The best Afghan restaurant in the Hicksville area! They serve delicious Kababs, especially Chicken/Beef Kofta, Boti, and Lamb Kabab. The service is always excellent whether you eat in or take out. It's the #1 go-to place for a family dinner if you like to have authentic Afghan Kabab!
I've been here on several different occasions for dine in and takeout, and I'm always satisfied. The food is always amazing and so is the service.This last time, I got the combo #4, which is my number one recommendation if you've never been here. Tender lamb chops, well seasoned chapil, lamb Tikka, and melt in your mouth chicken breast. It comes with a side of rice, but I recommend adding the rasins and carrots. We travel about 2 hours(round trip) to eat at Choopan of Hicksville. The food is so good. Fresh, homemade. We always order a lot of food to bring home and freeze. The food heats up perfectly.We have Ordered basically everything on the menu. Best Hummus and Nan.
