but can now also confidently recommend for a special event.
Exceptional pasta… fresh… sauce was delicate and tasty. Slider … cooked to perfection … drink prepared perfectlyAnd finally the service met the perfection of the food.Ambiance not overpowering. Outside garden is a real pearl in the neighborhood.

Anella used to be one of my favorite places in all of NYC! But they got a new chef and now the menu, along with the prices, have changed. Their food was so great that I’d honestly be open to paying more, but not when the food isn’t as good. Bring back some of the favorite pastas from the dinner menu and the chicken biscuit!
