Update: 6 years later. Still solid overall but where once upon a time you always knew what you were going to get (the “safe” pizza place of the area), now the quality is pretty all over the place. Ordered ahead two gluten free pizzas. They were ready already. The pizzas were so good, greasy but in that way that makes them taste so good. So glad I picked this place for our brief trip to the Albany area.

There is no shortage of pizza in the Albany area, each with its own personality. Crispy Basil has a distinct edge that pairs well with its artisan pizza selections. Showed up late on a Sunday night before an early morning flight and we were ecstatic to indulge these perfect pies. Excellent balance of cheese and sauce - perfectly baked (just a little on the crispy side) and the toppings were generous.
