We brought our kids that can’t finish an entire omakase. We thought we could get a la carte for them but they won’t let you order just a la carte despite the two adults ordering a la carte. Service was fast, taking away our plates before we were even done chewing. Didn't mind it too much but it did feel a little rushed.“

On two separate visits, the server forgot my drink. The server on our last visit was downright surly; she really seemed like she did not want to be there at all and spent most of the evening ignoring us. And, also during our last visit, we almost turned around and left because it looked like the place was closed. It was dusk, all the lights and signage were turned off, tables and chairs were stacked out front and a large pile of cardboard recycling was waiting to be picked up. I only saw that there were lights and people in the back of the space when I was out front.“

The service was good cant complain about anything they were able to accommodate for my moms birthday and bring out a cake which was very nice and there dessert selection is very unique as well! That comes out fresh as hell and it was cold out at the time sooo it is a bit biased. Was it the best, no, was it damn good, yes. Yaki soba was good and I think personally the onigiri's were lacking(2.5/5). The Fried curry croquette was very standard, like we're talking (3/5) for that. As a bar, the food is definitely a stand out for here.Service(4/5): Service was wonderful. The individuals might seem a bit rushed but everyone is Japanese. Each corner is different from one another. A mini train that goes around one corner to this old fish tank with random items inside. It's great! Chairs are comfy but not mind-blowing. Ambient lighting is a plus but terrible for food pictures. It's really hard to get it right. Bathroom is clean. Can confirm bathroom is clean and it's a little tight to get there but it's not bad.Overall (4.5/5)Nonetheless, for sure this is a place I'll revisit in the future. The line is long but it's worth it once in a while. The hype is real. It's recommended medium rare, and it came cooked to perfection. I mean look at the attached pic, Jesus Christ. Every bite of this large beef patty amalgamated with cabot cheddar, onion marmalade, marrow aioli, and bacon is a juicy blast of heaven between 2 buns.
