Went with my wife and some friends( a party of 5) and each one really enjoyed their meal. My wife had the wild caught Salmon, I had the grilled chicken BLT, our friends had the Lemon chicken, pear salad with chicken and my buddy had the stuffed filet of sole... the sides ranged from delicious homemade mashed potatoes, to fresh broccoli and carrots to nice crispy fries. All came out with beautiful presentation...Hopefully the place will catch on and do well since the name change... Whoever tries it will be back. I'll be back!!“
“On the hunt for a good Sichuan/Szechuan place I decided to drive out of my comfort zone and try a new spot where I normally would not go. I have to say it was worth it. When we first arrived it was earlier than my preferred dinner time and the place had only 2 tables with customers. That concerned me but that concern was quickly dispelled. The waitress/hostess greeted us and we were promptly seated. Large fried egg noodles and duck sauce were immediately brought to the table and our chosen drinks quickly followed. The menu has a broad range of choices so you can satisfy multiple cravings easily. The egg roll was nicely prepared and moderately above average. The crab dumplings were good but fishy on purpose I guess to reassure customers that the crab is real and not imitation. The wontons in spicy chili oil were delicious and reminiscent of one of my go to spots in Flushing. The house special fried rice was well prepared, delicious and plentiful. The garlic chicken was abundant for two and delicious. Altogether this place is worth checking out and I will return.“

“George Martin The Original is an amazing restaurant with exceptional food and service. Parking can be tough in Rockville Centre but George Martin has plenty of parking in the back. The bar is very large with plenty of seating...regulars often eat at the bar to chat with people around them and the wonderful bartenders. Reservations are recommended especially during busy hours. My husband and I started with two signature drinks...coconut Margarita and French martini. One better than the other. We shared a wedge salad which was split in the kitchen and chopped. Delicious! We both had steak, my favorite is Skirt steak, his filet mignon. Both cooked perfectly to our liking...dessert was pecan pie sundae... yummy... The service is the best around...especially the manager Suzanne who walks around making sure everyone is happy...can be a bit loud but the energy is contagious....love it there and so will you“

The Grilled Octopus was great! The "Kyclades" special was definitely a great choice, but I can't ignore the fact that they douse it in butter. The same thing goes for the baked potato—way too much butter. If you have to add that much butter to your dish for people to enjoy it, you're not doing it right.The servers were a bit odd, and I do mean more than one. We initially ordered the appetizer and drinks and asked for a couple of minutes to decide on the main course. A different server stopped by a minute later to ask if we were ready to order, so that was a bit off-putting. Maybe they were trying too hard... I don't know. The store manager was nice. He came by our table, introduced himself, and we had a pleasant chat about the food and the dessert drink he offered at no additional cost.Overall, a good choice. The New England clam chowder is like no other. It is very delicious and creamy the perfect consistency for clam chowder. Definitely the best around the Ipswich fried clams are my go to favorite. They are fried to perfection and very clean oil which makes the food very good because the oil is always clean that they cook in. The people that work at Bigelow’s are great. Always welcoming and fun to hang out with by the bar while you eat your delicious seafood, no matter what you get I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area and you love seafood, you will not get any fresher!! No where in menu does it tell you that their plate is BONE IN. Made meal unpleasant.I had lamb chops. I must say they were thinnest lamb chops ever anywhere. Usually they’re 3 double chops in every place I’ve had them. Here they’re 4 single chops so thin you can’t get them medium rare as I ordered. I’d say go but ask lots of questions.“
