We went here for lunch one day and decided to try what they’re famous for, so we tried the medium wings, beef on weck and french onion soup.The wings were good, they were crispy and the sauce was your typical Franks based sauce. The beef or weck was ok, the meat seemed a little dry and it didn’t come with any au jus, but it was fine. Always a good time at Gabriel's Gate. The wings are excellent but I almost always get "The Arlington" chicken sandwich: It's simple, delicious, and always consistent. The fries are great and they have a solid beer selection too.

Great food. Philly was so flavorful and super hearty. Cool atmosphere with original fireplace, Indian sculptures. Just feels good! Negatives: generic beer and wine menu. No local options. Why? Also the 'host' who sat us was just rude/surly. No reason for that??
