“It may or may not be what you would expect from Lia's. I usually frequent the lia's in oceanside, So maybe my expectations were high. Food is decent.Service today was a bit less than it should be. Kid behind the counter was doing alot of talking with the other guy.I ordered 2 more slices, and he Forgot to put them in. Then he forgot they were in the oven. After all was said and done he tried making up for it by not charging meFor the 2 drinks. I won't turn down free, but is that something you do because of your incompetence? not sure how things work around there or if he is in relation to the owner. But where I've worked in the past that kind of thing was frowned upon. Unless a manager pit it in on your behalf. Anyway today wasn't a good day for them.“
“Saw this was mentioned in a neighborhood post and thought we would give it a try. Penna Primavera with sautéed vegetables in garlic and oil - was fabulous! I saw the grilled chicken with broccoli rabe on a toasted hero. Oh man just a little olive oil and garlic throughout the sandwich (2 napkins) Definitely looking forward to our next visit.“
“An authentic New York pizza place. The regular slice hit the spot, but the white slice was a little heavier than I prefer (a thick layer of ricotta cheese that's delicious but extremely filling). Parking is parallel parking on a fairly busy street but there were several spots open and most people come and pick up and leave. Friendly stuff and lots of empty seats early on a Saturday evening.“
“I order frequently and the food is good yet the level of service is not at par as we expect for a local family Italian pizzeria. The person taking order is outright rude ...makes you want to order somewhere else so you don't have the attitude that comes along.“
“Cinelli's is my favorite pizza spot in NYC. I travel 20 minutes once per week to grab our favorite cheese pizza for me and my children. I even introduced my boss to there years ago after visiting others we didn't enjoy, and now he too won't eat any other pizza lol. Joey and the crew are so friendly, kind and courteous. My whole family is hooked on them, even the ones who visit me from other countries around the world. Best pizza and Italian food in New York. Period ????Parking: Free Parking available on restaurant grounds.Kid-friendliness: What can I say, the owners know my kids by name. That's friendly to me lol.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp where persons in wheelchair can access facilities and there's accessible bathroom on the main floor for such, extra bathrooms available downstairs for all others.“
“Nostalgia is the word I use to describe this pizzeria. It reminds me of the pizzeria my wife and I went to on dates when we lived in Brooklyn. Everything about it reminds us about that time but especially the pizza. This is the best pizza in town.“
“Humble location, the money doesn't go into the decor it goes where it really matter, the food! The high caliber of the ingredients used stands out with the appearance of the food and most importantly the flavor. Thanks to the wood fired over this place is putting out pies that you would expect to find for triple the price in a trendy part of Brooklyn. Thank goodness us simple folk have a place like this to eat right here in Franklin Square. Eat here, you taste buds will be grateful.“
“The Franklin square school district put on a performance of the little mermaid jr. And the parents wanted to have a cast party for the kids after the last show.So I went into Carmella’s to see if they would be able to donate. I went in there cause i was friendly with the owner Mike.I soon found out he doesn’t own it anymore and I met the new owner Jerome. And soon as I told him what it was for he said “how many pies do you need for the kids”. Other places were kind and offered a discount on pies and throw a free one in.But this man didn’t want anything so on behalf of all the kids thank you Jerome.I can garuntee your kindness will be rewarded by our community.“
“(Edited my og review because it was poorly written and rushed.)So there I was, on a spontaneous adventure, when suddenly, BAM! Google throws me a curveball - "Nutella Empanada." You bet I was intrigued. It was like the universe daring me, "Bet, let's go."Stumble into this place, and it's like I've walked into the heart of the local scene. This guy, just oozing neighborhood vibes, hits me with, "You're not from around here, huh? Welcome to the best Italian spot in town." And he didn't stop there - gave me the lowdown on all the hidden gems nearby. This dude was living and breathing local charm, and I was here for it. The lobby? Packed with the coolest cats you could meet.Turns out, snagging a table at this joint is usually like finding a unicorn - pretty darn rare. But guess what? They worked some magic and got us in... into an outdoor igloo, no less! Yeah, you read that right. An igloo! (Peep the pics for proof - it's as rad as it sounds.)Now, let's talk food. Holy smokes, it's delish. The staff? Angels in disguise, I swear. Super friendly, on-point, and ready to make your experience top-notch.Oh, and if you see anything with Vodka sauce on the menu, just do yourself a favor and order it. It's a solid 10/10. Trust. All in all, this spot isn't just a restaurant; it's a local legend. Do yourself a favor and drop by. You won't regret it.“
