Excellent service and the food taste marvelous I give them a five star.Vegetarian options: Reggae Taste has a lot to offer toVegetarian, especially pescatarians. The seafood variety is very wide at Reggae Taste and I assure you if you like fish, you will get a wide variety of fish dishes at Reggae Taste.

This place was a good place to go and get food once upon a time. Now where do I start, the service is slow and the prices have gone through the roof, I ordered a small chicken breast strips with white rice and veg and I was charged $18. There is no value in the amount of food given and the price anymore at this place. I'm definitely not going back here, it's not like its located in Korea where they might be one Jamaican restaurant for god sakes its on Merrick Blvd in Jamaica, Queens where Jamaican restaurants are in abundance. The only reason I decided to go because I was next door and I wanted to support the establishment, but never again!

Being that I can't speak with a manager because apparently no one knows who im talking about or referring too, I'll just leave a comment here. I went into Reggae's Taste today, and I've been to this restaurant a couple of times before . Every time I come here, I have a joyful experience when dealing with Mr. Morris and an older brown skin lady with glasses and some of the other employees it's always a pleasant moment. But today when I came in I happen to have a guy by the name of Jerome at least that's what he told me his name was short light skin guy with glasses and a beard made my food and no matter how many smiles I had on my face or how much I was joking like I usually do trying to lighten up the moment. He just remained straight face as if like there was some sort of issue. So i told him he should smile thats good customer service and in return he tells me with an attitude so because im not smiling im not giving good customer service?...YES thats excalty what i mean smiling and being positive is apart of customer service and the attitude with him remain then on top of that he overcharged me not paying attention so i ask for a full refund after all of this. It's a damn shame that i want the proper customer service where i spend my money at I shouldn't have to go through this. I prefer to have awesome customer service and it's unfortunate this time has messed up my experience of coming to this establishment because of someone who decides not to smile and have an attitude and to overcharged me because the same person decided not to not pay attention to what he was doing because of my experience today I will not be going back there again. Thanks a lot, Jerome and I'll make sure to let everybody in the community know it's crazy because I love to support my own people businesses but just cause we the same color don't mean I don't deserve proper customer service and respect.

Ordered the large curry goat with white rice, large rasta pasta with j*** chicken, large order of j*** pork (by itself) and 2 tropical rhythm which the charge came out to be $75.86 for all that was mentioned... didn't mind it bcuz it was a favorite spot of mine but couldn't remember why it stop being so until I started eating the j*** chicken... I don't know where the chef that made the j*** food learned to make that food but nothing about it smelled like j*** seasoning and it did not taste like it either - surprising to say that I HAD to throw away both j*** meals... the curry goat and white rice was pretty good so I have no issues with it... if the rest of my overcharged food was just as good as the curry goat I would've just left it at that but as I had to walk from my table to the garbage bin I got more enraged and just had to write this review.
I had worked here briefly undocumented a few years ago, hired by the asshole who owns the business. However, he had the payroll do his dirty job.I got fired because I followed the police to ask for ID when collecting payment with credit cards.So this asshole who claimed he owns a business nearby "I think it is a car repair shop" wanted a relationship but he was not my type" had refused to show his ID when makinga payment with a credit card "according to their policy".He started shouting, threatening me saying dirty words, and intimidating me OMG.I went and get the owner, who shook the boy's "customer's" hand and apologized, and did not charge the boy. The boy who claimed he own a business nearby insisted that the owner fired me or he will never order food in his store.He said it about 100 times before he left the store. The next day I was out of a job. I have bills to pay and a daughter to feed.I got fired and was told if I do not return my uniform I will not get paid.The payroll lady was upset and confused but have to hide her feelings behind closed doors to keep her job according to her.His niece who worked there and served the owner food hates him and says nasty words behind his back.I was so hurt that in 2022 I drove past and realized that I am still hurt. I am talking about many years ago and it still hurts.Karma is a bitch to the Customer Boy and the Owner of this restaurant.I hope you stop hiring undocumented people.Karma!!!!!

16$ plate! Stopped by right before closing so I think they were out of the popular options. The food was okay - a lil too much butter for my taste. The shrimp was good but for 16$ I would probably get something of more value at a different place.
