Wow every year we make a special visit from Queens for my girlfriend's birthday not only is the food fabulous but it's like a fisherman's museum... The owners spent some time showing us the fish he caught and stuffed for all to see.. Holy moly it is amazing to eat the great affordable food and have the ambience of eating in the ocean... I get the steamed shrimp. South side never disappoints. Their personnel offer quick and knowledgeable service and their shrimp is always perfect for dinner parties. Would definitely recommend.

Nicest of staff ever! Atmosphere could benefit from old fashioned decor to update with possibly blue paint to make it look like the ocean...food is good but tartar sauce horrible. They also need some homemade mashed potatoes or a little more savory vegetable sides with garlic.