“I took a chance because it had a high rating and good reviews. I was not disappointed. Chicken alla vodka pizza was great. Chicken chunks are really big. I placed my order in the morning, and it was ready for pick-up. Great, friendly service. I will definitely return.“
“The service at this pizza and bagel store was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile by the staff. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about their offerings. They took the time to explain the different options and made recommendations based on my preferences. The orders were fulfilled quickly, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was to my liking. When I asked for a special request, they accommodated me with a smile. The team worked seamlessly together, creating a welcoming and efficient experience. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction. I left feeling valued and impressed, which is a testament to their exceptional service. Kudos to the team for setting a new standard for service excellence!“
“Hi I don't usually don't do reviews but I had a surprise birthday party for my wife on 3/23 of a party of 20 people and from the beginning dealing with and planning with EVA she went up and above my expectations walking me threw everything from beginning to end I can't say enough of her and Barbara and just wanted to thank Barbara our server handled all of us with no issues at all and all of the staff who helped with everything from Eva, Barbara and would give both of them 10 stars and more and food was absolutely exquisite“
“Hidden gem ?Traditional Italian restaurant, loved the authentic experience here.?The atmosphere definitely reminded me of being in Italy, especially the owner who made everything from scratch. It was an amazing experience.?make your way here if you truly want an Italian experience, with no rush, sitting, and socializing... and the food will come when it comes.?the service was on the slow side because it was a full house, so it was understandable.?My favorite was the Buffalo, basil, cherry pizza. It was delicious.?the nutella pizza with strawberries was perfect for dessert & sharing.Vegetarian options: Options available.Dietary restrictions: Options availableParking: Metered parking until 7pmKid-friendliness: High chairs available. Kids menu available. Crayons and paper for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Indoor and outside seating available.“
“Eddie is a great guy I went there thinking it was a Brick oven pizzeria he told me no I said forget it he said have a try and gave me a piece of pizza . It was great tasting and crispy crust thin just the way I like it he’s the best . I’ll be going there for now on . Great guy great pizza thank you “
“Pizza was good for Long Island. It's really hard to find good pizza in Long Island. Dario's pizza can be compared to L'Industrie in Williamsburg Brooklyn. I went with one slice of pepperoni and a regular slice. They were both good! So if you're ever out on the island, try Dario's.“
“I had an amazing experience at the pizzeria! The pizzas were delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service - friendly staff, prompt service, and a welcoming atmosphere. A must-visit.“
“My family and I went there to celebrate my husband’s and my birthday. We were treated like royalty, the service, food and lovely atmosphere couldn’t be better! This restaurant truly lives up to its name! We look forward our next visit!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Delightful Italian experience! We started with sautéd calamari and the Ceaser perfect for the both of us. The penne a la vodka was aldente and creamy, and the halibut was perfectly cooked amazing with the potato and escarole combo. Exceptional flavors, friendly service a must try! True hidden “
“My recent trip to Long Island was my first time back anywhere near NYC in a few decades. I only had time to get pizza at one place so I picked this place because of the reviews. Got a large sausage (regular NY style), it was very tasty but just a tad too thick for me to be NY style. Great pizza nonetheless but I've had better NY style in the midwest so I can't give it 5 stars. A little thinner and it's probably a 5 star pizza. The flavor is there.“
