“Both the food and service are worth coming back for! Standouts were the lassuni gobi, tandoori chicken, fish amritsari, and garlic naan although everything was worth a try. Our server Azar was very attentive and personable. Finding good Indian restaurants in the city isn’t always the easiest but this one is definitely a standout!“
“What an amazing experience!! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcomed by Simone. The service Stephanie provided was exceptional!! Prompt to answer our questions. Our meals.... WOW!!!! Oxtail with rice & peas and the chicken rasta pasta were out of this world!! Hats off to the chef(s)!! We will make another trip from Canada for sure!!“
“Came across this place on Uber Eats so we decided to take advantage of the buy one get one free deal for the roti rolls. I like that you can customize your roll to however you like so the options are endless! Pleasantly surprised at how fast the service is and how amazing the food is! The ingredients taste fresh and the portions are the perfect size. It's our second time ordering from here and we were not disappointed! Safe to say this will be a regular spot for us and I look forward to trying the other items on the menu.“
“Fabulous! You could spend so much money in here and never feel unhappy about it. Totally vegan it's actually quite large with lots of places to sit and just plants everywhere. if I had more money, I would buy myself every single plant and item they have here. lovely food, lovely staff, highly recommend! please support your neighborhood, vegan place.“
“Absolutely delicious Oaxacan food. I've always wanted to visit Oaxaca and this place definitely gave us a taste of what it will be like. The restaurant is small with a few tables but it wasn't crowded when we went for lunch on a holiday Monday. My boyfriend and I shared the mole poblano, mole oaxaqueño, and molcajete. The mole dishes came with rice, beans, and warm tortilla and I also got a small horchata. Everything came out piping hot and fresh, bursting with flavor with every bite. Nothing was too spicy but if you like sweeter things, I would highly recommend the mole poblano.“
“Mother and Son Brunch … just because? at this quaint, tucked away secret gem in Queens. Truly the first place that I,ve found in Queens that does BOTH vegan and carnivore options WELL! If you’re like me where your household has a little bit of everything going on, this is your spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch! They are a vegetarian diner with an extensive menu so lots of good eats to choose from that are not salty or oily and well seasoned ?We had fresh carrot juice made to order, the pancake special with plant based bacon, eggs, home fries, sour dough toast, fresh fruit and avocado. Magnificent! They also have vegan desserts like apple crumb pie, frosted cookie crunch and so much more. The service was wonderful and we felt right at home. There is also a lovely gift shop right next door that has some unique knick knacks. Tell ‘em Avery sent you?Downside is parking is sparse so Uber or subway if you can. Note their hours are 8am - 3pm, closed on Tuesdays and are open on Sundays. Bon Apetit ?Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options. You will not be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Perfect Vegan spot with lots of optionsParking: You might have to circle a couple times to find parking as this location is in a residential neighborhood.“
“Jagdish and Vishala, owners of the restaurant (excuse the spelling) are very friendly. The service was fast and great, food was amazing as always (we got Gobi Manchurian Dosa and Spinach Masala Dosa this time). Only feedback would be the spice level could be more in the potato filling of the dosa. Chai at the restaurant or on the go is perfect too. I recommend anyone in the mood for yummy vegetarian Indian food to visit.“
“Hands down best dosa, idli, vada, chutney, upma, pongal, mysore pak, and madras coffee. You can do Abhishek in Ganesh temple upstairs on a full stomach. Very satisfying and may improve your karma! Just not on a weekend though when it's crazy packed.“
“After a long time has a peferct sarso ka saag . Totally punjabi style...without tomatoes.. the Makki ki roti remained soft till i got home.. I would rate this as perfect. Please never change the reipe of this... Still have to try the Paneer Purji.. ahich my friend raved aboutJalandhar wali AuntieVegetarian options: Sarso ka saag and paneer purji“
“It is the BEST south Indian veg food I ever had in NewYork.Taste wise and quality wise...it's the best best food.Dosa and Vada and chutney is so delicious.Coconut chutney (this restaurant makes it in authentic way)So happy I went there. But I really suggest them to change their mode of table service.“
“My party of three came in on a Saturday night and we got some delicious food! For our starter we got nachos and they were great! All the sauces//veggies added great flavors! Then we got The Mac’n Portobello and the BX cheesesteaks and they were both delicious!! All the food tasted great and filled us up. The workers were very welcoming and friendly. The only thing we didn’t love was the vibe. We kinda wish it was a little more cozy. Other than that we had a great experience and will be back!!Vegetarian options: The menu is vegan.Dietary restrictions: Healthier choices“
“They have healthy vegan food which is rare in this neighborhood. On top of that the vegan food tastes identical like real meat. Highly recommend Citrus chicken made with vegan meat , Plant base delight with quinoa. Feel inside out healthy at this restaurant and look for their delivery service of my everyday meal.“
“This ramen place? It's not just a restaurant, it's a relationship. We've been seeing each other for 6 months now, and the spark hasn't faded! We dream about the broth, fantasize about the noodles... honestly, we should probably get their wallpaper on our phones at this point. The classic ramen is SO good, we haven't even dared to explore the rest of the menu. Maybe next time... or the next...“
