“A wonderful bistro that can provide a variety of needs: from a sandwich and coffee on the go to a catering order for a party. The food is such high quality and service is excellent. Try the Moroccan chicken salad wrap or the vegan thai-peanut wrap. You won't regret!“
“A great place for breakfast! We got lattes, an almond crossaint, and the egg and cheese sandwich. Everything was delicious and the service was fast and friendly even on a busy Sunday morning. They had a great beer selection and some unique grocery items, too!“
“Ummm, wow... I LOVE hidden gem restaurants, and this place is a hidden gem. Unassuming from the outside, the dining room opens into a large room with quaintly matched tables and chairs, brightly-colored vases, and rustic art on the walls. It feels like home... and the way Donna and Joe treated us was just like family. The lunch was incredible. The aptly-named 'crack sauce' delivered, a warm and spicy compliment to perfectly fried chicken. The apple slaw cooled things down just right. This will be our spot every time works brings us back to Kingston. Cheers!Kid-friendliness: The space and the staff are both conducive to children and animals.“
“The squash was one of the best tasting dishes I had during a weekend upstate. Don’t miss the mayana chocolate bars—sometimes in the display case and sometimes out in the grocery store aisle. I’m obsessed.Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious premade vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options, including the fried chicken.“
“This place has a classic American tavern feel. There is bar seating and table seating. There are a couple of sections (a big back section which is where our group of 11 was seated). Food was delicious and they had a couple of options - bar snacks, appetizers, salads/soup, mains. The price of main entrees run from $20-$30. Service was also great.“
“When you walk in, you are greeted immediately and the atmosphere is inviting and warm. The food was absolutely stellar. I had a grilled octopus special for an app that was cooked to perfection followed by the half rack of lamb that was so juicy and delicious. The sauce was incredible..not only is the food 5 star, watching the staff work together was quite lovely. They seem to be a true family and it is a welcome sight to see. Highly recommend this establishment and kudos to the staff and kitchen.“
“Excellent place for dinner. Was visiting town after a Bard college baseball game and decided to try the Mariners Harbor for our meal.My wife ordered creamy lobster bisque and a side Caesar salad. I ordered the pier and steer with a local Beavers bite IPA which was great. It was an incredible dinner. Server was attentive and met the right pace for checking in. Not to much not slow he nailed it. The atmosphere was warm and lively. It was a perfect evening, I can see why the reviews are so consistently top rated. Thanks for quality in environment, people, food and drinks.“
“The Lunchbox is my favorite quick lunch spot in Kingston. Sean, the chef, is super kind and delightful. With a variety of healthy options on the menu, all the food I’ve tried has been delicious. Go grab your lunch at Sean’s window; you won’t regret it.“
“Went with friends for a birthday celebration. Veggie burgers are house made, crispy tater tots, rib eye, and chicken sammy were all good. Live music began as we were leaving. Good time!Vegetarian options: Veggie burgers are house made!Parking: Lots of room to park.“
“This is a family owned old time restaurant and a cash only establishment. The food is delicious and well prepared. The locals know a great place to eat. Fresh roasted turkey and ham. Although it looks pretty dated, don't dismay you'll not be sorry once you taste the great eats!“
“Was a bit weary coming to this place due to mixed reviews on here. But this place had a bit higher rating than the other diners in Kingston. Our waitress was very friendly, food came out in under 10 minutes. Seems like many locals come here, staff greeting them with friendliness. Atmosphere is nice diner feel.I ordered a veggie breakfast wrap. It was very delicious with egg, spinach, onion, & broccoli and came with potato hash. Also ordered strawberry waffles, strawberries were obviously not fresh, from frozen and way too much whipped cream. It’s what to expect w diner food, stick to the basics eggs, pancakes, omelets. Really good price, group of three we all ate under $11 each.“
“Close to I-87/NY Thruway. The food was so outstanding! We stopped here on our way home from Belleayre Mountain. Thurs/Fri is fried chicken night, so of course we got an order, delicious, juicy, tender, perfect fry. We also got the pulled pork and the brisket. Solid BBQ. Each meal comes with 2 sides. We got garlic mashed potatoes, which were yummy, baked beans, and veggies, which rotate. Today, it was kale and squash with garlic. Everything was great. Our server was sweet and was serving the whole place by herself. We sat by the bar and got a few beers. They have about 8-10 taps and a good variety of local IPAs, lagers, pale ales, stouts, and a few standard staples mixed in.Vegetarian options: They had quite a few vegetarian options. I noticed a portobello Mushroom burger. A lot of the sides are vegetarian and it's noted when meat is in it.Parking: Adjacent parking lot with plenty of spots.“
“Deising’s bakery is hidden gem of Kingston. It’s small town dinner meets incredibly bakery . My wife and had lunch there today and it was awesome . The staff are super friendly and accommodating . The food is reasonably priced and portion size is more than reasonable . The bake goods are delicious The only issue is there is limited parking but circle around the parking lot you won’t regret it .“
“Truly a perfect location, friendly staff, nice rooms, unique proposition where the hotel has multiple locations/buildings throughout town. The hotel bar had some really unique and fun cocktails, including a fun sidecar-esque martini and a tequila based creamy coffee cocktail. The continental breakfast is great, easy but good quality, with attentive staff.Rooms are nice and uniquely appointed, and clean!Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Kingston. We brought a dog and it was pooch-approved also!Walkability: Definitely hugely walkable to get around town, and even can walk to a small strip mall that’s a quarter mile awayFood & drinks: Continental breakfast in the morning. The hotel’s restaurant is great, and contends with any top option in the area.Bar is small but lovely with unique cocktails.“
