“It's a very nice little place, they have a live Jazz band on Wednesdays, the drummer also does a karaoke night. He's absolutely fantastic, very funny and no matter how many or little people are there he tries to involve everyone there, it's great.. If you participate you get a little trophy ? you must go at least once.. it really is a little hidden gem!! ??”

“This was one of the top 2 dinners we had both in the City and in the Hamptons this week and was also the least expensive. We couldn’t believe they have Chilean Sea Bass kabobs, and they are only $13 or $20 for a meal. Excellent. Also the dumpling chicken broth dill soup, baklava, hummus, pickles, fries, hot tea- literally everything was fresh and prepared to perfection. As other reviewers have written, this is a hole in the wall find, and I would come all the way to Queens to eat here again! Very near JFK. Service was fairly quick, clientele mostly large families, takes credit cards. Wonderful Israeli/middle eastern cuisine in a very casual atmosphere at very reasonable prices!”

The Door
“From the conversation on the phone with Shamar to the bartending staff, Michael and Andre, whom all were very accommodating. Thanks for making delicious food and keeping "the door" open later. It's very authentic, and we will be coming back often. Cheers!”

Aso Rock
“Love the food at Aso Rock! I normally get the Jollof and fish and it never disappoints. I tried the fufu and veggies today and loved it! The customers sitting next to me raved about the boneless goat head with white rice which I will try next time. The owner appreciated that I knew much about the culture and food since I am not African. The other customers also appreciated my knowledge of the culture and treated me to a free plum wine which I also enjoyed. I normally have a good experience here and will definitely return!!!!”

“Saw this place when I went to a place a cross the street, caught my eye coz I've been craving for good fried fish. Checked them out and the place looks decent, small for a fish store but they have good selection of cooked and fresh seafood. I had my doubts but I'm glad I still tied them coz the food was good! The crabs were over fried or dried out but it had good flavor, I'd bet it would've been amazing if it were super fresh, but they had the fried fish and breaded fried shrimp were really good. The lady was nice enough that she wasn't rushing me while I was looking around and she didn't have an attitude which made me happy coz plenty of places seems to have unfriendly ppl working. She was also happy to assist.I'm glad I found this place close to my place, now we can have fresh good seafood anytime we feel like it. I definitely recommend.”
“They have a bar the drinks are good loved the hospitality the people were real nice to me didn't expect such good treatment. I had to look twice to see if I was really in a Spanish restaurant. ??”

“Went to Home Depot and saw Taco Bell right across the street so I definitely had to try it. I preordered for pick up and it was ready within minutes. The inside is clean and the staff were nice. The only thing is that there is no parking.”
“This place is incredible. Unbelievable flavors and I am shocked at the level of service and price as well. It is much better than other places and they consistently deliver quality food time and time again. I hope they can maintain the level of excellence as it feels too good to be true to have this local gem available to us. Protect and support this restaurant at all costs!”
“I have lived in Jamaica all of my life, passed this place on several occasions. I decide to order today for a work luncheon. I had the best Guacamole ever. The tacos were fresh and the Guacamole tastes like he just made it outside our door. It as the best Taco experience ever had. If you like Tacos and Guacamole, this is it! SN: Order through Grubhub”
“I ordered for delivery the shrimp with garlic sauce and it reminded me as if I was eating lobster in butter sauce ?. The shrimp was very fresh and the sauce is buttery, garlicky yumminess. Delicious!! Thank you Los Almuerzos for making my belly smile.”
“Immaculately clean, very fair prices, and HUGE portions. Quality is better than the local Mexican restaurants. The hours are perfect for late nighters and for working folks who need a satisfying meal to start an early day. It's cash only. Really, really delicious food.”
“I really came here for the Tanoshii AÇAÍ BOWL & I am no vegan but I had to try the VEGAN PHILLY ?? both gave and was incredibly delicious. The fruits were fresh and frozen so you really get to enjoy each and every bite ? I would call ahead of time just to avoid the wait, but the staff was friendly. So happy to have found a place out here in Queens where I can get my Açaí bowl. I be here a few times a week on my lunch break lol ??????”
“My family and I have been going here for years, probably over a decade, for Filipino food and we love this small family-owned business. We regularly get food for the holidays around here. Some of our faves are their palabok (my mom loves and says unlike some other places here in the US, it tastes like the palabok she'e had in the Philippines), turon, and their camaron rebosado. Definitely a great neighborhood Filipino spot with wonderful staff.”
“Had a overnight layover and searched Google for best breakfast near me next morning. Not far from JFK. Busy spot (food is great) service is great and fast. Clean place. I dined in. Simple neighborhood type 4 or 6 indoor long table layout for eating. The food was great. Eggs, bacon, pancakes with a coffee. I would definitely eat there again. I highly recommend it.”

