This was my first time eating at this place.. i ordered salmon Croquettes fried eggs & grits with cheese.. I can honestly say this food taste like real homecooking.. Grits were on point perfect i wish i didnt live in brooklyn cause this would be my go to spot not to mention very afforadable$8
What a surprise at almost 1 am. You walk in to this place it's small and homey. It's a sense of family running around taking care of guest and business at hand. It's all rush rush. (In a good way) you place your order and are blown away by what comes out. The food is fresh made while you wait fresh. Flavorful without over seasoning. I mean nothing was salty. Oh my Goodness... This quaint small place is a beautiful surprise! The macaroni and cheese is better than my mamas (don't tell her, please), the fried shrimps are a perfectly seasoned golden delight and the collard greens are straight from South Carolina. The service is SUPERB. If you're craving soul food and your in Queens, this definitely the place to go. THEY EVEN SELL KOOL AID
