“We unexpectedly stumbled upon this diner when looking for somewhere to eat on our ride home to Jersey. This diner is worth a stop on your list!It was so cute inside-everything was decorated with cool posters on the walls, even the bathrooms and spunky light fixtures covered the ceiling. There was a "soda shop" area, a "bakery" area, and a bar with some seating. They had a decent amount of booths/bar chairs -only half of which were open when we were there, but seems like that depends on the time you go.I got a lunch special -Mac and cheese & pulled pork grilled cheese, it was amazing. Also ordered were a chicken sandwich, eggs Benedict, and a "down under" burger, all of which came out great. We tried a cream soda and headed back on the road with our black and white cookies (only one pictured because I ate mine too fast) ?Everything is very clean, prices are great, atmosphere is very welcoming, service was goodWe would go back again!”

“This is a Chinese take-out. Delicious food. Taste like the old place in the 44 plaza or the place that used to be on Main st. But it is take-out only.Vegetarian options: Any dish can be made vegetarian or Vegan even.Dietary restrictions: They make it fresh to order. So you can ask for things not to be added.”

“This a quaint little place on route 55 heading east. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. There is a seating area if you want to sit down and eat your sandwich or meal. They have an assortment of drinks and snacks as well. The business is situated on a part of the rode that curves a little and has crest, so you have to careful entering and exiting the property. I love that they have signature sandwiches! Can't wait to try them all. This is another spot my partner suggested when we had down re from our EMS duties. I'm adding it to the list! ?Dietary restrictions: All food is custom so they can accommodate.Parking: Huge lot that is part of the property. Gravel and dirt.Kid-friendliness: Frequented by lots of locals and there were teens there sitting, eating, and talking. Quiet calm atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp.”

“I am so sad it took me this long to find Dolce... Growing up in hopewell I aways thought we needed a good bakery, well we definitely have one! Dolce has the best cannolis I have ever had! Cream is amazing, and they offer so many options... big, small, chocolate dipped, sprinkles etc. They are now my go-to for party desserts. The owner is super friendly as well, and is a pleasure to deal with! Cannot wait for my next visit.”

“Overall, we really like Zoe‘s. The ice cream is delicious, pricey yes but considering it’s fresh, it’s worth it. The brownie sundae is ridiculously delicious and serves 2 (unless you don’t want to share). They usually have one or two dairy free flavors, which I appeciate as someone who is unfortunately newly diagnosed as lactose intolerant. I haven’t had too much of their hot food menu, but the lamb burger is consistently delicious and well seasoned & cooked, and my son enjoys their hotdogs and fries. It can get very busy during the summer, so I wish they had more tables on the grass during the busy season. The staff members are always polite and helpful.My one annoyance is that the cashiers, in all of my visits, NEVER give a receipt. This irks me, and as an adult, there’s really nothing stopping me from asking for it. When I went this past Saturday with my son for lunch, I had two separate transactions, one for the hot food and then later one for ice cream. There is a sign on the counter noting a 3.99% discount for cash. I paid cash for the food but have no idea if I actually received the discount because the cashier told me the total and I handed her the money. When it came time to get the ice cream, I used my credit card. Please don’t make your customers ask for a receipt and if you’re going to post a sign with a discount for cash, be sure to apply it.”

“The Landmark was busy for a Tuesday! It took us a little while to be greeted and seated and to get our drink orders taken, but they brought out bread when they took our drink orders. The food, though, was very good, and the waitstaff was doing their very best to get to everyone as quickly as possible. The food is a bit expensive for the area but we were satisfied with our meal overall. The restaurant has a clean, fresh look and it was nicely decorated for Christmas/winter holidays.”

“Both my husband and I don’t get out much these days with two small children so when we finally had a date night we wanted to try il traverna. It was absolutely beautiful inside the food was wonderful the drinks were okay. I only say that because i definitely ordered the wrong drink. “I have visited this restaurant twice. That is a positive sign by itself. Sotanos is located on Main Street in Fishkill, NY. The area is easy to get to as it it right off of I 84 and Route 9, a major thoroughfare. There is ample parking in the back of this white, quaint, vintage house turned into an eatery. That's a good thing because at peak hours, there is no Street parking to be found. You will be greated immediately upon arrival and seated in one of the dining areas to the left OR at the small bar to your right. We ordered fried calamari and shrimp ? wrapped in bacon ? as appetizers. A universal truth is that bacon makes everything taste better! Both were tasty and devoured so fast that I forgot to take pretty, unmolested pictures of them. You will notice immediately that the portions here are adequate, so you do not feel robbed, but unless you had gastro surgery, there will not be a lot of take out boxes clogging up your refrigerator You get JUST enough with lots of sauce to trick the ? eyes into thinking ? the plates ? are loaded. The main courses ordered were a fillet mignon with scallops and a "crispy" duck that was not crispy at all. Reportedly, the duck was delicious, but the crispy description was on the menu. The steak was a good grade, tender, and prepared to my liking. The scallops were some of the best ? that I ever had. As you can see in the picture, you don't get many of them. Gelato as a desert is my recommendation. The service was excellent. I like the non rushed eating experience on well spaced tables on beautiful, 100 year old broad plank floors. The bathroom was clean. I can see a pretty good wait for this room if the place is crowded. If memory serves me, it is a single use bathroom. It's a VERY nice place to go for a delicious meal, perhaps for a special occasion. I would and will absolutely visit again unless I can find a comparable restaurant with slightly larger portions for the price. Sotanos is a wonderful experience although not a great value.