“This is the best pizzeria that I have been to all my life, good guys, they taught me what their name is, how to pronounce Kerry, they taught this word and it’s interesting, good dishes, the atmosphere is very good, very good, I recommend it to “
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Villa Milano, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel like family. The crew at Villa Milano is truly exceptional - attentive, friendly, and always ready with a smile. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the pizza. Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The pizza at Villa Milano is nothing short of spectacular. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, with a perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings atop a delectably crispy crust. Whether you're a fan of classic combinations or craving something a bit more adventurous, Villa Milano has something for everyone. Trust me when I say, you won't be able to resist going back for seconds (and thirds)! But what truly sets Villa Milano apart is the atmosphere. It's not just a restaurant; it's a place where memories are made and friendships are forged over mouthwatering slices of pizza. Whether you're dining in with friends or grabbing a takeaway, you'll always leave Villa Milano with a smile on your face and a satisfied stomach. In summary, if you're in the mood for delicious pizza served with a side of warmth and hospitality, look no further than Villa Milano. It's a true gem in the world of pizza restaurants, and I can't wait to go back for another slice of perfection.“
“Great food at a small local place with ambiance... if you can get a reservation. They change their menu seasonally... Their wood fired pizza -smoked mozzarella, figs, prosciutto, arugula, pecorino, balsamic is amazing! So is the octopus//lemon & squid ink bean puree..pistachio gremolata..pickled chiles & red onions..celery! They should have cushions available for their metal chairs for those with back issues.“
“North shores local staple. It's my go to, hands down. You'd be foolish to go anywhere else. Weather your in pt.wash., Rosslyn or Glenn head. 100% fresh every time. A true family establishment. Never disappointed.Parking: There's always a spotWheelchair accessibility: 4 wheels or two legs, your always welcome.“
“There was alcohol, but I went there with teenage kids. Korean idol music videos kept playing on the large TV, and the atmosphere was good. Most of the food was salty, so it was difficult for the kids, but I think it was perfect to go with beer.“
“My favorite local pizzeria. If you grew up in Queens then this place will definitely give you nostalgia with the decor and counter seating. The inside will seldomly get a little crowded with students or a kids baseball team but the service is still quick and I’ve never had trouble finding a seat. The food is amazing. Pizza, chicken parm, or the sausage/peppers are my usual orders. Been going here almost 15 years“
“I've been coming here wooo for a good amount of years, I am from Queens and when I want authentic Italian food I come here why multiple reasons one of them it's their food. I am always trying something new and they never seem to disappoint me! It's crazy I live in Queens and come this far to have a slice, lasagna or anything different today I went in and had a Philly cheese steak, it was delicious but not like the Philly cheese steak sandwiches from Philly lol. But over all I'll have it again it was delicious hands down.If you're in town, check them out right off the the LIR North Station Plaza in Great Neck. It's better than Gino's thats for sure!!!Kid-friendliness: It's very family oriented“
“It was a 40 minute drive from where I live but it was SO worth it! Upon walking in we were greeted by a lovely hostess who brought us to our table immediately. The atmosphere and decor was trendy, chic and the place was packed. The cocktails were creative and fun. I loved my Pear of Thieves cocktail and my friend who is not adventurous, took a leap of faith and ordered the Grape Scotch which he loved. The bone marrow app was to die for and we were impressed with the scallops and pork belly entrees. Tanya picked the perfect wine for us and I enjoyed it so much that I'm trying to find where I can buy it for myself. It's the next day and I'm still thinking about my food and the experience. Since there is nothing like Foster in my area, I will definitely be making the journey back! Go there!“
“Great family feeling. Delicious food...owner???.Had my birthday dinner tonight....can't wait to go back!!!!Kid-friendliness: My 7 year old granddaughter Abigail loves it there. She can practice the two words she knows in Italian... Ciao Bella and loves the food“
