“What a gem ?. First (and won’t be last) time visiting this location. I say it’s a gem because it’s located on a busy road in Hicksville and it’s easy to pass without ever knowing it’s there. Everyone on the staff was super friendly. the owner visited our table to introduce himself and made some recommendations based on what was brought in that morning. The food was 5 star. super fresh grilled octopus and seared Tuna. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the dessert Ravioli was incredible. You can tell how much attention goes into each dish based on the taste and presentation. Don’t miss out! Highly Recommend!“
“Had the most positive experience with this restaurant, offered a very nice wine and variety of tasty appetizers and entre . The food is entirely fresh and flavorful.,The service from Gino and Maria and the whole crew was polite and immaculate. The pistachio desert was savory . Would highly recommend. Thank you Trullo .“
“Amazing pizza made with soul!!!!! Always kind service and nice meal specials important at now days;))) Being fan of this place for the last 6 years. Clean facility and fresh ingredients. Everyone can find food for any taste. Eating from this Restaurant few times every month!!!! Thank “
“Impromptu night out—decided to take good friends out for their anniversary and nothing near us was appealing and I remembered Pasta-eria. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Looking around it appeared everyone was thoroughly enjoying their meals. My rigatoni with pink cream sauce, spinach and chicken (Rigatoni Theresa) was a treat..the portion was huge I had leftovers for three more meals!! The mini arancini were perfect, my friends had a shrimp parm hero and a fettuccine and both enjoyed their selections and also had plenty leftover to enjoy.“
“Been loving this family-favorite pizza spot for years. After moving to the USA, my husband's family introduced me to Singas pizza in the Hicksville location. It's still our top choice when we're too lazy to whip up something at home.“
“Was in search of a restaurant to celebrate a 16th birthday and was referred to Patrizia's of Long island. Prior to making reservations, visited for dinner and the food was delicious ! The service was excellent and the waiter was very attentive. Decided to book the dinner party at the Hicksville location and was assisted by Adele; she was friendly and offered ideas for the dinner menu . On the day of the dinner party, the birthday girl and other guests were impressed with the large portions and the variety of food that was presented for the dinner menu selected. Everyone's favorite was the Fried Calamari. The Ambiance was lively and their signature birthday cake presentation of singing and napkin waving was so much fun ! Overall outstanding rating for everything and highly recommended.“
“I heard that this restaurant is good so I checked it out. This restaurant is located in Long Island. I ordered grilled octopus, jambalaya side spinach, tail shrimp vodka, chocolate fondant, and aperol spritz. Food tasted very fresh & delicious. Service was great. Lots of seatings inside. Good to make reservations.“
“Went for my sisters birthday. Great meal from start to finish. Vibe was small and old school. The type of place you might pass by Michaelcomkng out of the bathroom on his way to deal with sallozzo and McClusky.Apps from spicy oysters rock , Thai calamari, grilled artichokes and tuna tartare were all excellent. I had a stuffed fish topped with scallops and shrimp which was delicious but the star was the veal chop. Massive, tender in a Marsala type sauce with mozz. Service was also great. Can wait to go back!!!!!“
“The best pizzeria I have found! My kids are super picky about their pizza but they love the pizza here. Their food is delicious. My personal favorite is the Goat salad with grilled chicken and hot honey pepperoni slice. Also very friendly staff. It’s a hidden gem!“
“We had family visiting from Arizona and thought this was the perfect place to bring everyone. We had a great time and everyone enjoyed their meal. The apps were a big hit....especially the drunken garlic knots and whiskey wings. Had the sausage parm for the first time a couple it was delicious.“
“We held a private event for about 25 people last weekend in the upstairs space at Two25 and I could not have been more pleased! Leading up to our event, Andrea was very helpful and responsive, and the rest of the staff was just as incredible day-of. They were attentive to us and our guests (adults and children alike), regularly checking in to make sure everything was going well and everyone had what they needed. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was fantastic. It was the perfect place for our event, and we'll absolutely be back next time we're in the area!“
