“These are not only the nicest people who I see everytime we order but also great cooks. The food is always amazing and they're always very kind. I've been there when people have been rude and they handle it very well. They also do a good job packing everything nicely. We love going to this place every week.Keep up the good work!“
“Great Chinese food with large portion sizes for a decent price. Got the combination platter of sesame seed chicken, fried rice, wonton soup, and an egg roll for only $10.40. Had enough for at least two meals and everything tasted great. Order was ready in less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend.“
“The AK47 was delicious. Please get it if you like spicy food; you will absolutely regret it. But what’s the point of spicy food if it’s not melting your face off? It tastes very good, then the spice comes outta nowhere and beats the snot out of you. If I could give it 6 stars, I “
“Best local Chinese restaurant as voted by friends that live closer to others. Service is always prompt and friendly, and the food is reliably good. I've never been served an incorrect order or been disappointed. Take-out only, so atmosphere takes a hit.“
“Sauces were fabulous!Portions were great!Dishes were delivered exactly as you asked for!!We did not expect such generous portions for our main courses so yippee lunch for the next day!We will be back!Vegetarian options: All Authentic dishes from a few regions! Very accomplished preparations. Yum!Get the General Taos Tofu!!!! Delicious, tender but not mushy!Have not found this prepared so beautifully since 1980’s NYC.Go take the family!“
“Food is great! Amazing atmosphere, smiles and greetings from everyone especially the person who serves the food. HE IS THE BEST! Full of energy and interacts with EVERY CUSTOMER! Awesome customer service. I love the orange chicken with fried rice or Lo mein ! Portions are massive and they have pretty good smoothies and bubble tea drinks. Dine in seating is limited but not a big deal,“
“Ordering online was very convenient. The food is incredible. The people are great. The restaurant is warm and inviting. The menu is impressive.I ordered dumplings, shrimp with lobster sauce, beef fried rice, chicken with fresh spicy peppers, and the Kam Heong chicken. I was excited to see real Malaysian and Chinese food. My favorite was the Kam Heong; this is something special, this dish has crispy fried bone in chicken that is mixed with magic. I think it was a combination of curry leaves, soy sauce, chilies, and dried shrimp (I think). The chicken with fresh spicy pepper was delightfully seasoned, complex, and had what I believe were Szechuan pepper corns that have a special tingle to them. Certified good stuff!“
“We’ve ordered here several times and every time I’m reminded that we should order here more often! The food is always excellent, the time frame in which we get it is usually half the time we get it from anywhere else, and the portions are generous for the price. 100% would recommend and definitely get the string beans!“
“Very delicious! I love their gluten-free sesame chicken, it is very nice and crispy.Good place for gluten-free dining. I ordered an item that was not gluten free and they made sure to check with me that I knew.I usually get takeout, but is a very nice restaurant to sit down and dine in as well.Dietary restrictions: Great for those who are gluten-free or celiac.“
“Sesame House is a gem! The food is consistently good. The attention to detail, from the packaging to the complimentary extras, makes each order special. It's become our family favorite, offering great value and delicious meals for our large family. A must-try for anyone in the area!“
“Really good food with decent prices. I haven't tried too much here, but the chicken in garlic sauce, hot and sour soup, and egg drop with seaweed soup are fantastic. Small dining room, but the food is definitely tasty and worth many return trips! Simple menu but flavorful and a nice variety.“
“We came here for the Monday-Thursday all you can eat hot pot deal. While I don't have another hotpot to compare this one too, I can say it was a wonderful experience. The food was good and the staff were friendly. They took our order and brought out the food quickly. I will be back for sure!“
“This is a very nice place the staff here are so friendly and nice, I remember I was talking to the cashier and we bonded because my name is “Erik” with a “K” and her sons name is Eric with a “C” I remember she told me a story that when she was in Canada going back to the US the border patrol officers name was Erik with a “K” but he said apparently the proper way to spell Eric was with a “C” I don’t know but she was really nice and friendly. They have excellent food here! I highly recommend going here!“
