“A warm island smile from Chis the owner welcomes you ..the smell of freshly made cuisines of curry chicken, curry goat and jerk chicken in the air! The jerk chicken is just right. The menu displays a variety dishes for each day of the week also. Plain rains and steam cabbage on point! Even though I was in town on business and 2 hours away.. it’s certainly worth another visit. As someone who is hard to please when it comes to food, I was thoroughly impressed with how they were able to make us so happy. “As a local in Ellenville, I love giving Sook House business. This has been a family business for many years. They rarely have waiters or waitresses and is sometimes served personally. The food is fantastic, and there are many different rolls to choose from. My kids love Korean sodas!”

“Wilson’s market was highly recommended by my coworkers from Ellenville Rolling V for their sandwiches. I went today and got a Southern comfort chicken Panini and it was absolutely amazing.. ? The flavors were so well coordinated and dancing in my mouth!When I took my 1st bite, it was like Ecstasy…lol… truth!! ?I will definitely be back to try other sandwiches as well. “The recently updated menu is so good! We have always loved the food and the vibe inside but this new menu is especially excellent. We love the steak options, their specials, pastas, shishito peppers, melted cheese board (never had it anywhere else), and the chorizo tapas. Also they just got their liquor license which is awesome! It's almost impossible to find a restaurant open on a Monday in this area and here I sit totally satisfied with my dinner! Very generous portion of chicken over a bed of ziti smothered in tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese!Dietary restrictions: Vegan items are on the menu. Most items are already gluten free, but you can request gluten-free pasta, bread and pizza.”

“I'm not sure why the owners decided to call this place a coffee shop, it's very misleading! They offer much, much more than that.Homemade vegan soups, full sandwich menu, always something new and fresh! Prices are very reasonable. It's a "hidden gem" for a great affordable lunch.NOT a coffee shop. They sell coffee, but it's nothing special. No coffee shop ambiance, it feels more like a Chinese takeout place.Visit. Eat. Enjoy.But don't come for the coffee. I can't even imagine how much business this place must lose because it's so poorly named.Last thought - this place, like so many other restaurants in the area, has no website. No online menu. No social media. It's 2022, and I wish little mom & pop places like this were savvy enough to understand how much revenue they're missing out on.It's as if the owners don't want people to know what they offer, which is really a shame because they work so hard to bring fresh and delicious food to the table every day.”