“Absolutely amazing! I've been wanting to stop by here for some time now and regret not coming in sooner. My husband wanted to try Farm Italy but Joanina had been calling my name for a year now. He reluctantly agreed came in on a busy Saturday night no reservation. Initially told an hour wait but they were able to seat us in this look nook area within minutes and I absolutely loved this little intimate cozy spot. I love margaritas initially I wasn't going to get one and was going to stick to wine but my husband ordered one as I stepped out to get something from the car. This is now one of my fav places for a good marg! I ended up having 4 usually it's 2 max! We started with a app special burrata, artichokes and peppers and yum yum so delicious! We decided to split a pasta and meat yikes incredibly good! I mean just outstanding pork with eggplant, prosciutto and mozz over a Marsala sauce oh my just incredible! Pasta another hit too perfect amount of cream just a touch and those mushrooms yum! We ended up going back a week later and I went with their bolognese another amazing hit! I also had their creamy burrata with prosciutto just so good. My goal is to try everything on their menu! Their pizzas look amazing too so looking forward in trying them.“
“The only suggestion is go during the week ??! It’s so good!! There was a line out the door on a cold Friday night. Great food, great service! Great dining experience. A new regular place. Do yourself a favor and go here! The owner no only apologized 4 times for the wait because of how unbelievably busy they were(completely understandable after eat here) he greeted everyone, made sure to shake hands and say goodbye to every table. The staff was great, thought, engaging. The food was great. It was well priced. Thank you! Definitely see you againVegetarian options: Good vegetarian options. The choice for vegan food.“
“This restaurant can lend itself to a very noisy environment. Yet today, with several tables taken, conversation was easy and able to be heard. We have been here several times for brunch and a couple of times for dinner. Delicious salad with greens, grape tomatoes and fresh red onions cut over a chicken milanese. Companions enjoyed their choices of crab cake benedict and a large cubano sandwich served with homemade shoestring fries. Shared their homemade flourless chocolate cakes served with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream. Three happy people after an excellent brunch.“
“Always a special night at Grasso's. We've been coming since before the new owners. And it is better than ever. They serve a fresh baked roll with a hint of garlic when you sit down. For entrees, we have had the bone in veal chop twice, both times really large, and excellent. Previously parmigiano and last night with an incredible mushroom sauce, so good. We have had the zucchini linguini every time we dine here since we first tried it. It is all veggies, and all delicious. Ended with decaf coffee and decaf cappuccino, hot and impossible to distinguish from caffeinated coffee. I do not add milk to coffee if the restaurant does it right, which Grasso's always does. Served with biscotti I'm pretty sure came from a good bakery, not a package. Always live music, and where else can you find that on Long Island?“
“Saturday evening dinner without a reservation. Walking in, my eyes immediately gravitated to the pictures of the owners and the many celebrities that have eaten and visited there before. The bar area is very nice and large, with TVs playing sports and news. We were greeted, welcomed and seated immediately. The dining area is very large and decorous. The tables large enough to sit us all. My cousin-in-law and his family frequent the restaurant and he practically knows everyone there, so as we sat, we were introduced to the owners and pretty much about a half dozen waiters and other staff members. All were extremely friendly and welcoming. As expected with all family style restaurants, the tables are very close to one another but positioned in a way that still allowed for ample space for you to move and sit comfortably. When we sat, there were hardly any people there, but within an hour it was full of patrons and large families. It was loud, but manageable. The food was unbelievably delicious. I haven't had true traditional family style Italian food in a long time. From the Fried Calamari and cold antipasto appetizers, to our Veal Parmigiana, Penne allá Vodka with Shrimp and prosciutto entrees. Paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon Palermo Napa, I truly enjoyed my meal. I haven't enjoyed food this good in a long time. My girls shared a huge plate of Chicken fingers and fries, and they loved it. I highly recommend anyone who's in the area to dine here. You won't regret it. Thank you for a great meal and patronage.“
“I had the wedding of my dreams in Westbury Manor. My husband and I had a great experience, they made planning for the wedding simple. Sandra was helpful with organizing the reception for us. My bridal attendant Susan was the BEST! I will never forget how attentive and kind she was, she was an angel. George helped on the day of the wedding keep the flow moving and he was super encouraging towards me and my bridal party. Our guests enjoyed the food, they said it was delicious. I recommend this venue ?.“
“Italian restaurant in Roslyn village but not easily seen as its set back by the water. Food is good, service was good. Noisy and dark, needed a flashlight to see the menu.Sales are large size. My favorite in the Bronzino cooked in paper. There is a nearby municipal lot, street parking, and valet parking available“
