“We just met the *NEW* owner, Eric! What a genuine guy who makes some delicious food! We placed a very large order, and Eric was such a pleasure to speak with. His personality is just was warm as the pizza we ordered! Not only did he carefully make and package our large order, but he so sweetly gave us 3 slices as my brother, my mom, and myself waited for our order after hearing they’re in town from Florida and were so excited for pizza! The stuffed zeppolis are a quick way to an Italian girls heart, and they aced them. Highly recommend checking out this place under their new ownership. Thank you so much for everything Eric! Best of luck with the new digs, and definitely recommend checking them out!“
“Can’t thank Jennifer and the Marciano’s team enough for making a super rainy day a blast for my wife’s birthday. The food was excellent, they were flexible and so well organized. Nothing but positive things to say and we’ll most definitely be a repeat client. Thanks team!- Evan“
“I was very skeptical of this place at first, but it was amazing. So the concept is Italian-Mexican food. It works. And it works very well.We ordered 3 tacos as well as the surf and turf quesadilla. I was absolutely blown away by the taste and quality of everything. The quesadilla was one of the best I've had in a long time. The steak was juicy, the shrimp wasn't chewy, and the flavors were amazing. For tacos, we got the ital-Americano, chicken parm, and maialino. Every one was tasty in its own way. The Ital-Americano was super juicy, the chicken parm was just delicious chicken parm in a shell, and the mialino was juicy with just the right amount of spice.I need to remember next time to sign up for the rewards program since I know I'll be back there a lot.Parking: Parking all over.“
“Good pizza always enjoy the Sicilian corner slice and the hero's are very good and of course I love the chicken parm Modesto DiRaimo God rest his soul left a legacy in Huntington that his family is carrying on also they have parking which is a plus in Huntington been going here since I was a baby and always will come here God bless“
“We were working on a job nearby Junior’s Pizza, so my crew and I frequented Junior’s at least once a week. The food is amazing, staff extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommend coming here!Get the chicken bacon/bbq sauce pizza .. it’s super good!!“
“Our family really enjoyed takeout from Teresa's Pizza Box. We tried the classic plain slice and the buffalo chicken slice and both were fresh and delicious. Garlic knots were also outstanding. We're happy to have another great neighborhood pizza option. The staff was very friendly too.“
“Rocco’s is our spot for pizza in my family! In my opinion, it’s the best around! Their Drunken Grandma pie is outstanding! I recently tried the hero and it was equally good. One of my other personal favorites is the “upside down” Sicilian pie!We have also used Rocco’s for catering and they have always come through with delicious food. If you haven’t tried this spot, you won’t be disappointed!“
“One of my favorite pizza spots in all of Huntington. I had a regular slice and a grandma slice today and they were both delicious and pipping hot. Jonny D's is always very clean, and the music is nice. Everyone smiles when you enter as well, that's always a good sign. The photos are of old Huntington from back in the day. Gives you something as a reminder of how far the town has come. I had a great lunch!!!“
“I had a full tray of baked ziti and full tray of chicken cutlet parm delivered through the slice app. The chicken cutlet were so tender and delicious. the trays were packed full and the sauce was one of the best I've had! Thank you so much!!Peggy“
“We recently went to PortoFino with some friends for an early dinner. The new owner, Tony, greeted us and could not have been nicer. We had a terrific dinner, and everything was fantastic. The entire staff were incredible. Great job Tony! We will definitely come back.“
“Little Vincent’s is the best late night pizza in the area. There are limited pizza spots open past 10pm. Even on weekends. We would travel from massapequa for a slice of cold cheese. Variety of pizza by the slice is limited to cold cheese or no cold cheese late night. Also CASH ONLY.The pizza is good but not my favorite. For after hours it’s the best I’ve found.“
“If you are looking for something different give this place a try. I’ve lived here for years and always thought this was another pizzeria. It’s not. They have pizza but more of an authentic homemade style along with many other Italian specialties. Chicken vodka parm hero was amazing. Pasta was the perfect type of al dente. Will be back for sure“
“My family and I were surprised to see some empty tables on Valentine’s Day and even more surprised after we had an amazing dinner. Fresh and delicious food at reasonable prices. Best chicken parm I ever had (tastefully breaded with tender organic chicken), crispy pizzas and fresh/large fish filet portion. Service was friendly and quick. Chef knows what they’re doing back there. Please come and eat here for the sake of yourselves and us because we want this place to last and you will too!“
“Their pizza is soooo good!!! So many different slices to choose from and all fresh! The sit down area is small but has really cool graffiti art on the walls to look at! They play great music and are open pretty late! I would highly recommend this place. It's my go to pizza spot now!“
“This pizza is delicious! Nice crunch crust on the outside, soft inside. Perfect amount of sauce & cheese. They also have a variety of dishes from sandwiches, pastas & other Italian entrees. Definitely be back for another slice & looking forward to trying out their other dishes as well!“
“The owner of D&C apparently learned his craft at Umberto's so I was very tempted to try the Sicilian but Newsday really hyped their "pizza al metro", which is also a different type of rectangular pie. It reminds me of the pizza shops we visited in Rome. Some of the Roman pizza shops would sell "pizza al metro" (pizza by the metre), where they make long sheets of pizza and you would specify what length you wanted based on metres (or partial metres).ORDERING TIP: When ordering a metro pie, you actually get two pizza boxes worth of pizza as you can see from the picture. Each box has 6 above average sized square slices (versus 9 slices you usually get from a Sicilian pie) so keep that in mind when ordering. The squares are a little larger than an average sicilian but they are thinner than at Umberto's so the premium pricing is somewhat justified based purely on size. However, from a taste perspective, I am not so sure because I had a couple of issues with the metro Margherita pizza. First, the sauce to cheese ratio is very skewed towards being very saucy and the sauce is very acidic/tangy, which would not be that bad if there was more cheese providing richness to balance the acidity/tangy. But as you can see from the pics, the cheese is more of an afterthought rather than a co-star. Second, the dough is a bit dense, which I think is strange because it is supposed to be super-high hydration dough. The undercarriage is pretty good and there is a good amount of the bubbles that are characteristic of high hydration dough, but strangely, the airiness through the rest of the dough was missing.Given the owner's background, Ihave to come back and try their Siclian.“