“Went to Mangia Bene in Valentine's Day for an early dinner & loved the ambience & service that we experienced. Nicoletta our waitress was soft spoken, knowledgeable & patient with our ordering. We ordered the chicken parmigiana, casarroce di bosco, meatballs, eggplant rollatinis, roasted chicken wings & for desert torta burro. We enjoyed everything including the bar & wine selections. I had a gulietta & Lambrusco.Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free homemade pasta“
“We love this place, it's the only pizzaria in rvc we'll eat at/from! Even though I believe the owner, John is it? Is a Rangers fan he doesn't hold my being a die hard Islanders fan against me! ? Staff is friendly making for a more comfortable atmosphere! My food suggestion/s would be, try it all! Thank you for the service, sys! And remember, the change...has ? hahahaha ?“
“My favorite pizzeria. The best one I’ve ever had in all of NYC and Long Island in terms of service and quality. And that’s coming from a carbophile that lives in the city and grew up in Long Island, so it’s fair to say this opinion comes from quite a large sample “
“This long time favorite continues on with great service and delicious food. Parking during the day is hit and miss but that aside for those of us who love a local red table cloth Italian with Italians at the helm DiMaggio's is it. One tip try the Lasagna and you will be hooked for life. Large menu and it is all delicious.“
“Simply fantastic. Fresh crisp salads, with the perfect amount of dressing. Hot mouth-watering, cheese pie that was just out of the oven. And thoughtfully wrapped decadent chicken parm sandwich to go (and made everyone on the plane jealous when eaten a few hours later). Location super easy to get to from Cross Island Pkwy. Kudos & keep slayin’!!“
“First, let me start by saying I don't believe in bad reviews, they can hurt a person's business and I think people should judge for themselves. Having said that, I do, however, believe in good reviews so here goes. I feel like this restaurant is one of the best pizzeria/Italian restaurants that I've ever been to. Aside from the courteous staff and the excellent service, the food is amazing. You can't go wrong with anything that you order. We've been here quite a few times and never had a bad experience. We ordered different things every time and the food seems to be getting better and better. Just an excellent experience overall. Besides all that, the place is very inviting and very clean. Shout out to the staff and owner for making us feel like it was worth it to come all the way from Queens on a Friday night during lent. One of our favorite places by far. I wish I could give it more than just five stars.“
“We hosted a party of 25 at Sapori’s to celebrate our son’s baptism. From the moment we went in to plan for the dinner to the entire dinner experience, we have nothing but great things to say! The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, all while providing us with excellent service - not to mention the amazing food and drinks. They were accommodating of all of our requests and everything was done so well! We highly recommend Sapori’s and will be back for more events in the future.“
“Although the place was busy for a Friday, we were seated immediately at the bar. Food choices is mostly italian and a brick over pizza. Bar service is good Adrian the bartender makes the best Martinis.. Tried the wild berry cosmo and I'm addicted. Also tried the coconut Martini which was also quite good. Pours are generous. For appetizers the Octopus was quite good. Served with Hummus and Crisps.. You will eat everything in the plate.. Perfect compliments. For my entree.. Had the RVC pizza.. White sauce pizza with toppings which included Prosciutto, arugula and parmigiana cheese. Fantastic... Will make this a part of my regular rotation“
“Roman style pizza sounded interesting, so we stopped in and tried some. Very glad we did because it was amazing. We ended up with 4 slices. 2 Roman style, 2 traditional. The Roman style were sausage with broccoli rabe and spinach with artichoke. The traditional were a burrata and vodka pepperoni basil and pesto slice. I can't tell you which was the best because they were all amazing. It was nice to get some slices with fresh greens on them that actually tasted good.I wish I had taken a picture of all the pizza because the variety of slices they had was crazy. Maybe next time I'll get the truffel slice.Parking: Parking in the area.“
“Hidden gem. Not just a pizza joint. They have lots of hidden options like the Korean Chili Chicken or Chicken Teriyaki. I’ve also purchased delicious naan from here as well. All at reasonable prices and very delicious. I wouldn’t necessarily dine in due to the atmosphere but I always visit because of the quality of food. ??“
