Amazing! Very authentic! We've been here over 10 times. All of the people we brought loved it, all of our kids loved it as well. Nice place for a date.Parking: Small lot, we always get a spot though. Thursday night buffet so they're busy.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, plenty of seating.
Really good food. We had vegetarian saag and mater paneer. Very crispy naan, not doughy or cold. Serivce was extraordinary. We offered a booth right away and got complimentary orders of lentil soup. We will come back for the buffet next which is Thursday dinner and Fri/Sat lunch. The atmosphere is fair. I like how no frills it is compared to other indian restaurants which can be tacky or obnoxious with music and a TV but it is a regular dining experience. I have been to New Jewel of India several times and keep coming back for the delicious food, soothing dining atmosphere with music that transports me to the "subcontinent land of spices" , and gracious staff. The sizzling plate of chicken tandoori prepared with caramelized onions and peppers is DELICIOUS !. My favorite go-to is the Makhani , and the vegetable Biryani.
