Being in Ridgewood on Monday, with some friends, who had not been in the neighborhood, we grew up in 30 years. I thought it would be appropriate, to take them to Catania Bakery, on Fresh Pond Road. I love this bakery. I've mostly gone to their other location in/close to Bushwick but this has been THE go to bakery for me for the last few years.Amazing all around. I got what I thought were big rainbow cookies (turned out to be cheesecake in between two moist cakes in the shape and color of the Italian flag.
