Came here for the first time as I'd heard good reviews, and they were right! Staff here are lovely and the fried chicken and waffles were to die for- especially the blueberry preserves! The banana cream pie was recommended to me by the staff, and it was truly delicious. Will definitely be back next time I'm in NY.
A solid brunch spot serving up some classic fried chicken and your favourite pies. It’s definitely not the best spot for soul food, I was a little disappointed by the lack of flavour and detail. Overall it’s worth coming to but you could go further a field for that truly special diner.? The best part was the Pecan Doughnut. Great glaze and the pecan flavour was one of the best I’ve had. STILL AMAZING.I came here like 10 years ago and have always wanted to return. I'm so happy they are still open.The BEST biscuits and gravy but be warned that you will need a nap. We also tried a nut/toffee crunch donut that has ruined all other donuts for me.Our server was super helpful but didn't overbear. It was the best breakfast experience we had on our trip :)