“I'm very skeptical with Chinese takeout that comes from those Chinese corner stores with menus that offer way too many options (aka as any americanized Chinese food). But when you don't have the luxury of a car and you don't want to pay 40 dollars on UberEats for good Chinese food, you'll be convinced to try your luck in the area. Not gonna lie, I chose Dumpling House because it was the closest Chinese food near me, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. The women who greeted me at the counter was friendly and took my order: one large hot and sour soup and a small house special fried rice. I wouldn't recommend coming on a hot day because the shop can be hot if you're waiting for takeout, but the wait wasn't too long. After about 15 to 20 minutes, I was walking home with $11 dollar takeout. The hot and sour soup is pretty good and I've had a lot of hot and sour soup in my life. The consistency is not too thin or thick and the flavor is balanced (not too sweet or sour). For 5 dollars, I think it's a steal. The house special rice is good and not too greasy. For some reason, it still tasted Americanized even with the Asian ingredients I was used to. There was some chicken, barbecue pork, mixed veggies, egg, etc. and the ingredients mixed well despite it tasting American. Even though I got a small rice, I still had some leftover to eat the next day. Despite my obviously biased Asian tastebuds, I was very happy with what I got and I will definitely be back for some more hot and sour soup!”
“1 of a few neighborhood oriental storefront restaurant/ delivery in Queens. I went because of flyer/ menu in hotel lobby severable, but walkable, blocks away.3 booths for those choosing to eat ”
“What I like about this place is it's very well maintained unlike these other restaurants. It's very clean and well kept. The food is good. I didn't come here in a while because of the previous owner who was very bias and unprofessional. The service is ok could be better .”
“My family has been going here from the earliest days! They even know our order without telling them. There food is delicious and enjoyable. They are professional and would recommend to anybody.”
“Hands down the best Colombian restaurant in the NYC. I’m Colombian but don’t live in NYC. I have stopped at several Colombian restaurants in different areas every time I come to NYC to visit or during layovers to international destinations, this one is the most authentic and I truly felt like in a restaurant in Bogota. I LOVED the food, service and prices. The empanadas were FANTASTIC. Probably the best I’ve had in the U.S. in general. The bandeja paisa and the beans were to die for. Best beans I’ve had! The flavor and seasoning of everything was on point. The pandebonos were perfectly made. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. I miss Colombia daily and this place made me feel like I was home.”
“This was one of a few Chinese restaurants I have tried since moving to Queens and so far, it's one of the best I've had. Will most definitely be ordering from here ”
“Today wasmy first time buying at this place. I read the reviews and it wasn't good but being the offspring of a chinese chef, there are certain things you become privy to. That said i ordered shrimp with vegetables and steamed rice. To me it was perfect... not salty at all which is synonymous with chinese food. Chinese people are generally quiet, blunt and extremely reserved individuals thats why sometimes they come off as seemingly rude. And as for the ambience....what can i say... its your typical chinese hole in the wall shop.... but it definitely does not mean they are nasty or the food is nasty! "All that glitters is not gold" #foodforthought”
“This is my second favorite Chinese food in the area so I go here sometimes just to mix it up. Never been disappointed so if it's near by I can definitely recommend this for Chinese take out.I did see that they have "everyday specials" which seem like a REALLY good deal so I am looking forward to trying that on my next visit!”
“This place has the best cassava ball in town. The aroma of fresh food hits you in the face as you walk through the door and there is always something exceptional about friendly and polite service. Try this place for good soul food. My handsome adventure date goes there often and gets delicious food and treats; they have real coconut water in the bottle and many dishes to choose from. I would improve on the decor a bit but it's clean and smells like yummy food and goodies. Try it out for yourself.”
“I couldn't recommend this homemade tiffins service more highly! The food is so fresh and healthy, the dishes delicious and varied each week, and my husband and I always marvel at how great we feel after these meals -- nothing like our (beloved but) heavy Indian take-out in the neighborhood. Especially during quarantine, this has been a true godsend. The chef is so talented, and we love that it's a local family business. Plus amazing customer service, and it's completely customizable week to week, so zero commitment. Highly suggest!!”
“Off the CHAIN...they already know...I'm coming back. Corn Bread ua FIRE for starter....like a good movie I ain't gonna ruin for ya...you gotta check it out. If you like to eat FOOD cooked up with LOVE..you can taste the Love...fire ♥️♥️♥️???P S. You gotta go inside and Downstairs in the Food Court. Very Clean”

