Been in and out of Brennan's for years. Either a quick drink, drink all night, or full on dinner. The usually have pretty good quality food, hardy Irish American style. Meals feel legit and are refined, not cheap thrown together bar food. Had the fish fry the other day, it was honestly maybe the best I've ever had. Couple factors made it great. Update- eat in experience. Lunch, craving a Reuben so here we landed. Greated and sat quickly on a blustery Saturday. Dining was packed, even saw a banquet of red hat society ladies. My party of 3 opted on a shared appetizer of hot pepper dip, a couple of Rubens and a roast beef sandwich. Guys....the stuffed hot pepper dip was a cup of hot pepper soup with melted cheese on top!!! Been here numerous times over the years, both for after work happy hours and dinner with friends. It's always been a comfortable place to hang out. Though I've had many items on their menu, my favorite is the chicken and stuffed pepper sandwich. It's served on crunchy garlic bread. The grilled chicken and spicy stuffed pepper are a perfect match. 2022-11
