The food is good here and the service is also exceptional. Besides that though if you are not Indian you are treated as such. They definitely make you feel like an outcast if you go there ordering food and not seeing the right names. This is why I stopped coming here, I never really felt very welcome
This place has great food. From the outside it may seem somewhat unassuming but that's fairly consistent with the neighborhood. Nothing is really flashy around here. When you first enter you see a hot buffet table that normally has at least a handful of folks waiting to order something quick. I've tried all three of their biryani - chicken, beef and goat - and all three are great. The samosas are also excellent and there's never a problem getting an extra tamarind sauce. I was there late so it was steam-table focused rather than the Indo-Chinese offerings, but there was still plenty to choose from. I got black chickpeas, potatoes with string beans and chicken curry, which had a great, complex sauce that may or may not have contained nutmeg. The "small" rice was quite large.