“For an airport? This was amazing. Definitely expensive but it's worth it in my opinion. Had the chicken Parm sandiwch, fries and a pepsi, tho you can get tap water for free. With tip and taxes it was 40$. But to get mediocre airport food, Id rather pay extra and get good food.”

“Unfortunately I loved out of this neighborhood but this was always my favorite place to go for a breakfast sandwich besides the avenue diner which is now closed. I always still think about my eggs sandwiches from this place and how no matter where else I go, nothing compares. If you want a great and tasty sandwich, this is the place to go!”
“I love this Tim Hortons, everything is always fresh and the staff is always so nice. I have one by my apartment and I've only ordered from it once, it was my first and last time I ever got anything from there. I was hesitant at first to get something from this one but I'm very happy I did and so are my son's.. LOL.. Every Thursday I stop on my way home from work and get a dozen donuts. This is something I plan to continue as long as I can.. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!”
“I came here about 2 weeks ago - the food was absolutely delicious! I loved eating there, the atmosphere was wonderful. I got their breakfast special, apparently there is one less item there - but the food was still lit!”
“They care about the food they serve here. Fresh and delicious. Friendly service and mouthwatering wraps. Can’t wait to go back and try their various sandwich options! Strongly recommend.”
“Very good service very good food this is the only food establishment that is open 24 hours in this whole area. Just make sure to call ahead before ordering at night sometimes it gets busy.”
“Love Love Love this store!!!! It is so clean, and organized. Literally what ever your craving is,or you don't want to deal with the supermarket vibes I'm sure your needs and want will be fulfilled. And the owner as well as the staff are what makes it my one and only neighborhood store.”
“Amazing food and very decently priced! My breakfast spot I come to 5-6 days a week. Everything on the menu is halal. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing!”
“Good food! This is better than your average halal cart. Chicken & lamb were not dry and was marinated well with different spices, enhancing the flavor. Only thing missing was the lack of enough salt in the chicken/lamb. Price was reasonable as well ($6 for platter with water). I have tried the other carts in the area but they are not as good in terms of quality and taste of the food.”
“I frequent this superb place from time to time as I like the special air that is characterizes this restaurant. The personel is extraordianrillyremarkably friendly and experienced. The service is awfully quick. Not to mention, the food they prepare is good. I ate there many times and I was always satisfied. The payment is modest. I recommend this place to my friends and family.”
“I love this deli habibi ,deff would recommend it,they reminds me of the perfect though of a New York city ?️? deli and boom that's dem ,hot delicious food, good price, and they are 24/7!! yup if your in the area and your waiting on your plane @JFK airport ,witch is right down the street at least 3 blocks away ,the Q6 bus ? will take you in and out of there.”
“They make amazing ? heroes. I like the Philly cheesesteak, especially and the price extremely reasonable. You can call ahead and just pick it up, no wait.Parking: Parking you will find it on the street but it is free, if you park on the other side of the taxi service. I definitely would not go at 3 pm. When the elementary school is letting out.”
“Thanks for all that you Do! Outstanding ? customer service. The foods are always prepared with love; much continued success Inshallah. DR.SHAHID WARRIOR OF ALLAH BKNY ? ✨️ ❤️”

“I moved to Queens a few months ago and this was the first spot I ever ate at up here. When I say that food blew my mfkn socks off, they got the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time!! Always hot flavorful and delicious… I seriously can’t get enough!!”
“Simple, no frills Popeyes located inside the food court of the casino. They serve chicken meals, chicken sandwiches and the normal sides.Had a 4pc chicken meal, and the chicken was tasty, the side (Mac n’Cheese) was delicious, and the biscuit was fine. Overall good experience.”
“I'd rate the food about 7/10Ordered:crunch red ball(sushi) - Came 'fridge' cold but was neither bad nor exceptional.spring rolls - Exceeded my expectations, they came hot temperature-wise and was very nice :D 9.5/10Orange juice - pretty good, price justified for a big cupNew york cheesecake - It's nice, biscuit base was soft. “Lance was very accommodating and friendly. The Irish coffee he made was one of the best I’ve had! I would definitely return to Bobby Van’s just because of the service provided. Cheers lance!”