“Here to celebrate a birthday. What a hidden gem! The ambiance was beautiful and intimate, the food absolutely delicious and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Everyone was sooo nice. Although we were the last ones to leave on a Thursday evening we were never pressured in any way. Thank you for a lovely evening. We will definitely be back!“
“Great neighborhood family owned italian restaurant. It always so enjoyable eating at Eliza's. Chef makes great food and always has great specials to choose from each night. We started we baked clams and needed to ask for more bread to soak up all that delicious sauce. We both decided on pasta for dinner and both were great choices. I went with pasta rollo which was rolled up fresh lasagna. After seeing similar dishes online I always wanted to try it glad they had it and it was delicious. My wife enjoyed her pasta with chicken & broccoli. Since it was Tuesday they have pasta night and both dishes came with a nice salad.“
“The meal itself was delicious, we shared the zucchini flowers to start, then I had the brasato al barolo (braised short ribs) with polenta (delicious and terrific portion size).. and then after our meal they brought us cotton candy! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening and look forward to returning soon.“
“The food is consistently great tasting and quality. The service( Steven)is prompt yet we never felt rushed. Very friendly. The chicken Milanese is crispy, cooked through and very tender. Served on a large bed of arugula. The pizzas are all great , crispy crust and nice toppings. The pasta is cooked fresh and you can tell. For desert I would highly recommend a cannoli. Left dinner feeling very satisfied. Great portions.“
“The front of house is very nice. When we walked up she was very helpful and we got a nice booth inside. The food was really good and fresh. They use organic ingredients and have some pizzas that are truly unique and delicious. The wings were great too, and one of the best gluten free crusts ever!“
“First time here and won’t be my last! I’m someone who looks for high quality sandwiches and these guys can make one! I got the “club”. Perfect amount of meat and the bacon was perfectly cooked. Service was quick and there was many other goodlooking options. Support small business!“
“We come here often and the service and food is always good. Tonight was the BEST experience we have had here! New waiter Alex was amazing! He was so personable, so engaging with us, continually making sure we had everything we needed. He also makes an amazing French martini! On top of the amazing service I asked for something that was not on the menu and they were more than happy to accommodate me. I got a pork chop valdostana. The special was veal valdostana but I don't eat veal so they made it with a pork chop instead. To say it was delicious is an understatement. Definitely going back soon especially when Alex is working!!!“
“The staff were great. They are attentive, friendly and beyond accommodating. The interior is so pretty. The food which to me is the most important part was absolutely amazing. I cannot wait to go back and try more dishes. The drinks were also delicious.“
“My recent trip to Long Island was my first time back anywhere near NYC in a few decades. I only had time to get pizza at one place so I picked this place because of the reviews. Got a large sausage (regular NY style), it was very tasty but just a tad too thick for me to be NY style. Great pizza nonetheless but I've had better NY style in the midwest so I can't give it 5 stars. A little thinner and it's probably a 5 star pizza. The flavor is there.“
“This is the best pizza in the Seaford Wantagh area, which is saying something. I 've worked through the menu in pizza and pasta items, and it is definitely thin crust NYC rooted, but also is just full of flavor. The round grandma is a gimmick, but is still delicious. The spinach and white pizza is the best I ever had. The baked ziti is cheesed top to bottom, not just one drop of ricotta like most places. Found these guys just this year, and now they're my go to. Thanks for opening nearby, and for the WLIR vibe w the music choices.“
“I had an amazing experience at the pizzeria! The pizzas were delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service - friendly staff, prompt service, and a welcoming atmosphere. A must-visit.“
“Pretty good! This place offers decent slight intimate dining, with great service and good. We had the baked clams which were absolutely delicious! One of our favorites to date.for entrees, we had their pizza and a pasta dish. Both of which were delicious. For desert, we had the napoleon which wasn't great. We definitely won't be getting that ago. Overall, it was a great and welcoming dining experience but it's the type of place you would seek out more if you were local to the venue. Will definitely return in the future.“
“Great food and incredible service. We were a party of 6 that stopped by for dinner on a Thursday. Food was delicious, great presentation. We were celebrating a birthday and the folks at George White all made it very special. Highly recommend.“
“This place is so good. They have amazing Italian food although it's in an unexpected place. The servers are also super nice and friendly and the ambience is modern, clean, and pretty cute. I think sometimes they have live music and that's really nice. Make sure to try their pastas. Super delicious“
