“I have been here a few times, food is great drinks are priced nicely. I brought my sister and her husband from St. Louis there when they were visiting about a week ago. They were amazed by how hard working the owner of this bar was. I have worked as a bartender for years and I could tell this owner is doing the absolute best he can with all off the curve balls Covid has thrown at him. Covid has been rough for all bar owners but NYC has been hit really really hard. The night we went the owner was there training a brand new bartender and still serving everyone at the packed bar. Everyone trying to get drinks before the 11:00 closing time, per usual complaining that the bartender was new, that nothing was fast enough for them. Also complaining about covid rules that no one can control. Again, as bartender I could see how maxed out the owner was and how hard him and the new bartender were working. People will be impatient and complain about anything, especially now (which is the WORST) God I hate that. This place will definitely continue to get my business again and I will take all of my friends there anytime I can.“

The Food is fantastic and the mixed drinks they know how to pour them in Brooklyn. They offer fantastic meals especially there Thanksgiving meals you can pick up. My girlfriend had major surgery about 2 weeks ago. It was not possible for us to cook a Thanksgiving meal. WE ordered 2 Thanksgiving meals and the portions were amazing and a value we could not find anywhere else. The Turkey Dinners we purchased and the joy we had sharing Thanksgiving together with our dinners from Bean Post made it a Wonderful Holiday.