“My HB deli best in the area. Neighborhood deli for neighborhood people. Ran by people who live in the area. The owner knows your name and order when you walk in if you're a regular. Also the prices are best in the area. Way to go My HB Deli!!”
“I had to write about this Subway location...my favorite location in the Springfield Gardens area. The attendants are always welcoming. They are attentive to you as they prepare for sandwich. I'm dieting and get a sub once a week. They are ALWAYS friendly and upbeat. Even when it's crowded and in dealing with the young-uns after school. Kudos to you all for maintaining a nice spot in my neighborhood.”
“From the conversation on the phone with Shamar to the bartending staff, Michael and Andre, whom all were very accommodating. Thanks for making delicious food and keeping "the door" open later. It's very authentic, and we will be coming back often. Cheers!”
“Good food and better prices. Service has been good too. The atmosphere is a bit old and sometimes the air is musty…But food has always been the same “steady” which is good. Excellent lunch specials. Traditional and simple.”
“The food is Amazing!! The grits are always made to perfection. I always order a veggie omelette and grits from Uber eats and is always good every time. I just had to leave a review . Would post a picture but I couldn't wait lol . Y'all just have to try for yourselves;)”

“Honestly, the food is not the best. However, the tiny staff is very friendly and attentive, as us Richie himself. He has a nice display of music memorabilias. It is a very comfortable neighborhood cafe. It is also very convenient, be next to the 169th F train subway station.”