“We had the espresso martini (no Baileys) We had the bacon wrapped shrimp special appetizer , so good definitely for 1 person. We had the eggplant rigatoni regatti and linguine white clam sauce with shrimp and pancetta both delicious! Cannoli we shared for dessert, yummy !“
“My brother and I had dinner at The Chef's Table in Lynbrook on Sunday evening (3/17). The appetizer and our entrees were excellent, ambience was very nice, service was fantastic, and there weren't a lot of people yakking away, so it was nice and quiet. The only thing I would have preferred was a male server, but the female server was great. I strongly recommend this restaurant for fine food, nice atmosphere, and great service.“
“The service was excellent. Very loud on Peak Busy times. Seating is very tight. They pack you in. If you are looking for a quiet, intimate setting, this is not the place on busy peak times. The food was okay. Steaks are great. Salad was okay. You are going there for the steaks. I had stuffed shrimp with crab meat. Real crab meat. It was a little on the dry side. The potatoes were good. The chocolate cake was decent, but the actual cake was very dry. Service was amazing, and you are not rushed.Parking: Valet parking“
“We never leave disappointed! We had the mushroom rice balls, tuna tartar, the lamb special and the linguine with crab special. All were FANTASTIC. I even requested to make the linguine a little spicy and the chef delivered. We finished our dinner with the dog cheesecake (also a special) and an espresso martini. Jonathans is a hidden gem with amazing food and service!“
“We attended a large catered event at Piccolo's and found every aspect of our experience enjoyable. Our group of sixty arrived all at once. No one was without a beverage. Fresh bread and delicious focaccia on the table. The amuse bouche of balsamic dressed tomato and mozzarella got our appetites going. The homemade ricotta and spinach ravioli were served family style. Our entree choices included tilapia, eggplant, and chicken. We noted every plate was picked clean. Delicious (and I mean delicious) sugar cookies came with our freshly brewed coffee. Compliments to the warm welcoming and attentive service staff as well as the chef. All delivered the best to make this event memorable.“
“Took my wife last night for the anniversary of her 29th birthday. Great evening. It was our second time there. We first enjoyed a drink at the bar. Shout out to Michael who made her a perfect muddled orange vodka!! She said it was almost as good as mine!! We then sat at a beautiful table - never felt rushed in any way. The staff are lovely. The food was amazing!! The waiter brought over some cuts of cheese (complimentary) while we looked over the menu. We decided to share an order of the mussels, a salad (which ended up being huge!!), the birthday girl had the branzino - which she said was amazing and I had the veal parm which was equally fantastic! The branzino was served over broccolini and came with 2 sauces. The restaurant sent over a really nice piece of Tiramisu with a candle which was really nice. We did exactly what we did last time we were there and made a reservation to come back again! A great nice of great food. Beautiful birthday dinner!!! Sorry we ate all the mussels before I remembered to take pictures!!“
“The food is really good. Over the years we've tried a lot of items on the menu as well as the chef's specials. The only thing I would not order again is the nuts covered fillet of fish. It was a bit dry for my taste. The service is very good , waiters and other staff members are very nice and professional. Reservation is strongly advertised.“
“This was actually my first time here and it did not disappoint. I came here with a large group and the service and the food were phenomenal. It was so good I even called the next day to tell them how great they were . Everything from start to finish was fantastic. We had the wings ,which are the best wings I ever had. We had the meatballs., four different types of pizza and salads. They also had the best dirty martini I ever had. They made it perfect. Will definitely be back.“
“Ardito's is staple of the community there in Mineola. Anyone who knows Rosa and Tony will agree with me that they are both amazing. The food is always on point and handed to you with a smile. The lunch hours can get pretty crowded and busy but is worth the wait. I recommend Arditos for everything from sandwiches to salads and pasta.. eggplant parm to die for and some of the best chicken cutlets I have ever had!“
“Love this place. I live right across the street. I'm in love with their grandma's pizza. The food is delicious. Shrimp scampi is my favorite. And their garlic knots are so garlicky. I usually get a dozen and eat them all myself in way under 2 days. It is my go to place for pizza and pasta. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.“
“SUPER impressed with this place. I've only ever ordered their avocado toast with fried egg religiously for lunch because they make it really tasty without loading it up with onions like other places do. But I just tried their buffalo chicken and gorgonzola panini and omg... amazing. Great quality chicken and has been the best buff chick wrap I've had in a long long time. So happy I finally have a healthy place to eat so close to me! Wish they had come around sooner!!!“