“The pizza is the best on the island, I can attest to this amazing pizza, which I ate an entree and 3 additional slices. Their entrees are generous and delicious! The place is quaint, homey and the service is solid. The pizza and the white clams cause pasta is worth it! This place is a gem…. Absolutely the best pizza in LI .Kid-friendliness: Kids meals at a great price“
“Probably the best NY style pizza I’ve had in Long Island. I’m from out of town but this spot has opened my eyes to what’s good in the area.Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options for almost all kinds of Italian dishes.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options and are accommodating to peoples dietary restrictionsParking: Lots of paid street parking, free parking across the street and also free manuciple parking near by.Kid-friendliness: It is very kid friendly and even has a party room that can host birthday parties or any kind of party at that.Wheelchair accessibility: There is rampant access at the end of the street at the street lights.“
“First time buying from this pizzeria and it was great. The staff member in the front was super friendly and kind. She was very accommodating. The garlic knots were so good and the mozzarella sticks were hot and fresh. Glad there is a pizzeria in the area!“
“We recently moved to Lynbrook and Gallery Four is one of our favorite restaurants for take-out. We order frequently. Our meal comes with salad and bread. Their food is delicious, fresh, and affordable. We have ordered chicken francese, lasagna, chicken parm, penne alla vodka, and garlic knots. Will continue ordering from them and trying new meals. ?“
“I honestly haven't tasted anything better than here. During covid time, I ordered from almost every pizzeria possible but found myself going back tot his place. If you wanna try a real NYC pizza, this is it. Food, nothing to say, it's just great. I tried pizza (all combos, plain, scilian, hawaiian, house special), stromboli, sausage, zittis, etc. Perfection. Food + great folks there make this place a 5 star place. I rarely ever leave a review, and leaving a review cuz it's been great last 15 years.“
“Solid pizza and ingredients. We ordered a Grandma pie and a few slices of white and eggplant+ricotta. The marinara and cheese on the grandma were good. The grandma is also 12 slices which is a nice bump in size compared to other shops which make 9 slices pies. My only knock on their pizza is the crust. It tastes like a low protein/gluten content flour, almost like all purpose or maybe a little cake flour mixed in. So it's not as chewy as I think pizza crust should be. That said, it's still got a solid crispy layer.“
“Clean location, great pizza options, friendly staff. I thoroughly enjoyed the following slices! Brown Stew oxtail Turkey bacon Chicken black truffle Alfredo Curry oxtail Curry chicken Sweet chili oxtail Jerk chicken You can definetly tell that the toppings are seasoned to perfection!“
“A little off on my order but Mark made it right and hey things happen but will still continue to come here….really best Italian in Tremont really is!!! Thanks again, woulda loved the burrata on top of margarita pizza as we always have but this time no burrata but A+ in the plain margarita!“
“Delicious! Love the checked tablecloths, and old school decor. Greek salad is amazing, and the thin crust is spot on! Their baked pasta dishes are like grandmas! They come out piping hot with perfectly melty cheese! You won't be disappointed. The only thing I will say is don't get chicken on your pizza, it tends to be dry...happens. It's delish on the salad though.“
“Best Pizza in town!! Whenever I travel from out state and desiring a pizza, this is true come and the over customer service is superb! Thank you for all you wonderful dedication to serve the public.Parking: Parking is available at the rear of the building“
“Absolutely delicious. The food is fantastic. I had calamari...perfect, Shrimp Francaise...perfect, literally. I had a slice of Margherita pizza at the first bite, I closed my eyes and threw my head back. The staff was friendly and the place was clean.GO NOW?!!!“
“The pizza here is amazing and so are the wings. Great quality and taste, fresh meats and veggies. But I just cannot get over the pricing…like come on bro, $36 for a pie is insanity even considering the premium halal meats…most popular top rated pizza restaurants have pies with toppings priced well under $30. One time I ordered two pies and some wings and the order came out to over $120+ with tax…they gotta reduce their pricing. Also, the place is small, not much indoor dining space and the food takes a long time to come out so order ahead. Food is worth the wait but idk about the money“
