“Just had lunch from A Wing Away Kitchen. The food was excellent, wings cooked perfectly, sauces were incredible. The best part was the staff! The owner gave us a taste of his chicken and rice (absolutely incredible!) and his “not spicys” sauce was better than spicys ever was! If you haven’t checked it out you should have dinner there tonight.”

“We went here for their peach ice cream & cake. It was a bit too sugary for my taste. The serving size was pretty large. They have a bench/table under the tree for you to enjoy the treat. There's also a small farm shop beside the ice cream stand. The service was also quick.”

The owner is a true gentleman, a hard worker who puts his heart and soul into the business and it truly shows. As of recently they have a new counter girl who answers the phone as well and she is so nice! We love it here. Keep up the good work!”

“You can't get better food for the price. They also have authentic German beer on tap. This is one of the few places where I will eat a steak because they cook them just as good if not better than me. I have a customer near the restaurant and eating here makes putting up with the traffic bearable.”

“A family friend works for the calverton store..so we decided to try a mixed bag about 8 or so cookies...I myself had the oatmeal raisin and PB cream ..of the 2 the PB cream was by far one of the best cookies I have ever eaten. Gobs of PB morsals and the center..my favorite....an explosion of a rich peanut butter cream......If you're a PB fan that is a must try.Oatmeal raisin was good also. However no match to other.Definitely a treat for the family. Would highly recommend.”

“My experience at johnny rockets was positive. I could tell that the cashiers were trying their hardest even with the long lines and the uncomfortable temperature. The food there was decent and is what i expected from a water park. The cashiers were very helpful and worked hard to accommodate my large order for 11 people.”

“Hands-down this is the best place for ice cream on the North Fork. During the summer, there are lines down the street to get into this place , so off-season it's a breeze to get the best ice cream or soft serve. Staff are very friendly and I highly recommend this place all year round! Gave it 4 stars bc it lacks ambience (yet you will not care!!). The homemade pistachio ice cream is something you must try . And it is right next door to Funchos, another great local place to frequent.”

“Absolutely loved their baked goods here especially the apple cider donuts. Prices for the baked goods are very good. My family had multiple allergies and I’m glad this place is able to make delicious treats that are allergy friendly.”

“I arrived just after they closed, but they offered to make me a sandwich anyway, I picked the tuna lettus and tomato, asked me if I wanted macaroni or coleslaw since I was driving and honestly am not a fan of either, they let me get a bag of cheetos. the made the sandwich and the Tuna sandwich was amazing! now stop for just a minute and think back the entirety of your life, have you ever heard the phrase the tuna sandwich was amazing? probably not, but this one was great. maybe because it was amazing or maybe i was really hungry, but I think it was both. it was a really good sandwich. the people were nice, and the place had an enjoyable atmosphere, I'll be back for a $100 burger. they aren't $100 it's a pilot's expression. but I will be back.”

“Had a great time, love the restaurant, but the grilled chicken was over cooked this time, required a steak knife to cut through, it is usually tender, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. With that said, a great restaurant, highly recommend it!”

“Absolutely phenomenal. Love the outdoor area (and saw kids with parents there loving it too!) as well as the inside of the shop. It's cozy and perfect. Staff was very nice even though I had trouble deciding between the amazing pastries and quiches. Went to heaven when we got home. The raspberry coffee cake was absolutely the best thing I've ever had. Cant wait to go back.”

One of the few restaurants we’ve been to that don’t add a credit card fee to your check so we will be back! I gave it a 4 star for atmosphere only because I am not a fan of ultra contemporary decor because it lacks warmth and coziness and I remember that feeling of the ‘ol 2 x 4 restaurant from years past.”

“My sister wanted to try JC’s restaurant after getting recommended by it by a coworker at first we were skeptical because of the area it was in but it turned out really good. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I got the steamed clams with garlic butter, jalapeños, celery and onion with some bread (you could add spaghetti to it) it was honestly the best steamed clams I ever had I would definitely get it again. My sister got a burger medium with a side of Mac and cheese the burger was really good, not too greasy really tasty cooked medium. We got dessert too, we got banana cheese cake and churros. The banana cake was okay it tasted like cheese cake more than it did banana. The churros was so good it was crispy but not crunchy and hard it was just the perfect amount of cinnamon not over powering just right with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream it made the dessert prefect and is the best churros I’ve ever had coming from a person who always get churros as dessert wherever I go. Price wise it’s fair the match the food. And is definitely worth it. Custom service was really nice and attentive. All in all I would 100% recommend this place!”

“Fantastic Polish Deli and grocery run by some really nice people. They have a big selection of kielbasa and their prepared dishes are delicious. Their stuffed cabbage was fantastic with so much flavor. The pigs knuckle was also extremely good if you're into that. There was also a large pastry section that I'm going back to check out.”
