“Amazing food, cozy, elegant,...Anna was so sweet and kind.We were looking for a nice romantic place to spend our Valentines date night and I am sure we found not only the perfect place, but our new favorite place for now on.”
“It's fun to leave the Bronx and drive up to Westchester and see what they have. I never know really where to look. Quick search of the best restaurants of Westchester had this pop-up. It looked quaint and cute and it's in Dobbs Ferry, so how can you go wrong. An adorable little neighborhood. So we went in. Not a huge menu but a really well attended to menu. And excellent staff. The bartender was an incredibly gracious and sweet young lady whose personality just made the meal all the better. We have a limited diet choices because of salt and meat avoidance but they had enough for us to eat. The homemade mozzarella was just delightful. And that's not really my thing. I just wish they gave me a little more bread to mop up all of that delicious flavor. The fried octopus literally dissolves in your mouth. Delicate and delicious seasoning. And don't get me started on the Rigatoni. A bone filled with marrow, standing up right covered with rigatoni accented by caramelized onions and seasoning. It's a dish that you literally eat. Just one bite at a time to really enjoy the rich flavor. We had just intended on having these little bites as appetizers and it was so good. We literally ordered another one. I will definitely return for this dish alone. I must say for the meat eaters, the rest of the selections looked incredible.”
“Just had takeout from here, what a great place! So much fresh flavor, like street food in Mexico, with friendly service. We’ll be making these tacos and quesadillas a regular part of our week from now on.”
“Excellent food and pleasant staff I am glad we tried this place. It is our go to for fresh Chinese takeout that is very tasty. I love their chicken and eggplant albeit a little spicy. Their fried rice is very good and it's darker as it's made with soy sauce. Their pineapple fried rice is excellent too.”
“The service, sangria, and enchiladas verde are always good! Expect the salsa to have a smoky chipotle flavor that is mild and delicious. This is our go-to Mexican for a casual family meal. Our kids love it here!”
“This is the spot. We are new to Dobbs ferry and I popped in today for a sandwich. Woman behind the counter was very kind in explaining what the most popular wedges are. Landed on an #11 which is chicken cutlet, American, bacon, bbq. Was top class. Not new to New York deli scene at all and they edged out another top spot a few towns over due to the crispy bacon. They know what they’re doing here don’t think you can wrong with anything on the menu. Lots of locals stopping in to pick up orders.Parking: Easy and free 15 min town street parkingKid-friendliness: They’ll make whatever you want. Picky eater would be easy to satisfy here”
“One of the best sushi spots in Westchester but they really need to get fresher ginger. Sometimes it tastes like soap. Otherwise, love the food and order from here often!”
“Went to Monday night Bingo with some friends. It was super fun! The staff was friendly and the food was good bar food. I won a round of Bingo so that was a nice perk!”
“The ‘host/clerk/cash register operator is very friendly and knows many of his customers by first name. Hot food to takeaway. Very convenient opposite Village Hall.”
“There were two other locations. The one in north Yonkers unfortunately closed but the Riverdale site (and this one) are still going strong. Great happy hour, solid plates, and great service. Drinks are well done. Parking can be a problem and there aren’t many tables when the place is popular, but worth it.”
“Delicious & healthy food, great service and reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: Lots of fresh juices, smoothies and salads. They even have gluten free options.”
“Nice small cafe in Dobbs Ferry across from the fire station. The breakfast specials are very good. I had chorizo eggs and beans and it was very good. Breakfast and lunch spot.”
“I love this place. I’ve gotten take out here every few weeks for many, many years, and every time it’s wonderful. The people working there, especially the woman who has run the counter and I think has managed the place for all the years it’s been open, are fabulous. Times when I get sushi it’s always good, fresh, nice, basically as it should be. Lots of rolls, all of them tight and clean (I like the California roll because I’m basic and I seriously love imitation crab, no joke). But mostly I like “kitchen food,” like the gyoza, the rock shrimp tempura (just those two with white rice is enough for me). The black bean salmon is really good too. I’m so glad they’re still here in DF.”
“Great Italian-American fare. Portions are molto grande, take it easy on bread before the meal!My 2024 New Year's dinner at home of sausage (which my brother-in-law had them remove from his chicken scarpariello @ Scaramella’s) and peppers.”
“Wonderful open space with amazingly responsive wait staff and a chef-owner who makes r rounds to see how you liked the meal. We had appetizers of burrata salad and a polenta with meat sauce and everyone had different main dishes all involving perfectly cooked seafood. No room for dessert but if we had the opportunity to eat dessert bo doubt it would have been excellent! Can't wait to return!”