“Food was great… owner/host acted like I was going to rob the place. Guy delivering my food (5 min after paying 110$ for 4 entrees with a small tip for carry out) protected my food as if I hadn’t paid. Very awkward experience in the restaurant“
“My wife and I have been coming here the last 3 years. The family who owns this are amazing! We come in about twice a month and they know who we are every time. Food is spot on and they actually care about what they do! Highly recommend stopping here!“
“Wok and Roll is consistent, prompt and delicious. My husband and I are regulars here, so we order very frequently and it’s often the same order. The customer service that is provided is always wholesome and exceptional. We have been sick lately and the staff has been going out of their way to make sure we are able to get our food safely which truly shows how dedicated they are to their customers, I feel like that is really hard to find now a days but is so appreciated!❤️If you are like us, and you prefer to support local small businesses, Wok and Roll is a great spot for good filling food. They are always my go to after a long day, and in my opinion after trying multiple spots around Buffalo are one of the best places to find comfort food. You won’t regret trying them. Ps. Try the soup, rolls and anything with chicken!“
“This is a fantastic restaurant. The food is well priced and delicious. Anytime someone comes to visit this is one of the first places we think of to take them.I love the spicy chicken and hot pork meals and my fiancé is addicted to the Bibimbap. The only downside is that sometimes it is closed on random days (always the day I get a hankering for Korean food) but if you go and it's closed it is WELL worth going the next day. You will not be disappointed.“
“Best Chinese restaurant around! I am not a huge fan of Chinese food, but this establishment is fantastic. The crab Rangoons and steamed rice are not to be missed. My boyfriend orders the general Tso’s chicken and finds it to be the best he has ever had. Definitely worth a stop!“
“Man this is the best Chinese food around the Southtown's and a good portion of WNY. The atmosphere is typical take out so nothing special here. But the soups we have tried and food has been nothing short of real good NYC area Chinese food goodness!“
“Been going to this spot for over 20 years. Food is always on point. Best Chinese in Buffalo in my opinion. With a little redecorating and little more staff this place could be making real noise in the city for how great it is.Kid-friendliness: Nice spot for families“
“Got everything accurately that I had ordered. Always a plus. All of the food was very flavorful. The house lo mein was like a medley of the different styles, I was surprised to find shrimp in it. Delicious.General Tso sauce was full of flavor and on the sweeter side than spicier. The sweet and sour sauce was very mild in flavor but allowed for the chicken's flavor to come through. Crab rangoons were packed with filling and crispy and airy rather than hard and chewy.Pleasant first experience ordering here overall.4.5 / 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“We ordered here for the first time and I'm very happy with the experience. The food tasted very good and the prices were reasonable. The steamed dumplings were fantastic with more meat inside than any other Chinese restaurant I've been to in a long time. I'm only giving four stars because there was one thing I found to be unsatisfactory: the rice. The rice that is part of the combo dinners was sort of bland and a little too dry for my taste. Overall, though I was very pleased and I will definitely order with them again.“
“We sat in the bar area. Bartenders James and Raina were super knowledgeable and helped us make our drink and dinner decisions! Everything was excellent! Perfect start to our Christmas Shopping marathon! We will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: I’m gluten free and they have a nice selection to choose from! And everything is so good!!“
“it was my first time at this place and most definitely won’t be my last. i absolutely LOVED this place and will now be my new favorite chinese food restaurant. The service was excellent and speedy. and the food was incredible, the best i’ve had in a long time. i only waited maybe 10 minutes not even for my food which is normal for restaurants :) i highly recommend this place.“