Xinbao
“Xin Bao is my local Chinese takeout spot & I order nearly every day for lunch. The veggies have great variety and are never overcooked, the "House" brown sauce isn't too salty, & the protein always tastes great! My 2 favorites are the shrimp with broccoli & the beef with mixed veggies (they also offer "Chinese veggies" as an option, always clarify which one you want). Sometimes I order my special: beef with onions and mushrooms (not on the menu).Xin Bao is reasonably priced, though they have a slightly more expensive dinner menu.I always get the hot mustard & "duck sauce"and egg roll with my meal.Politeness goes a long way, treating the people at the window respectfully & politely has never caused any issues for me with their customer service or willingness to make changes to the food I order.Food 4.5/5Service 4/5Ease of ordering 5/5Menu options 4.7/5**I recommend calling your order in first & having them confirm it.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies served whenever you ask for "mixed" veggies option. House brown sauce is gingery and delicious.Parking: Around the corner on 140th ST. Mainly used by the nail salon guests.”
“Whoever it was that cook my ribs on 11/29/23 did a great job! They were tender, juicy, fresh and half a step from falling off the bone. Much improved from the last time I visited Smoke a few years ago. The mac & cheese was ok, it could use some seasonings in preparation; cornbread, small but very good. I will be returning to try some other items.... definitely will order the ribs again.I used the parking at the rear of the restaurant. Thanks for a great meal!”
“My first time coming in… I was greeted by two young ladies and they were very nice to me. I ordered the chicken soup to go (they have many different kinds on certain days). It was neatly packed and came with lime, chips and the best avocado sauce I’ve ever had!!It was delightful. Veggies were cooked well and so was the chicken. I certainly will be coming again.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“I'm in memories missing ally NY favorites and though of this. Definitely back in the day my favorite place for chicken wings and french fries. Amazing to see them still in place ? #”
“I’ve always liked this Popeyes. Last visit I was charged extra $1.50 for Mac and cheese. Kind of unfair considering the neighborhood. No other Popeyes nearby charge this. Guess that’s why there’s no longer a line around the corner like it used to be. Do better ?Parking: There are usually spots available. Handicapped parking is near the door, but sometimes you can get blocked in if the drive thru line is long. BewareKid-friendliness: There are typically after-school kids here around 3pm. Two grade schools located nearby.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is ground level, but there is no automatic door. People are courteous, so if someone is around they may hold a door for you.”
“Wednesday January 24 I was hungry looking something different to eat so I went into this restaurant accompanied by my cousin in Jamaica Avenue queens so we asked the cashier to serve us something with chicken and vegetables omg and she ordered something I couldn't believe that something was so pleasantly prepare I was missing I normally would eat at McDonald's so as of now it's goodbye McDonald's hello taco bell I went to Manhattan 42 st looking for taco bell today so I will find taco bell everytimes I'm in Jamaica queens”
“This is the best Dunkin Donuts I've been to in my life. I bought some food next door and had no place to sit. I noticed there was seating at this Dunkin and remembered I had enough points for a free beverage. I went in and there were two gentlemen on shift. A younger one and an older one. The younger one was very diligent in mopping the floor. As I was checking out with my free drink and a donut I wanted, the older man noticed something was off (as did I) with the order total. The young man came over and spoke to him in their common language that I didn't understand (not English) to help the older man understand what happened and what buttons to press on the register. The older man paid careful attention to the younger man's instruction. So after I paid, I made my way to sit down across from some young teenager. A high schooler. Before I made it to my seat, the younger employee told me to be careful as I walked back and not slip on the wet floor. I sat down waiting for my drink order. When I got up to get it and fetch a straw, the young man was all like "don't worry, step on through, I'll have this place spotless by the time we close." While I was eating, the man politely asked if the kid could pick up his backpack so he could clean under and around the area. He noticed there was a bat sticking out of the backpack and they got to chatting about what school he went to and position he played; offered some advice. When the kid was about to leave he wished him well and said good luck with high school (because of course...high school y'know). I continued eating my meal and a small child came in with his mother. Again he made sure to get their attention about the wet floor. The small child started taking slow almost tip toeing steps haha. Then another regular customer came in that was Hispanic...they had a small chat. The young employee was telling him that he wants to learn Spanish so he can better communicate with customers. I thought that was cool. As I sat there finishing up my meal, I thought to myself....with everything going on in the world...these two individuals were dead set on excelling on a singular work day. The young man wasn't worried about yesterday or tomorrow or next week, or next month. He was thinking about today and only today and how to make it the best work day for everyone. I could hear it in his voice. The dedication. The whole dichotomy of the two employees I found beautiful. This Dunkin Donuts is an important part of the community, without a doubt. I'm glad I walked in.”
“It was a rainy day and was pleased I got to park at the front door. I had a coupon and the staff were friendly and answered my food choice questions. Premises were clean, didn't wait long for my order. Food was fresh and delicious. My family loved it! Definitely will add this place to my favorites.??Parking: There are about three spots infront of the establishment.Kid-friendliness: I went there with my son. Friendly staff.”
“I don't normally review food chains but had to shout out this checkers. The kitchen is extremely clean, the food tasted fresh and was well made, the burger was not sloppily made like other fastfood joints. The cashier was also friendly.”
“Checkers is always good, and the counterman is excellent! He really cares about you and tries very hard to make sure you get what you want on your burger!Plus the prices are less than their neighboring fast food joints. If you like bacon, you'll love Checkers!Wheelchair accessibility: Yeah, I think so.”

“Convenient location at the end of F Train Last Stop. This place also provides kids playground during the weekend, morning hours. Use McDonald's app for better deals, and they also provide table service.”
“Went in about 2 weeks ago and saw a roach race across the prep area floor and decided not to go back again for awhile, when I did go back they had the place cleaned considerably.”
“The best thing about this Carvel are the people who work there. My son asked for a medium chocolate cone and I swear the guy working there made it seem like an extra large, my son's eyes lid up when he saw it. Unfortunately most of it landed on his shirt and my car!”
“Be sure to check out McFullery! Try it. It's absolutely delicious. If you ask for toppings, they will give it to you, so try it that way^^ The staff is friendly!”
“I actually love the taste of the regular coffee with a few pumps of the French vanilla. I also love their croissants. You have to eat the croissant immediately as it tends to get a bit hard after being out of their toaster.”
“I ordered Happy Meals for my daughter’s class and had amazing service. Edith was phenomenal and even took the time to label girls and boys toys. Everything was great and she had the meals prepared on time with no delay. I would recommend this branch as they are efficient, clean and accommodating.Kid-friendliness: They had an amazing selection of kids toys for the Happy Meals.”
“Loved itKid-friendliness: They have kids' meals because they were sold to us.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get on or off the curb to enter and exit the restaurant.”

