The family who works here are SO nice, and all of their food is absolutely delicious. I’ve eaten all around Manhattan & BK and Avlee hands down has the BEST grilled whole Branzino. Paired with their delicious side salad, it’s my husband and I’s favorite healthy affordable weeknight dinner. Eyes closed, the food is so good you'll think you're in a memorable taverna. Eyes open, it's a well-managed Greek take out spot with friendly, professional service, decent decor and casual ambiance. Highly recommended for the whole branzino, dips and salads.

The gyro here is amazing the best I've had in NYC. It's my 3rd time having gyros at this establishment. I'm always very pleased. I have some dietary restrictions and they are so polite and accommodated to my needs.... make sure you ask for some lemon oil on the side.... Thank you guys ! I must try some other dishes on there menu!