“Ordered take out, that is why no rating on atmosphere. Loved it! Great bean curd dishes. Even asked if I could get bean curd in orange sauce. no problem. They are the best! Super consistency of bean curd. Light and fluffy. I had the orange bean curd . Amazing!!! The fried rice was great. My wife had the Mei Fun with brown curd, she loved it. I loved my orange bean curd. Service was great. Great place!!!Vegetarian options: Great!“
“They have some of the best hot and sour soup!!!I very highly recommend it, but do note that the crispy noodles on the side are pre-packaged and not refried and warm like some places do.Almost everything I've tried here is good, however I do not care for the sweet and sour chicken because it's too much dough in breading and I prefer a lighter for fluffy coating. Also the crab rangoons are a bit on the small side in my opinion.“
“A hidden gem, expecially for folks with gluten sensitivity! It is a quiet and clean place with a lot of charm inside. The person who waited on us both times was very attentive and kind.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options on MANY of the dishes!“
“Hands down the best Chinese food in Buffalo! The portions are generous and the seasoning is incredibly authentic. It’s hard to find real Chinese food in the U.S., but this is the real deal. Awesome variety and super friendly service. We’re taking some dishes home and will enjoy it all weekend!“
“Excellent food authentic vast choices great specials ??????Vegetarian options: Many meatless veggie combos to chooseKid-friendliness: Plenty of dishes they would enjoy plus fortune cookies and crispy noodles.Parking: The Wok is in a plaza so lots of parking usually.“
“Love this Chinese food restaurant!! I was in buffalo for training and I'm pregnant so I was craving chinese. This is the second day I ordered. I got a large order of house fried rice with egg rolls. Their was so much meat packed into my fried rice . I had left overs for lunch the next day. Love these place. The only thing I didn't like was the fried chicken. It was waaayyy to salty, but It won't stop me from ordering again.“
“I have been "chasing a high" of crispy General Tso's with a specific style sauce and fried rice for a handful of years. I came across this location and had to try the General Tso's. NIRVANA! I had finally found the sauce/crispy combo I had been searching for that I was used to eating growing up in Eastern Erie County. The staff are nice, food is quick and I like sitting at the table looking out the window while I enjoy lunch. It's one dish, to my preferences, but I'd recommend you trying it!“
“Amazing customer service, Gin Gin was honestly a great experience was driving and stopped at a stop light looked over and decided to stop by and it was a great choice. The food comes in big portions for what you pay even the egg rolls are huge! Like whoa 10/10 and great atmosphere very homey. Will definitely be dining here again! Also idk what the other people are saying about the general tso chicken I thought it was good.Vegetarian options: My wife and daughter are vegetarian and they were very cautious and thoughtful about choices to suggest!Parking: Lots of space for parkingKid-friendliness: The staff was so sweet and kind to our little one absolutely felt welcomed as a young family!“
“Great prices, great food, great service. The owners there are the sweetest little things and always makes sure to perfect each order. The best dish is the beef broccoli and the buffalo chicken wings. They give a heaping amount of meat and the wings are massive. The shrimps rolls are the cherry on top. Very good“
“China One is conveniently located on Transit in the Tops plaza. The food is fresh and delicious every time. Large chunks of onions and carrots in the fried rice. The portions are a good size with a fair price. I love the crab rangoons and the egg rolls. What's not to like ?! Yum !! ??“
“I recently ordered from here. The food is very good , and very reasonably priced. They use fresh ingriedients and the beef in the broccoli dish is very tender. There were lots of won tons in my soup and the broth has a lot of flavor to it, not watered down. I have always been greeted with friendly service over the phone and in person. Thank you.OH and the egg rolls were delicious, crispy but not overdone. I had an extra one left over for the next day and still crispy after coming out of the microwave. :)“
“I order from here often, and this restaurant delivers the perfect typical "Chinese fast food" Americans have grown up on. A wide variety of delicious, traditional dishes at a reasonable price, with fast, friendly service. Highly recommended!“