“Best hamburger and fries I’ve ever had in my 63 years. The salmon is the best in town. Chops is always reliable and consistent. They have a good number of regulars as well as an affordable menu with plenty of meals to choose from for every person in your party. The servers are wonderful. Be sure to say hello to Denni, the owner, on your way out. He’s as much a part of the restaurant as the food is.“
“Dolce is a great place for you to get breakfast, especially if you are fond of sandwiches, toasts, and crepes (so many crepes!). I had an avocado salmon toast while my friend had a strawberry chocolate crepe and both of those were great. Try it out if you are visiting Kingston and want breakfast in a cozy beautiful space.“
“We ordered the Impossible Berger and the Pastrami Reuben, Ice Tea and Seltzer Water. Then Apple pie. Yes that was a lot but it all tasted great. I am so stuffed I have no energy to elaborate on the food quality. It was Greaaat.Parking: Tricky to reach but large and spacious.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp for wheelchairs.“
“Service was great. Best quality of food at a Texas Roadhouse. Appetizer was a little behind and the manager comped it to make sure we were happy. Drinks and rolls flowed freely.Parking: A large strip mall parking lot add wheelchair friendly.Kid-friendliness: Food selection and staff were great with kidsWheelchair accessibility: Store looks very wheelchair accessible“
“Stone Soup catered our wedding and it was delicious! Everyone loved the food and they even baked our wedding cake too. Gwenn was so nice and easy to work with. When we had our tasting we were blown away! We are so glad we were able to work with them. Definitely recommend.“
“Major Disappointment! I can't trust anyone when it comes to a Review. The Philly cheese steak was not even close. Wrong Bread. Wrong cheese. Wrong cut of meat. Closer to An Italian Hot Beef. But that's still a stretch. It was fresh and hot. I will return for other items on the menu.“
“Dallas Hot Wieners is a nice find on my way to New York City. I randomly found it on Google Maps and I'm so happy to have dropped by. I really liked the old diner vibe. The service was very friendly and the prices are very affordable. The Dallas Hot Wieners secret sauce is so good and can go with anything. It's a little bit spicy, but you get used to it.“
“I am a VERY picky eater. Their Chop Shop Salad, and chicken tenders are the best!!!! Blue cheese, crisp bacon, tomato, olives, and the freshest lettuces!! The tenders are made with real breast meat....not chopped and formed garbage. They are cooked to perfection, and taste amazing. The service is also very good....attentive, and pleasant.“
“My partner and I had dinner at Ole Savannah's on New Year's Eve and there quite honestly could not have been a better place, with better staff or food, or drinks anywhere in the area to ring the new year in. Lucy- our server was the epitome of welcoming attentive service. She never rushed us and never once made us feel uncomfortable. Lucy was so complimentary to us and I cannot stress this enough- made us feel so special and taken care of. Even when a table next to us was exhibiting the most grotesque and rude behavior I have ever seen in a restaurant, Lucy and Stacey (the manager aka the forthright captain) handled the situation as the professional, courteous, and kind human beings they are. I had the steak frites and my wife had the honey glazed salmon. Both were cooked to perfection and we would be again hard pressed to find a meal or cocktails to send off 2023 so well. We will certainly be returning as soon as possible with all our friends and family at any opportunity we get. Love this local restaurant and we are so so glad everyone at Ole Savannah's is here.“
“We stopped to get a bite to eat The seat that we were sitting in kind of smelled like urine I don't know if it was in the rug or the people sitting next to us My son-in-law smelted also The food however was pretty decent and large portion their steak was great The hamburger I was told was not that great service was pretty slow but they were very short-handed because it was snowing outside when I went I will try this place again and hopefully it will not smell we were going to leave with the odor but we already ordered and we were starving so we waited for the food and like I said I don't know if it was just a rug or another customer sentence closer to us“
“Every time I visit the food is outstanding. The Zuppa di Pesce is to die for. The appetizers are amazing especially the raw clams and oysters; It's hard to find them as fresh anywhere on the planet!!!. The staff are kind and pleasant.“
“Nice place great service. My battered fish was too thick and undone. They did make me a new plate. I was disappointed it was one piece of fish because without the breading it was small. The fries were glistening with oil. I could not eat them.I left hungry. Staff and the manager were very nice.I do not eat fried food often but this was just too greasy as the second meal was brought I was happy but tue fries still were saturated in oil. Maybe they don’t drain them? Not sure.My friend’s meal was fine, grilled salmon, nice portion and her mom’s food was good too.Stick to non fried or battered food for me.I was shocked at the prices. I know things have gone up but $32 for a salmon dish and a side salad being extra. Thats more of fine dining prices and this is not that.My friend’s side salad was just lettuce with a shaved 1/2 a ring of red onion. I believe that was an extra $5 or so.That is not a salad. But she did like the dressing.“
“Great little spot in Kingston with delicious breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. The space is small and seating can be tight but you can order ahead. Our breakfast sandwiches were delicious. We had the country wrap and southwestern wrap. Both were flavorful and filling. I recommend this spot for a quick bite and delicious meal!“
