I Was Stuck On A Bus For An Extra 30 Minutes After It Had To Detour Because Of An Accident Then Another Detour Because Of Construction On The Van Wyck Expressway. I Had To Go To The Bathroom And Catch A Connecting Long Island Bus. I Saw 2 Restaurants. I Went Inside La Playita. I Explained To The 2 Ladies Behind The Counter,I Just Had To Pee And I Would Purchase A Soda. I Thanked The Ladies And Caught My Long Island Bus.
La Neuva Playita has decent Peruvian cuisine near the main train & subway station. I had the broiled chicken combination plate for lunch, which was pret4ty good. Service was reasonably quick for a weekday.