“Love this place. The portions size is big. The large plate would feed 2 or 3 people. The food tastes great. And the price is slightly cheaper than other Jamaican restaurants in NYC. The service is kinda slow, so order beforehand but overall, love this place.”
“This place has the best options in terminal eight. They had fresh fruit salad and an eggplant Panini. They also had bananas and cookies so in general some really good healthy options. I recommend this over the other two places just because you get a Variety. They also have really big fresh muffins, croissants, yogurt, cookies, and even fresh french fries. Honest and friendly. Love their eggplant panini extra hot pressed.”

“Yoooooooo this place is so fire. Got off the plane and was driving to airport. I wanted to hit a deli and Yelp brought me here. I got the chopped cheese witb jalapeños and a Jamaican beef patty. They put love into their food. Even the people I was with were so happy”
“I've been going to Foo On for about 23 years from the time I was a child to an adult. The food is by far amazing compared to other local Chinese restaurants. The only way I can describe it as that other places taste good, but lack that final push over into a euphoric state of being. Foo On gives that feeling. It did use to be better years ago but I understand the chef changed, Regardless The Lo Mein is delicious, Fried Rice can be 90/10 somedays its amazing, somedays its not as amazing. Chicken, Beef, Pork, are all amazing.Shrimp is ok. General Tso is delicious.Chicken Wings are on point. Price is a really good, Tax is included so no surprises, what you see is what you pay.”
“Been eating here since i was little the food has always been amazing . The guys who run the store are real cool too. Way better than any other deli nearby 10/10 would ”
“The food at this restaurant is authentically Jamaican. I had a boat ride last year in Freeport, Long Island. The owner/chef not only delivered the food to my boatride but also helped to set up. This is by far some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. My guests raved about the food all night. This review is long overdue and I just realized that I hadn't written one. Better late than never I suppose! ?”
“Ok so this place is in this odd building off of JFK, looks like an office building. The coffee place is not very visible, but it's there. Might look a little jank from the outside but, trust me, just go in, you'll see the food & snacks & coffee.I had a very hearty pernil sandwich. Coffee is very good (they roast it themselves). I feel like I found a closet that leads to the Narnia of humble breakfast/lunch spots. Will definitely be coming back whenever I land in JFK.Vegetarian options: They have a veg sandwich”
“Great sports bar, I was visiting family from out of town and found Pregame Sports Bar & Lounge. Got to watch my team, while drinking some beverages the food was good and my game was on, excellent spot.”
“Little Ceasars itself I'm not that much of a fan of but I had a craving for it on this day. Overall the service was nice. As busy as it was the guy behind the counter didn't seem frustrated or thar he didn't care. Food came out fresh and fast. When I got home it was made to perfection. I told myself that I was only going to have just 2 slices that evening that ended turning into the whole pie.”
“It was great I got the General Tso dish the large plate for take out and the portion was big for what I believe was around $13, the staff was direct and it took around 10-15mins for it to be done which I find reasonable if they’re making it fresh! Define toy coming back.”
“The best Chinese food since I was a child! Very friendly and courteous to customers and not stingy at all with food portions. Every time I come back up to visit New York, getting food from here is a must!”
“The best! We use them for ice cream parties at work.....the giant tubs of ice cream....so fresh and delicious! Rum Raisin is the best! Prices are great and they give the best, friendly fast service!”
“Ordered from this place over the weekend, and I wasn't really impressed to be honest. I originally ordered oxtail with Rasta pasta and homemade ginger beer only to get a call 2 minutes later telling they didn't have Rasta pasta OR the homemade ginger beer. I had to get Mac and cheese instead. I won't lie they DEFINITELY made up for it because they gave me TWO drinks and a large oxtail instead of the medium I originally asked for. The food wasn't bad, the mac and cheese was oily...it wasn't anything I'd jump and holler for....but the customer service was good. They also packaged the food VERY well making sure none of it spilled which I also appreciated!”
“The food is very good and they have a variety to chose.Prices are competitive.I recommend this place to any one who wants to enjoy authentic Guatemalan food. The place keeps the standards from the health department. They have an A.”
“It's the only fried chicken place in the neighborhood so prices are higher than what you'd get at a Kennedy fried chicken. Nonetheless the chicken is pretty good and it comes out pretty fast once you order. The place looks very clean as well.”
“My wife got a Panini from this location and I have to say that it was excellent. I really enjoyed it. I would definitely like to try other things from their menu.”
“The food was delicious and fresh. I will definitely be back. The owner was mad cool and had a lot of personality. My aunt loved the whiting, shrimp and French fries. I enjoyed the Porgy sandwich. This is the spot to go to in the area for fresh home cooked well seasoned seafood. Wait time about 20 mins well worth it!!!!! IF U KNOW GOOD FRIED FISH YOU WILL DEFINITELY BECOME A LOYAL CUSTOMER. I KNOW I AM”

