It was packed and the vibe is low key pretentious tbh (from guests, not servers) but the food met the high bar.- warm bread (5/5): everything you want bread and butter to be.- yellowfin tuna (5/5): that sesame crust was bomb. Just a great, unique delicious plate.- salad (4.5/5): refreshing, well balanced- the squid (4.5/5): quite the statement dish. This was actually quite large. Perfectly charred. Didn’t love the type of peppers that accompanied it but overall a very well prepped dish.- ricotta gnudi (5/5): these were pillows of ricotta and I would definitely order this again. Quite rich.- toffee pudding (5/5): save room for dessert! This was surprisingly delicious. Loved the sweet and salty combo. “From the moment I walked in the Rolos team impressed me with how accommodating they were with the seating for my older father. The experience continued with a warm welcome from the staff and a delicious brunch. Polenta with eggs were fantastico but don't miss a chance to taste the burger. “We came across this restaurant from a viral social post and didnt have any expectations honestly. The food was EXCELLENT and it had been a while since we’ve said that about a trending restaurant in NYC. We started with the wings that were some of the best wings I’ve ever had ( they serve it piping with a side of soaked towels to wash your hands) and the bone marrow was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Served on the bone with a side of buttery toast to place the marrow on and a delicious onion jam that sealed the deal. Then we had their famous burger with bacon and egg and it did not disappoint and a shaved prime rib that was AMAZING with a side of bacon Mac and cheese (we came hungry lol). Finished with the chocolate cream pie and key lime pie that sent us. Now the food was amazing but I have to say our server Ariana was what made our overall experience a 10/10. She was the BEST server we have experienced in a long time. She was so friendly, outgoing, and perfectly attentive and really made our night extra special to be honest. WE WILL BE BACK!“

“I really like this restaurant! The food is high quality and the experience is fine dining but fun/relaxed.The menu is composed of bits of familiar recipes with Korean twists and French culinary techniques. There’s galbi, squid ink fried rice, uni, and mäd toast (which sounded monstrous but I didn’t get to try it this time) plus much more. I liked that the menu is small-sized and minimalist with clearly labeled snacks, little colds, hots, mains, extras, and desserts (menu is posted outside the entrance and on website). The current menu that started in mid-March has snacks/appetizers such as spicy yellowtail tart, beef tartare, fried shiitake mushroom rice balls (I think?, it’s labeled as mushroom arancini on the menu), pork head katsu, and scallion buns with unique sauces on the side ($20 per person, either no one or everyone orders). I tried the mushroom tempura with onion dip too! Everything was elegantly and adorably plated. Our server explained what’s what and suggested how to best enjoy some dishes. They have a really extensive drinks menu (many pages), complete with your usual offerings and their own unique cocktails, rice alcohol, maekgeolli, and even alcohol free cocktails woohoo! Not sure if all of the ice cubes for the alcoholic drinks are engraved with the restaurant’s name and logo but ours were and I thought that was a really cool and personal touch.An equally important part of my dining experience was the atmosphere and service. The staff are attentive, frequently filling glasses low on water and folding napkins when you step away. They also keep the music bopping and adjust their playlists. The lighting is a little dim and the interior is ‘cool club’ vibes but for a slightly more sophisticated audience. It’s a place to come in casual or dressed up a little for fun. It’s best for smaller groups of 1-4 I think based on seating arrangements but they seem to be able to accommodate slightly larger groups at some bigger tables and in the back room. Expect to pay $50-$100 if you get one item from each category on the menu and a drink. Probably $100+ if you get more or multiple drinks. The bar area in the back is across from the kitchen, which might be cool to peek at to see some staff members curating orders.I like that it’s on a quieter block in ktown area. The price range and location filters out loud and teen crowds, so it feels like a great place for young adults and Millenials to catch up or go on a date. It’s a place to sit down and chat while you savor small bites and wait on more food to arrive, so you’ll probably need like 1.5-2 hours if you’re going for a natural relaxed pace. I also saw a family of 5 enjoying dinner together here. Lastly, this is random but the hand soap is heavenly. I can’t wait to see what other menus they craft!!Dietary restrictions: They will ask about dietary restrictions and can modify recipes. If you don’t eat certain ingredients/foods, they can omit snacks too and adjust the price for you accordingly.“

Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. “We were staying at Arlo SoHo while in New York and we hadn't booked anywhere to eat on our last night so we decided to eat at Lindens in the hotel. My wife had the pasta pomodoro and I had a cheeseburger with some fries on the side to share. All of the food was so tasty and the mocktails were fantastic as well. The food was delicious - from the scallop dish (created in honor of the renowned Paris bistro L’ Ami Jean), pristine Tuna Crudo, decadent Arroncini, Steak Tartare, delicately cooked Cod in an aromatic shellfish broth and a rich breast of Duck. Tonight’s service was a reflection of this seminal service ethos. The service provided by Bob Yee was wonderful. Mr. Yee personifies the legendary warmth of service which was the foundation of this iconic, ground breaking restaurant four decades ago. Under the watchful eye of GM Mike Pernicano and long time team members such as Mr. Yee , USC remains a New York treasure.It should be noted that the USC wine list remains one of the City’s finest, with carefully curated selections from across the globe. The USC wine list is fairly priced (as it has been since the restaurant shocked the industry with its groundbreaking focus on artisanal producers from France and Italy). “We went last Sunday night for a family dinner. We ordered White bean Hummus, Hamachi and Tuna appetizers(tiny portions), Gruyère fritters as starters. Can’t remember what else. Everything was delicious. We ordered pork Katsu and the citrus marinated chicken, Gnocchi w Duck Ragu for dinner which were also well prepared and accompaniments were flavorful. Part of our dinner was the charred octopus appetizer. This dish was quite overcooked and chewy. The sauce on the side was the only way we got through the plate. In retrospect we should have sent the item back as it was an expensive selection but we did not want to be rude. This was also unexpected as our other choices were tasty so we did not know how to deal with this miss. All in all this dish was a disappointment. Staff was friendly, vibe was nice and the restaurant was quite full on a Sunday evening. We noticed a gentleman watching over the dining room and I am guessing that was to make sure patrons were either well taken care of or not over staying.“
“Pecking House had some of the best fried chicken I have had in recent times. It was elevated and you could tell there is an extra level of sophistication to their chicken. Different flavors, different techniques and some Asian fusion aspects that pair so perfectly well with the classic American style fried chicken. Cornbread was excellent, dirty fried rice was also superb and the chili chicken sandwich really hit the spot. Can't wait to return to Pecking House in the future! But overall, the taste was kinda dull, no layers for me.Soft serve was delicious, barley with beautiful honey taste. But it was a little bit watery and too soft, melted really fast.“

You don’t have food and 3 drinks in a restaurant and people not necessarily order the most expensive dish in groups. If you like good food at great price this is it. The crowd seems to be young professionals to business owners, but I was with my family and our toddler and were welcomed in a typical NY style. Come and try it, we spent around $178 and it was us 3. Def will came back for a special dinner and prob seat outside. Please reserve a table. It’s a must.“

“Amazing dinner experience for valentine's day. It was packed when we arrived but were promptly seated as we had a reservation. We had the prix fixed menu which consisted of 3 courses. The apps were amazing and almost stole the show before entrees arrived. We were so taken aback how great they were and couldn't stop raving about ever so tender and flavorful octopus and Cavatelli duck ragu. For entrees, we chose duck breast and the American wagyu steak cooked properly to medium and medium rare and had amazing tenderness and flavors with a beautiful presentation as well.Only minor gripes were the cocktails we had ordered were a tad too sweet and fruity for our enjoyment and we had to switch it up to something off their menu and classics which they accommodated gladly. Service was attentive although it was a hectic night for v day. The desserts could improve and didn't live up to par like the apps and entrees. Flourless chocolate cake was rather dry but Panna cotta was beautifully presented and scrumptious. Overall it was definitely worthy of a former 1 michellin star restaurant experience in my heart. “Best experience!! We had a private event at American Brass in January for about 20 people. Everything was perfect! The restaurant is gorgeous, and the food was delicious! We loved the style and atmosphere of the restaurant. Our menu included a champagne toast, appetizers, their amazing focaccia bread, steak frites, the polenta, passed desserts, and a cake. They were also able to accommodate a vegetarian option. It was all so good!! Everyone really loved their food, as well as drinks at the bar afterwards! The staff are all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Tegwyth, American Brass’s Events Manager, was so thoughtful and instrumental to planning our event! She worked closely with us for months leading up to the party and had great suggestions. Ellen, American Brass’s Executive Pastry Chef, made us the most beautiful and delicious cake.