“I went during their promotion last week and the people and food are 10/10! Excellent much needed halal option added to the neighborhood. Different type of cuisine that compliments the growing population! Keep up the good work and looking forward to trying the expanding menu!“
“This restaurant has great reviews and I live nearby so it's a shame it took me this long to go try it. We ordered the chicken hibachi and the bulgogi. Both meals came with a miso soup and rice, the hibachi dinner also had some vegetables with it. All the sides were amazing, the soup was really good, the rice was sticky and delicious and the vegetables were cooked great. The bulgogi was super tender and will definitely be a staple of my future orders. Only complaint about the food was the hibachi chicken was pretty dry. If it had some sauce I think it would've masked it some, but I'm going to try other things on the menu before I give this a second chance. We also had the pork gyoza appetizer and it was one of the best I've ever had. I tried using its sauce on the hibachi chicken to help alleviate the dryness and it worked a little bit. I unfortunately didn't take pictures of the food, but I do have pictures of the menu so I will share that since all the ones on here are very old. This menu is current as of 3/28/2023. The restaurant has no dine in options currently, they are set up for take out and are quick to make your food. Also the cost of this place may have gone up over the years, but it's a great value for really good food!“
“Maybe it's just not their thing, looking back on this now makes a whole lot of sense seeing how they only had like 5 options. Their sushi wasn't really all that great ESPECIALLY for the price! To be fair I think I find the sushi to be waaaay better at the food court than here. Other than that the place definitely has atmosphere.“
“Very fast, very yummy Asian-American food at reasonable prices. They use Styrofoam "clamshell" containers, which I'm not a fan of (the old foldout boxes are better), but the portions are generous and they tend to be ready faster than they tell you (I only ever buy 1 or 2 dishes, they always say "5 minutes" and it's already done when I'm counting the last of minute 4). Staff are efficient and not discourteous. And the location is pretty convenient for the east side of Buffalo. Parking hasn't been an issue yet.“
“Lin Chopstick House is a quiet little place but the quality is decent. They make everything fresh so it does take a bit longer than your room if the milk Chinese take out joint. They were doing a brisk business as I waited 30-45 minutes for my order as I never got takeout from Lin before. If I had known it would be 30 minutes I definitely would have called in an order but I was in the neighborhood so I just stopped in.There was lots of veg in the egg foo young and even though they gravy had a light color it was very good. One of them better preparations of egg foo young that I've had.“
“Very nice clean place with a great price for lunch or dinner buffet ….That is a very large selection of items to choose from , don’t forget to try the hibachi , it’s the grill in the far right section , just go grab a plate fill if in that section whatever you want , chicken , beef , shrimp, noodles assorted fresh vegetables and whatever else , ring bell and cook comes out to throw on grill , tell him what sauces you might want. I go with teriyaki and the garlic sauce , he does a great job , leave him a few bucks in tip jar …Also love the wonton soup … yum ! There are fruits , desserts and ice cream also if you have the room …Leave empty plates on table and go for more if you want , they will be taken off when you come back … very nice people work there , friendly , professional and courteous , so many items to choose from thought I was at a cruise ship buffet !Very clean inside … Will be there again and again …??Parking: Large Large plaza parking lot“
“Impressed with the freshness of the foods we ordered. Taste was delicious. ✔️Vegetable Pad Thai, lightly sweet, I really enjoyed this dish. ✔️Broccoli with Garlic Sauce. Broccoli was cooked perfect with slight crunch ? and the sauce is great. ✔️ Mixed Steam Vegetables, personally, the brown sauce that accompanied this dish didn't smell appealing and after a [tip on the tongue] taste I did not eat it. ✔️White Rice, fresh and fluffy. ✔️Egg Rollls, typical, but hot and crunchy.“
“The food is delicious! General tsos wings are to die for, same with the general tsos pizza! My order has been correct every time, even when I have doordashed (still hot and not soggy). Chrystal is also a plus, great bartender, tons of personality, you won’t forget her! I wish I had a pic of the wings bc they are sooo good!“
