Hello fellow restauranteur, this review is about to dive into the reasons I have to believe that Colonia Verde is a caliber above all else. Yes, that’s right. Bold statement alert: best restaurant in Brooklyn? I think yes. Slay-standing service, molecular energy, rustic atmosphere (vibe) inviting romance, all traits they have, yet aren’t what’s important here. Blood Mary, maybe because I ordered non-alcoholic, I felt like I was drinking sauce.The duck is very soft and goes perfectly with the cornflakes underneath. , the sauce is also quite delicious.The dessert was served before I finished the last dish. By the time I finished, the dessert had melted.The waiter couldn't see me at all. I sat outside and no one came over after I finished eating. In the end, I asked the staff to move things.

Shrimp tacos! They were a lot larger than we expected but so glad there was more to share. Shrimp perfectly cooked and tender, melt in your mouth. Perfect savory, pureed black bean sauce and fresh avocado. We also got the breakfast arepa which I thought was ok, but my partner really liked it.