“I stopped by in the morning before my flight at around 7 AM. The Google operating time is wrong. They have a coffee muffin deal for $5 and a sandwich, chips, and bottled water deal to go for $15. With tip and tax it was about 25 which will get me through breakfast and lunch!I think this is very reasonable for an airport and the food was better than most to-go premade food options in the airport. Only thing not for a five stars (granted this is airport food) is that it looked like it had not been cleaned from the night before. Service was friendly though and there was not a line given it’s at the end of the terminal (and not Dunkin).”
“Salmon dish came out better than expected! Asparagus was good too even if a bit heavier on the oil. Was looking around for a healthier sit down meal in Terminal 5 and glad I gave this a try, would definitely get it againOrdered via QR code at around 12:30pm, food came out in ~30min - make sure to ask for water when you get your food ?”

“The meal I had here was pretty good. The burger was juicy and I appreciated that condiments came on the side. Service was nice and not pushy. There is enough light here so you can see everything.”

“For airport food this was pretty good! I got the breakfast quesadilla and it wasn’t bad at all, I just wish it also came with sour cream. What I liked is how quick & easy it was to order online and how quickly the food was ready. Also the quantity of the food was comparable to what you’d get in a restaurant outside of the airport. Also the customer service was pretty good.”

“Your only spot for higher-end dining in Terminal 7. With the patience required for any airport restaurant, this more than fits the bill. My Coors Light was fresh and breezy. The cauliflower salad with salmon was perfect before a long flight. Friendly service.”
“Where I go for a last minute pre-boarding snack. Not as crowded as other places, it’s really just a hole in the wall to stores to the right of king Starbucks. Muffins are good, and, of course, over priced. Can’t complain about eggs because you have to be crazy to buy eggs here. Service is pleasant.”

“A very nice smaller restaurant with a bar up front. They close at 1:00 a.m. so I would imagine some of that is mostly the bar crowd although that's not the best location for more. I had a Cuban sandwich my wife had some tacos and we also had some guacamole and chips overall very nice the bill came to $40 including tax it might have been $40.30. 12:50 I think for the tacos 8 or 10 bucks for the nachos nachos/ guacamole and maybe $10 for the Cuban. Cuban was the best Cuban I've had in a long time. Highly recommended I will be posting their menu shortly as well as photos and some short videos.”
“Best Guyanese Chinese food in Queens NY it's a must have whenever I visit NY and in Queens I always call and order then pick up food is delicious and I love the fried chicken. Do check them out whenever you're in the area”
“The food here is amazing, fantastic even I would say the best. The Chicken Fried rice is really good and has tons of flavor with it without or without it's sauce.”
“I love this place! The food is consistently good. Once there was a misunderstanding over some soup, but the Chef heard my issue and made it right. I left with a smile because he saw my point of view! ?”
“Oh lawd! This food is truly amazing, I really love it. I am bigwells biggest supporter and I 1000% recommend to anyone getting food on the ave. They not only have amazing food but they have amazing pastries. Please check them out!”
“The calypso burger was amazing but the chop cheese burger was a 7/10.Their wings and sweet potatoes was a 10/10.However you have to wait a long while before you receive your food.”