“We got some food packed to go. The idlis were soft and freshly prepared. Chutney was good but the sambar was watery. We also got a plate of thali. They gave us chole, daal and sabzi (veg). All the dishes were spicy for our palate.Overall a decent meal at a reasonable price.“
“I purchased a chicken roti for the first time, I usually purchase goat roti. I was a bit disappointed because they didn't cut the chicken for roti. Other than that the dhalpuri and the vegetables were on point.I purchased doubles for the first time because my sis was coming to town. I told them I wanted everything, which I meant the sauces. I got beef in my doubles also??♀️. Next time I have to be specific?.“
“Best Vegan Food Ever! I usually order more to go than dine in. But the place is beautiful and the staff is very kind. The menu is big with several options, from appetizers, soups, noodles, entrees and delicious desserts! Also they offer different kind of teas. I definitely recommend it!“
“My main local hangout since I was 15! If you're a vegan, gluten-free or whatever, this place has got you covered! They have a great food selection and an amazing coffee/tea selection too! Try the awesome deserts as well! Atmosphere is that of gothic/punk east village right here closer to home! Tell them "Gordo" sent you!“
“Mohammed asked me to leave a good review. I'm puzzled because obviously Dosa Delight has the best Subcontinental /Vegetarian/Vegan/Jain food in the Western hemisphere and I didn't think this was controversial, but anyway, thank you MohammedVegetarian options: Has vegan and Jain food as well. Kosher and Halal“
“My family loves this place. The staff are very accommodating and the food is top notch.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian roti is delicious.Dietary restrictions: If you tell them your dietary restrictions the staff can recommend something tasty that meets your needs.Kid-friendliness: My two-year old loves the food here (even things that are a little spicy). But they have a “standard American” kids section on the menu as well.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to the front door.“
“Overall, it was a great experience! We reserved a large dinner birthday party with ease. Upon arrival, the staff was attentive and happy to receive us. We were comfortably seated in the center of the restaurant, the food was delicious, the drinks were so tasty, and the ambiance was spot on! We had multiple dishes and not one disappointed! Once the dinner portion was done, they swiftly transitioned into a dance party with a live DJ playing Salsa and Bachata music. I'm happy to have tried them and will definitely be back.“
“first time coming here ever on a less busy day and had the pleasure of chatting with the owner lori! she is clearly very passionate and her menu is well thought out and researched, i even got a taste of her chipotle coleslaw which was delish. the carnitas really are bomb like the sign outside says. also both the red sauce and green sauce were divine! i will be coming back soon!“
“This place was excellent, we had the vegetable samosas, chicken korma and biryani all cooked and seasoned perfectly. The service was great. They are a byob restaurant but no worries, you can buy a bottle of wine/beer across the street and bring it with you. We’ll be back!“
“One of my family's favorite vegetarian restaurants! The Samosas are my personal favorite. The vibe in there is very nice and calm with a stunning interior, soothing music, and ambient lighting. Overall a great place and not too expensive.“
“I mean, first and foremost I can’t stop emphasizing how much revitalizing the food is after couple of drinks. The Staff is so friendly and accommodating, Specially mama Rabe, she’ll have you feeling like you’ve just discovered a brand new mom that knows exactly what your stomach need lol. I definitely recommend to check it out.“
“Fresh food and great service! This is my first time here and I have to say the food here is phenomenal. For every bite I took I can taste the spices and flavor. The staff that work here are kind and friendly. I ordered two chicken kebab rolls, two chicken samosa, and one veggie roll to go. Also I couldn’t forget that tea that is much more delicious than any other spot in starling. This gem can’t be missed! I highly recommend this location!“
“Amazing food, so healthy, really considerate staff. Wow! The options are full of superfoods, hot plate and smoothies. When you walk into Italfari it smells like health. And health means wealth. The food and drinks are pricey but well worth it!“
“I love Tikal Café I always go for coffee and brunch, and now they are opening dinner with different options. I had the vegetarian pork sausage Ragu it was the best pasta that I had in the area for a really good price, I'm not vegetarian, but I'm impressed with the veggie ragu, I'm coming back for sure ? ? ?.“
“They season this food crazy good. Got roasted duck, wonton soup, peking duck, sweet and sour chicken. I don’t even care for regular chinese take out, and dislike how oily and salty it can be sometimes— But they do it right. I have had some tragic vegetarian chinese dining experiences in Chinatown that take advantage of the prime location. Overpriced and flavorless. This is exactly the opposite. I have had meat eater friends enjoy the dishes just fine. Kudos to CoCo Lin.“
“The food here is beyond AMAZING. It makes turning vegan easier. BUT I must say the attitude of the cashier doesn't match the greatness of the food. I just started going there and the few times I've came She has not welcoming. Her attitude isn't good When you come in to spend your money somewhere. But the food is so good there i hope their customer service begin to match their food.“
