I been going to this place since they opened in the food court. Back then there wasn't a-lot of taiwanese food places at least to my memory. My go to food is the chicken, but I prefer to not have the sauce and just get more of the pepper powder. We arrived at 10:30 thinking all stores were open because website stated the food court opened at 10. We asked if they were open and they were even though they were still setting up. Salt and pepper chicken rice plate - chicken was good. Wish they had fried basil on it. The rice was mushy. Definitely was not fresh. It also came with pickled radish that I was not a fan of. I always enjoy such a delicious and filling meal whenever I come to eat at 8090 Taiwan cuisine. My usual order is the salt and pepper chicken with rice (also comes with a side of miso soup). I have also tried the cuttlefish thick soup, which has the perfect touch of pepper to it and comes with a decent amount of cuttlefish.