“Not sure why the low 2-star rating but my experience at this Starbucks location was good. This Starbucks is located in Terminal 5 next to Gate 24 (JetBlue). When I arrived, there was a short line. It moved quickly. I ordered a tall vanilla latte with coconut milk. It cost $5.50. Yes, it costs more here than your regular Starbucks - people be trippin' in their reviews about how expensive it is. It's an airport. Everything is marked up. I mean a bottle of water is like $3 or $4 at the airport. Anyway, the barista and cashier were both friendly, professional - not to mention fast and efficient. My drink was ready within minutes of ordering.”
“Not bad. Has better prices than many other McDonald's I've patronized. (I thought McDonald's, as with all other fast food restaurants had universal pricing).”
“Amazing food and very decently priced! My breakfast spot I come to 5-6 days a week. Everything on the menu is halal. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing!”
“Always wanted to write a review for this place since moving to this location, the food at this McDonald's is really good, Always & always it is served fresh and hot drive through or in person, it really feels like to be made with care.Sometimes waiting is long but that's understandable, this place is in high demand.I really like the food at this place.”
“It Wendy's guys, we know what to expect. Still miss the Bourbon Bacon Jam, which it was a permanent addition to the menu as a continent you can add to your order.”
“I don't see why this place has such a bad rating!!! I showed up at approximately 5:15 in the morning, greeted very nicely, and took a seat at the bar. Unfortunately, in New York a bar can't serve until 6 AM so I ordered (via QR code) a latte instead. I also ordered breakfast of eggs, bacon, and some home fries and toast and it was delicious... and came out quickly. But the best part had to be after the bar opened. Nicole came on shift. Let me tell you, you want this woman to be your bartender! She is so friendly, attentive, and HILARIOUS! I definitely enjoyed my time waiting for my flight because of Nicole! Kudos!”
“Loved itKid-friendliness: They have kids' meals because they were sold to us.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get on or off the curb to enter and exit the restaurant.”
“We go there casually to order in and stay for a bit. It's always busy with delivery orders and other customers but they never disappoint in cleanliness and service.Always kind workers and even in rush hour gets the job done. The food is always hot and correct and if it's wrong they immediately fix the issue at hand. Parking is usually available, big open space and there's also a drive thru.”
“The drive thru, at times, doesn't get the order right.Vegetarian options: Salads and potato optionDietary restrictions: SaladParking: The tow trucks sit and wait to get you. You only have a few minutes to park. It's always chaotic and tight. There is no space and no time for parking. You must ALWAYS have a second person with you.”
“The Oxtails, rice, and cabbage is my favorite dish! The best Oxtails in Queens! I used to go to Yardies. Your food has NEVER gave me indigestion so that's worth 10 stars. Thanks Smokehouse chefs and staff. ”
“Best place to get Soul-Food. The wait may be long but the service is awesome. I been going to Rockaway fish house for years. My grandmother worked there with her good friend and owner Mr. Charlie, when Carmichael dinner closed down. If you want some good down SOUL-FOOD YOU have to give Rockaway fish house ”
“Not sure what all of the bad reviews are about, because when I went here it was not bad at all. I got the udon, and it wasn't the best, but it was definitely very good for a typical Asian fast food place. The food was ready in about 6 minutes, so great service. Atmosphere wasn't the best because it was in an airport.”
“It's on the corner of the J & E- Trains trains station. Outside. ??I haven't been inside and some day I will try their Slushy Drink and freshly cooked chicken?maybe even have it my way?Wheelchair accessibility: Must pull door.”
“I got the chicken "kebab" (The chicken wasn't cubes on a stick. It was shredded chicken meat. It was still good.) Got it from the Greek part of the food court, called Dromos. Asked for sauce on the side. I had to ask in person, bc You can't input that in the kiosk. unfortunately, he couldn't hear me. And was too busy making an order before I could tell him before he made my order. The food was surprisingly good and tasted healthy and clean. And was surprisingly affordable for air port food. It was like $15. I sat at the bar, but had to buy a drink. The bottles hard apple cider is 11.99 and then you tip and tax that's at least $15. But I like that this place is quieter and more chill than the crazy crowded and loud places closer to all the gates.”
“Lance was very accommodating and friendly. The Irish coffee he made was one of the best I’ve had! I would definitely return to Bobby Van’s just because of the service provided. Cheers lance!”
