This Kosher deli has shut down permanently. The owners stated in an inteview with a local newspaper that they were unable to keep business running because they had been losing money ($4,500.00 a month for at least the last couple of years.
I am a 55 African American Brooklynite born and bred. I pride myself on tasting and eating the various ethnic cuisines of this great borough. I could not believe how delicious the matzo ball soup, and the pastrami was. I have tried matzo ball soup and pastrami all over Brooklyn and Manhattan. Jay and Lloyd's is in the top 3.

We like a lot eating out. Last night we came to this fine place which we didn’t know before. We had a delightful evening there with great dishes and an experienced crew and a talented cook. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we shall certainly return soon. We warmly recommend.
