“Had another great family dinner tonight at the Hurley Mountain Inn! It’s been our family favorite for many years now. Always a good home cooked meal, always great service from folks who make you feel like family. The kids love the games and we joined them for a game of pool. If you are a local to Olive (like us), Hurley, Marbletown, Kingston or the surrounding area and haven’t been (in a bit or ever) or a visitor to the area, take a ride over for a great drink menu and always yummy specials. Thank you Steve and the whole crew for being a place we can count on for a good family night out!”

“We're hanging out at the dive bar down the road and the bartender there recommended we come here for some good drinks. And my oh my were they good. I never believed in the science of mixology or that a mixologist was a skilled tradesmen. But the old man who made our drinks must have been the Gordon Ramsey of Bartending. Your average bartender is a frycook by comparison. I had a few of their signature cocktails as well as a Manhatten and an old fashioned; my go-to drink so I've had a lot of them from a lot of different places, and never in my decades of life have I tasted such a perfectly mixed old fashioned. It was sublime and I doubt I'll taste its equal again in this lifetime unless I find myself in Kingston again and this man happens to be behind the bar once more. He also whipped up some scratch-made eggnog with alcohol and it was exquisite.”

“This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they're doing and what they're talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some Japanese & sushi classics and some twists, and for their prices it's 100% worth it.”

“I've worked in Woodstock for 20+ years. The Garden Cafe is always on my short list of places I like to eat. I recommend it often. I am far from vegan or vegetarian. The quality, consistency, and creativity are just top-notch. I have cut back on dining out the last few years. I visited the Garden Cafe last week and was so happy to see that prices were still modest. This local truly appreciates a great place to eat without being punished in the wallet like I'm a tourist on vacation.”

“Sonder is a hidden gem right on a major street! I cannot believe I hadn’t been here but I’m glad I was able to convince the family to head to a new spot. The meat - chicken, steak and pork belly - were all cooked to absolute perfection and I was VERY impressed particularly by the steak. Loved the Mac n cheese gnocchi and the unique flavors on the ginger risotto. Fun vibes - very hip for the area and who doesn’t love a wine bar with disco balls and a backyard? “This is not your average old school Hudson valley ice cream shop. They take care of you like they are, but they have a modern looking building and menu and great customer service. I’m on a keto diet so I got a burger and hot dog without buns. They might not look enticing from the pictures but they were great and fit right into my diet.Dietary restrictions: They accommodated my keto requests no problem. They even wrapped my burger in lettuce for me.”

“This place has a classic American tavern feel. There is bar seating and table seating. There are a couple of sections (a big back section which is where our group of 11 was seated). Food was delicious and they had a couple of options - bar snacks, appetizers, salads/soup, mains. The price of main entrees run from $20-$30. Service was also great.”

“Best bookstore in Kingston! I'm not a coffee drinker but I do love their hot chocolate. I order the same thing every time I stop by ( Small hot chocolate and a cookie) .This place is super cozy with an awesome selection of books. If you can find a seat on a less busy day your in luck! It's a chill place to meet up with friends or get some work done. Staff is always friendly and helpful. If your new to Kingston definitely check it out it's one of a kind.”

“Everything we had was delicious! The fried quesadillas were like lighter, tastier versions of an empanada and we loved them! Really enjoyed eating a full meal that felt light at a Mexican restaurant. Will definitely be returning whenever we're in town!”

“Laid back atmosphere with good music and a good selection of brews. I went on $5 draft Monday and that is a great value. Got the Kaaterskill IPA and the red IPA (can't remember the name), sampled the Juniper Ridge and ended up leaving with a 4 pack of it. Many restaurants within walking distance as well so you don't have to go far to get a good meal after your visit”

“This place is great and I can't recommend it enough. Not only is the quality of food amazing but the staff and service have always been extremely friendly, welcoming with a non-pretentious attitude. This place is accesible for local Kingston residents, unlike some of the gentrification cafes that have popped up in recent years that cater strictly to tourists or recent, wealthy transplants. The prices here are actually fair- like it doesn't cost $12 for a breakfast sandwich with no meat on it- fair. Very clean and like I said, high quality taste in food. I always get a breakfast sandwich but their lunch options are great too. There is no better place to get a breakfast sandwich in Kingston. I love Fat Cat !”

“We were traveling through on New Year’s Day and looking for coffee. Found this great place open. Warm inviting and what we all need in my opinion. It was a welcome treat to find books on the very topics that had been circling my mind for the last few months right there on the shelves. “Chleo just served us the best pork of my life. Absolutely phenomenal. The potato rosti was almost perfect as well, topped with the most delicious goat cheese spread ever.The gougère were great as well. But those first two blew me away. Classy lighting as well. Wonderful drinks (I had the local Flemish red ale). A new fave in Kingston!”

“We came for a Valentine's evening out on the 15th, much calmer than the 14th! The grilled oyster, scallop, squid, and crispy rice appetizer was tasty. We shared the 5 spice Duck Breast, with cucumber, pear, hoisin sauce and Asian pancake, (the combination of flavors in this dish was outstanding) and Vietnamese grilled Lamb with pickled daikon and carrots. The lamb was cooked perfectly but the pickled veg was jarring against the Thai seasoning of the lamb. Might just get Duck x2 next time :). It was a suddenly snowy evening so we passed on the libations for safety reasons. Overall a wonderful celebration in a beautiful space!Dietary restrictions: The server proactively asked if we had any restrictions or allergies!”

“So fresh and delicious, every single time. Build your own bowl is my go to- the pineapple miso on tuna and crab? Perfection. But my favorite? Hands down the Ramen. The tonkotsu broth is absolutely delicious. The eggs cooked perfectly every time. The bowls are so generously sized. Go down, grab a sake, & have a bowl. If you're lucky enough to arrive when they have the little Portuguese donuts, grab some of those too- you will not be disappointed, I promise.”

“Hey guys.OK so today I decided to give this ice cream store another mean it has been 4 years since I was there last and I got myself of an aluminum chocolate twist to start I actually called to see if they accepted credit cards. And she said yes but there is a little bit of feed use the credit card but that's always nice to know because I don't always carry cash on me.Upon going to the store there was nobody at the window so I went inside and there were 2 lovely young ladies and they were very very helpful um I didn't ask if they had the pumpkin soft serve. She said yes and then when she went over she didn't realize that it wasn't frozen yet so I said not a big deal let me just get a vanilla and chocolate because I had to get back during my job. And I was pleasingly surprised. The ice cream that they physically make there was absolutely delicious. It was smooth creamy and I definitely taste the difference in the flavors. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. And the young ladies were very cheerful and smiling it's always nice to see employees that are helpful and happy in their job I did not get their names but I wanna thank them so much for helping me today. The ice cream was amazing just as I remember it when I was a child.So I wanted to revise my review on them from 4 years ago when I really was not happy with it and it was literally the second time they had made the ice cream for me it was not the first time.I highly recommend going here they have a vast variety of their own milks and ice cream cakes and pies and things like that beautiful store beautiful people very clean and I love a business that keeps their place clean.Thank you For the ice cream it was awesome.Remember have fun with what you're doing and keep it real because you know I do with each and every review.Yours truly.The Real DealWheelchair accessibility: There are absolutely no stairs.
