I did like this place. The interior has a cool, almost grungy feel to it which I loved. I will say the fish wasn’t as fresh as other sushi restaurants I have been to in New York and although the sushi was well made there were some dishes that felt like they had been rushed. The edamame for example tasted soft, microwaved. However, the price was so reasonable that I could forgive some of small criticisms. Geido is simply a treasure. The atmosphere is incredibly homey and non-pretentious. I love the graffiti walls. The sushi melts in your mouth. Highly highly recommend and will always come here when I’m in the

Lovely place to have a date or a small group outing or to eat out with kids, very friendly atmosphere with generous portions and quality for a fair price point.Order the plum wine! Usually it is too sweet for me but this one was perfectly mild and paired well with everything we ordered.
