“We love going to Strange Design and sitting at the bar. There is great artwork to look at all over and so many great beers to choose from. Had the chicken sandwich tonight and it was delicious! And Adam is always so friendly. We look forward to seeing him when we go.”
“A must stop if you are in the area. Interior was bright and welcoming. Scott and Joan took the time to talk to everyone. Mary Ann was so friendly and gracious. The tasting was generous in compare to others. The chicken bacon wrap was delicious. Will definitely be going back. Looking to forward to sitting out by the fire next to the pond. Please don’t get rid of the Holiday wine!!”
“My nephew who goes to Geneseo took me here for a slice. The pizza was solid. Thin crust with decent sauce. The place looks like an old NYC pizza place with brick walls and high ceilings and darkly lit. The staff were college age kids. The only reason I give the service 3 stars is we ordered three pepperoni one cheese and they gave us three cheese one pepperoni. Wasn't a big deal but I really wanted to try both cheese and pepperoni. Next time I go I will get the pepperoni. Bathroom was clean and the atmosphere of the place was chill. Overall definitely recommend if you like thin crust David Portnoy style pizza.”
“Jeanette is the best bartender. She is very knowledgeable about beers, makes recommendations, gives you samples to try. He has a pleasant, attractive personality. I ordered the 40,000 acres which is a very hoopy beer. It has body, hints of fruit, at least that's what I perceived. Lots of body, lots of vibrant notes. I liked the place. Ample street parking. They have a menu to order from other restaurants. But they have chips and cheese stick.I loved it, it's safe and friendly.”
“Family owned and run by staff that make feel like family, this restaurant has always been a pleasure for me. If I am getting together with friends in this area, it is my first choice. With traditional fare along with American selections, there is something for every palate. A full bar is available, but I love their margaritas, available on the rocks or as a slushy. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is plenty of parking at their new location. The interior is clean and colorful. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.”
“Excellent food at reasonable prices! Really enjoyed the Koji Chicken and the Smoked wings with Bourbon Bbq sauce. The buger I had was huge and delicious! Attentive staff, good music, relaxed atmosphere! Will definitely be back soon.”
“Fresh and delicious, one of the only healthy places to eat in the area. Love that you can customize your order and make it a wrap, pita, or salad. The folks who work here are always friendly and patient, even when you make special requests or ask questions. Check them out!”
“Love and live for taco tuesdays!l but always out of choices of protein on Tuesday. No matter what time I go. Love the toppings selection corn salsa and pickled onions are a ”
“I agree with Kelly that this is a great store with great staff. I live in the area and have been shopping there for 20 years. I recently read that Costco has changed their policy to require everyone over two years of age to wear either a facemask or a face shield, no exceptions! It is about time that Wegmans instituted the same policy. If people can't wear either a mask or face shield, than they should do online ordering with curbside pickup. Even though I shop on weekdays”
“Haven't been inside the building yet....9/10- UPDATE.....not terrible.. nice setting if you like the setup....me personally, not for me...don't like it... i like other dining hall better!! But, everyone's opinions are different....suit yourself!”
“Sometimes you want delivery, but not the usual pizza or Chinese, and you don't want to deal with the gig delivery services and their fees. If you happen to be in these parts and are craving a burger, sandwich, hot dog, or a take on the locally famous "plates," University Hots has you covered. The food is good for college-friendly fare, and relatively inexpensive, and they employ their own delivery drivers and let you pay in cash when they arrive with your food. My burger was quite large and tasty, and the fries are a cut above other places I've eaten during this recent trip to New York to see family. Still hot and fresh, too, which is more than I can say for most Doordash-delivered food.University Hots serves a market that honestly, I wish more communities had a similar restaurant to serve. Because sometimes you just want a burger, you want it delivered, but you don't want to deal with the likes of Doordash or Uber Eats.”
“I got hired here to watch the parlor as a security director. I was stationed in a claustrophobic borderline janitorial closet packed to the brim with high tech security equipment. (FBI/CIA aesthetic) I was hired temporarily only five nights. I was not presented with the fact there happens to be an evil robotic bear with a nice hat staying and entertaining within this establishment. I had signed a contract which required me to return the entire 5 nights. My shifts were 6 hours long from 12am - 6am, not a single amount of coffee, five hour energy, or monster peach mango punch could have prepared my sacred soul for what was about to go down in this haunted chophouse. If ANYBODY is looking for a security job, trust me this is NOT the one. 10/10 would work here again great employers who called to check on the shop once a night, and amazing pay.”
“Ribs weren't the best, but I understand ribs are to cook. Waited 20 minutes for our check.Other than that I thought the staff was outstanding. The wings were good ??”
“This place is a local legend. I had the occasion to try it finally and I can see why. Friendly service, generous portions, reasonable wait time. I ordered a steak sub that was prepared just right - fixings were perfect, steak well-seasoned and juicy. Luckily they had an open table where I could hang out and enjoy my edible work of art! I thought the office was also on par and reasonable as well. I'll be back for sure.”
