“My family and I have been going here for years, probably over a decade, for Filipino food and we love this small family-owned business. We regularly get food for the holidays around here. Some of our faves are their palabok (my mom loves and says unlike some other places here in the US, it tastes like the palabok she'e had in the Philippines), turon, and their camaron rebosado. Definitely a great neighborhood Filipino spot with wonderful staff.”

“I'm very skeptical with Chinese takeout that comes from those Chinese corner stores with menus that offer way too many options (aka as any americanized Chinese food). But when you don't have the luxury of a car and you don't want to pay 40 dollars on UberEats for good Chinese food, you'll be convinced to try your luck in the area. Not gonna lie, I chose Dumpling House because it was the closest Chinese food near me, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. The women who greeted me at the counter was friendly and took my order: one large hot and sour soup and a small house special fried rice. I wouldn't recommend coming on a hot day because the shop can be hot if you're waiting for takeout, but the wait wasn't too long. After about 15 to 20 minutes, I was walking home with $11 dollar takeout. The hot and sour soup is pretty good and I've had a lot of hot and sour soup in my life. The consistency is not too thin or thick and the flavor is balanced (not too sweet or sour). For 5 dollars, I think it's a steal. The house special rice is good and not too greasy. For some reason, it still tasted Americanized even with the Asian ingredients I was used to. There was some chicken, barbecue pork, mixed veggies, egg, etc. and the ingredients mixed well despite it tasting American. Even though I got a small rice, I still had some leftover to eat the next day. Despite my obviously biased Asian tastebuds, I was very happy with what I got and I will definitely be back for some more hot and sour soup!”

Checked them out and the place looks decent, small for a fish store but they have good selection of cooked and fresh seafood. I had my doubts but I'm glad I still tied them coz the food was good! The crabs were over fried or dried out but it had good flavor, I'd bet it would've been amazing if it were super fresh, but they had the fried fish and breaded fried shrimp were really good.The lady was nice enough that she wasn't rushing me while I was looking around and she didn't have an attitude which made me happy coz plenty of places seems to have unfriendly ppl working. She was also happy to assist.I'm glad I found this place close to my place, now we can have fresh good seafood anytime we feel like it. I definitely recommend.”

We couldn’t believe they have Chilean Sea Bass kabobs, and they are only $13 or $20 for a meal. Excellent. As other reviewers have written, this is a hole in the wall find, and I would come all the way to Queens to eat here again! Very near JFK. “This is the best Dunkin Donuts I've been to in my life. I bought some food next door and had no place to sit. I noticed there was seating at this Dunkin and remembered I had enough points for a free beverage. I went in and there were two gentlemen on shift. A younger one and an older one. The younger one was very diligent in mopping the floor. As I was checking out with my free drink and a donut I wanted, the older man noticed something was off (as did I) with the order total. The young man came over and spoke to him in their common language that I didn't understand (not English) to help the older man understand what happened and what buttons to press on the register. The older man paid careful attention to the younger man's instruction. So after I paid, I made my way to sit down across from some young teenager. A high schooler. Before I made it to my seat, the younger employee told me to be careful as I walked back and not slip on the wet floor. I sat down waiting for my drink order. When I got up to get it and fetch a straw, the young man was all like "don't worry, step on through, I'll have this place spotless by the time we close." While I was eating, the man politely asked if the kid could pick up his backpack so he could clean under and around the area. He noticed there was a bat sticking out of the backpack and they got to chatting about what school he went to and position he played; offered some advice. When the kid was about to leave he wished him well and said good luck with high school (because of course...high school y'know). I continued eating my meal and a small child came in with his mother. Again he made sure to get their attention about the wet floor. The small child started taking slow almost tip toeing steps haha. Then another regular customer came in that was Hispanic...they had a small chat. The young employee was telling him that he wants to learn Spanish so he can better communicate with customers. I thought that was cool. As I sat there finishing up my meal, I thought to myself....with everything going on in the world...these two individuals were dead set on excelling on a singular work day. The young man wasn't worried about yesterday or tomorrow or next week, or next month. He was thinking about today and only today and how to make it the best work day for everyone. I could hear it in his voice. The dedication. The whole dichotomy of the two employees I found beautiful. This Dunkin Donuts is an important part of the community, without a doubt. I'm glad I walked in.”

“A very nice smaller restaurant with a bar up front. They close at 1:00 a.m. so I would imagine some of that is mostly the bar crowd although that's not the best location for more. I had a Cuban sandwich my wife had some tacos and we also had some guacamole and chips overall very nice the bill came to $40 including tax it might have been $40.30. 12:50 I think for the tacos 8 or 10 bucks for the nachos nachos/ guacamole and maybe $10 for the Cuban. Cuban was the best Cuban I've had in a long time. Highly recommended I will be posting their menu shortly as well as photos and some short videos.”

“Not sure why the low 2-star rating but my experience at this Starbucks location was good. This Starbucks is located in Terminal 5 next to Gate 24 (JetBlue). When I arrived, there was a short line. It moved quickly. I ordered a tall vanilla latte with coconut milk. It cost $5.50. Yes, it costs more here than your regular Starbucks - people be trippin' in their reviews about how expensive it is. It's an airport. Everything is marked up. I mean a bottle of water is like $3 or $4 at the airport. Anyway, the barista and cashier were both friendly, professional - not to mention fast and efficient. My drink was ready within minutes of ordering.”

“I don't see why this place has such a bad rating!!! I showed up at approximately 5:15 in the morning, greeted very nicely, and took a seat at the bar. Unfortunately, in New York a bar can't serve until 6 AM so I ordered (via QR code) a latte instead. I also ordered breakfast of eggs, bacon,and some home fries and toast and it was delicious... and came out quickly. But the best part had to be after the bar opened. Nicole came on shift. It was like $15. I sat at the bar, but had to buy a drink. The bottles hard apple cider is 11.99 and then you tip and tax that's at least $15. But I like that this place is quieter and more chill than the crazy crowded and loud places closer to all the gates.”
