“Great all around place to eat in, take out or order for delivery. Great owner, manager and customer service. I have ordered and eaten at the restaurant dozens of times, taken out probably twice as much (and eaten 5x as many times at other places that ordered from Carlos and Gabbys) and ordered innumerable times to be delivered through Uber Eats. Amazing menu options, tasty food and I am getting hungry just writing this review.“

“Carlos and Gabbys offers a variety if different menu items that are all equally delicious. It's the only restaurant where everybody in the family (especially the kids) are happy because they all find something to eat there. Highly recommended!“

“I'm from Corona queens, there are taco places everywhere but since I've moved to Rockaway almost 8 years now I've looked for good Mexican food but there just isn't any out here or at least there wasn't until I found this place. Amazing tacos, amazing nachos, the tostada's are killer. They are as authentic as it gets as it might as well have been my uncle back there on the grill. The prices are average prices you could expect anywhere as long as you're a working adult. I would recommend it over every other taco place in Rockaway. And the place is great for a quiet bite to eat friendly service and just an all around good experience“

“This taco bell saved my life. I tried to hit the Popeyes up the road, but the man said they didn't have tenders, so I asked for the sandwhich, and he said they ain't got no bacon, so I asked for the chicken nuggets, but they said it was gonna take a LONGG time. “Being my very 1st time, I can not speak for every Chipolte, but I did enjoy my meal, service, and all-around experience at the Lawrence location. Maybe not the best choice after the gym, but I was getting a hungry headache, and to be completely honest, I've been wanting to try it. I planned on getting the chicken bowl from their commercial. I wasn't aware of the different choices. The steak was pink ? so brown rice, steak, guacamole, black beans, white corn, sour cream, mild salsa (I think they gave me the hot) I love spicy but found the salsa to be over powering. I also got a side of chips but didn't eat any. I planned on taking it to go, but I like to people watch so I decided eat in. Plus, like I said, I was hungry. The portion shown in the commercial looks much smaller than the actual portion size. I like that the kitchen and service area is open. A friend suggested that next time I try, the shredded beef (I think that's it) I'm not a salsa lover, so I'll be leaving that out. $18 and very fulling. I'm not one to finish an entire meal, so for me, I couldn't even eat 1/2 of it. I definitely enjoyed my meal. I gave my leftovers to my dad & he didn't complain“

“Shared 4 assorted tacos (fish, lengua, birria & carnitas) with my wife for snack, craved for more. I don’t usually get Lengua (tongue) because of funky after taste from previous experience. At Mala Madre, lengua was so tender, butter and beefy. Will definitely come back for more.“

“Came to casa on a Friday night for dinner with a group of friends, love the fact they had a dj on Friday playing great music, so the night started good, all the food was great , the shrimp and garlic sauce was the winner, and they have a great drinks, thank you Isabella for taking care of my group!! “I was here last night around 8:30pm for the first time and my experience was 10 out of 10. I had the guava coconut margarita on the rocks and it was what I needed after working a 12 hour shift.
