I want to love this place, but for $16 for some steamed salmon and vegetables, I just cannot get with the times. With the QV area, your late night options are either the Crown Fried Chicken across the street, or this location - while it is the healthier option, your budget may not have the flexibility to enjoy fresh, steamed food to consume. If they can lower their prices they may get more foot traffic, but with COOVID happening, it's going to be difficult to have them see the value in that. Food was okay, fresh but again that location has no real foot traffic. And I believe it's because of the reasons listed above.

Basic fish market food. I must say, though, that the fish is very clean tasting But service is awful. Crab cakes are good, but not worth the price. Originally, the order contained two. They're on the flat side (not the thick restaurant ones), but it was fine because you get two (which is one normal sized one) for $5. Second order, though, I order two sets, but received one. Instead of an apology and accommodation, the guy told me that I'm being too technical by assuming that crab cakes plural means two, because (as he correctly put it) it could be any number EXCEPT ONE. However, he rudely tried to convince me that, therefore, it could also be one (despite being plural and having recived two per order last time) and the two crab cakes equalled two orders. In other words, he sent me one order, tried to convince me it was two, and then told me that he doesn't care about what happened last time or what the menu says. Then, he proceeded to talk over me and tell me that I needed to listen to him. I said no, he needs to listen to me. His response? He doesn't want to hear it. So obviously, we won't be ordering from here again. At $50/order, it's just not worth it to support a business that has no respect for its customers. Unfortunate, because my family just recommitted to a pescatarian diet and this is close by. Oh well!

I had not had fresh fish in a while. Great quality whiting and tasty sweet plantains. Will visit again when in the neighborhood.

Heard about the fresh fish from this place and just had to give it a try. I called in an order: 2-3pc whiting and sweet plantains and 1 order of medium ship and fried for a grand total of $30 to be picked up (thanks, nephew). The order was hot and super fresh. The whitings tasted fresh (thank God) and the coating could have used a little more salt (but better for the blood pressure). The plantains were excellent. Sweet, cooked soft and good. The shrimp was delicious with an abundance of fries--gone in one sitting. All in all, the place lived up to the hype. Now for the response from the owners that continue to say, "We deserve five stars," get rid of the attitude, reflect on the feedback and continue to try to improve. The food is not the problem--your attitude is the issue. Consider saying, thank you for your feedback and offer personalized service the next time the person comes in and keep it moving. You were recommended to me by a local--keep improving on that. Best of luck and I look forward to great things from you.

This place is convenient in between chicken joint and across from McDonald's. I did not try since covid but before, they have fish, shrimp, fried okra, steamed crab. There are no other seafood places around, so it's the go to guy.they open till 11pm. Others in the neighborhood close at 9 or 10pm. Except Gabys pizza and panda house Chinese restaurant. It's not cheap but serves the purpose. It is Halal for Muslims in the community.The food is hot & ready when you call in and pickup.

If I can give them negative stars I would you get a little food and the prices are so High I ordered a side of plantains for $4 and got 5 little pieces never again will I order you have been warned
I wish I could take this one star away but I have to keep it to write a review,This is by far the worst restaurant in Queens New York the service is horrible,the food is terrible my wife and I ordered food from this place through door dash and they messed up our order and gave it to the wrong address and we went to the establishment and the cook/chef/manager acted as though we were wrong or dishonest,we almost went through the process of getting the police involved this is and will be my worst restaurant experience ever and we never received our food and it seem that the manager was perfectly happy with that some way to treat customers during these troubling times!!!!!

I’d give them 0 stars if I could very overpriced and hardly gave me any food . I called and explained this to them and the person was very very very rude . They did not care for anything I said . Food does not taste fresh at all .I honestly feel like just throwing up . The food has a weird taste to it . I will never buy from this place again . Do not waste your money . A paying customer deserves respect and decent customer service not just a “oh ok oh well” and I don’t post this with any ill intent but customer service is key .

The prices went up and quality went down. Restaurant smells of spoiled seafood nothing fresh or tasty about anything. due to covid 19 I was also charged an additional $8 to my meal of $32 and another $15 meal because they "ran out of crab" The customer service is beyond poor and there's no excuse because there is no language barrier just unsanitary rude people. The previous workers were better. In the past 3 years this place has turned crap