“Rialto's motto: Good Friends. Good Food. From my research I surmised Rialto has been around over 14 years. I was surprised the restaurant does not market their establishment date with their motto, as 14+ years is no small feat. My original visit a few years ago, attending an event with my colleagues bundled in a smaller section of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. It had myself questioning whether I should attend yet another milestone event squished in a corner. After succumbing to the pressures as to why I should attend, I was pleased that this evening's Jan 2024 Retirement Dinner, was set up in the larger part of the restaurant. Great company. Entering from the main door you are met with a warm, cozy glow on the smaller, bar side of the restaurant and then an immediate separation to the larger main dining area. The main area allowed the space needed for co-workers not seen in ages an opportunity to mingle freely. Much more comfortable. Good food. A small sample of the Berkshire Pork Chop was perfectly prepared. I definitely recommend. My Almond Crusted Stuffed Chicken Breast was a savory, sweet dish with the accompanying mashed Sweet Potatoes. Another perfect combination. To add to the pleasantries of the evening, our obviously skilled servers offered prompt, satisfactory service. Any request I or my table companions made were fulfilled without any necessary follow up. There may have been exceptions, though all appeared content with the service. If the opportunity arose again and dependent on the circumstances I would return to Rialto. TIP: Parking Lot in back Residential parking available“
“I was very skeptical of this place at first, but it was amazing. So the concept is Italian-Mexican food. It works. And it works very well.We ordered 3 tacos as well as the surf and turf quesadilla. I was absolutely blown away by the taste and quality of everything. The quesadilla was one of the best I've had in a long time. The steak was juicy, the shrimp wasn't chewy, and the flavors were amazing. For tacos, we got the ital-Americano, chicken parm, and maialino. Every one was tasty in its own way. The Ital-Americano was super juicy, the chicken parm was just delicious chicken parm in a shell, and the mialino was juicy with just the right amount of spice.I need to remember next time to sign up for the rewards program since I know I'll be back there a lot.Parking: Parking all over.“
“Great place! Food is amazing! Best gyros ever!! Service is nice, staff is friendly, very clean! Been coming here for years and will continue. Highly recommend.... thanks for making customers feel at home! Especially Edmond.....That's how you know it's family operated ! Your gyro fans Jimmy and Dina, dine in and take out both were great experiencesVegetarian options: They have many rice and veggie platters, pasta, falafals“
“A unique restaurant offering Mexican and Italian cuisine. My partner and I started off with a delicious Greek salad and then both had fajitas. There was an abundance of the chicken and steak in the fajitas. They came out sizzling hot and were seasoned nicely and flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is not large and has a friendly and family atmosphere. Definitely check it out!!!“
“Cefalu is our family's go to for takeout & delivery. Just haven’t gotten around yet to dining in. We love everything we’ve ever ordered. Pizza is top notch and we even had pivoted during the pandemic from our go to pizza place (for 15+ yrs) to Cefalu since they offered many more choices other than pizza. It was then that we were hooked! Also a must add - ALWAYS superior customer service. Joseph, the owner, has even personally delivered a DoorDash forgotten item and always addresses any order mix ups (hardly any at all) apologetically and quickly. Accountability is a rare quality these days! 200% recommendation Cefalu! You won’t be disappointed - delicious food and great people!“
“They took the $10 Espresso Martini off the Happy Hour menu, darn it! Now it is regularly priced at $17. Trento’s version of the Espresso Martini is my favorite one on Long Island! The fried calamari is so lightly breaded that I felt I was eating just the fish. It is the best calamari that I have ever had on Long Island. However, the Fusilli Bolognese tasted meh! Nevertheless, this restaurant deserves five stars for its quality of food and superb service.“
“Have passed this pizzeria many times and never went in cause I just thought the parking was too difficult . Someone told me today that this was their favorite pizza in Plainview ( it at the border of Plainview and Hicksville on Woodbury road and south oyster bay road). I asked why and he said , it's the cheesiest! Anyway, I decided to try it and was very pleased. I had a cauliflower pizza which was excellent and I could present it was healthier. The regular slice was also good and really cheesy as promised. Inside the dining room is nicer than you can tell from the outside. The staff are efficient and accommodating. You can park on the street , but they DO have a parking lot in back, around the corner. Gotta say, although I haven't been here for 28 years, I plan to return.“
