Wherever I go to a new city, I love to try the Indian food. Albany, this is a gem! I have never had better Indian food anywhere in the country. The complexities of flavors and textures and temperatures that make Indian food spectacular are all here. I had a sweet lassi, vegetable samosas, naan and Navratan Korma. Flawless.

We always order bullet naan and garlic naan with paneer tikka masala. These are best I have had so far in the USA. Today we also tasted the Rice pudding (Badam kheer). I highly recommend this sweet.

DO NOT GET FOOD FROM HERE ! This place is a rip-off and absolute scam . I ordered 3 items ( 6 GARLIC NAN , 1 SAAG PANEER and 1 CHICKEN VINDALOO) . They charged me $ 15 for SAAG PANEER and $17 for CHICKEN VINDALOO and it came on those tiny containers. The saag paneer barely had 5 pieces of small cubes of paneer on it and same for the chicken . No taste at all . It's just filled with red chilli powder . The Naan tasted like the frozen garlic naan that I buy from store and heat up in micro wave . It wasn't made like it is made the right way in other indian restaurants. Absolutely Disgusting !!

Great place for Indian food lovers.Variety of North Indian great foods. ?
I wish there is a option to give zero stars. Please don’t order carry out. They don’t follow the instructions and give you bland food. Cannot be trusted!

I drove 30 mins to get to the restaurant to pickup the food. Carry out cannot be trusted. Ordered Spicy and they gave it bland. Called the restaurant and they said to bring the food back.Very stupid decision to go there. Disappointed! Please be extra careful.
Good indian food at good price. I really enjoyed the dal makhani and Pudina parantha.

I recently had my first visit to this Indian restaurant, and it was an absolute delight. The curry goat was exceptional, bursting with rich flavors that left a lasting impression. The drinks were fabulous, adding a perfect complement to the already fantastic dining experience. Every dish I tried was incredibly flavorful, making this restaurant a definite 5-star gem.

If you want the real authentic Indian food and culture experience this is the only place to go. They have been around for a long time and have it down. Reasonable prices and great food. The entire Indian experience in the capital district.
