Finally had the chance to try this place out, and we ordered take out. And boy, we're we impressed by the seafood combination entree. The octopus was so tender and grilled to perfection, wow wow wow. The calamari itself was just as tender, the veggies on the bottom were a great touch. The lemon potatoes were probably the best lemon potatoes I ever had in my life and I'm not exaggerating on that!! Service is a little slow, but outside of Astoria Plaka is a well-managed family restaurant with good food. We ordered chicken noodle soup, spinach pie, and a chicken souvlaki platter with lemon potatoes. You can't go wrong with that. Perhaps we might come back?
