Thank YOU Mike & Wendy Nolan and staff- shout out to events coordinator Sarah and our server Grace- for the perfect Irondequoit venue to host my daughter’s bridal shower. The rooftop garden was transformed into a beautiful and elegant setting. It may have been one of the warmest days of the year, but the solar panels provided much appreciated shade and the light breeze was wonderful to keep every one of our guests cooler. They buy their frozen 5-gallon buckets from Purity in Ithaca and their soft-serve from Upstate Farms dairy cooperative. Enjoy local! The lines can be long on busy days, but it's worth the wait.

I didn't get a chance to try Purity when we were in Ithaca this summer. Was very happy to try it out near home! Very delicious ice cream flavors, we both tried 3 flavors each in our sundaes. Favorites go to the pumpkin pie, berryblast (i forget the exact name of this one), and banana cream pie.
