“We were strolling along the boardwalk and saw this gem! The food was unbelievable! I loved being able to order lunch for breakfast, food is fresh- staff is so kind. We will definitely be back! We ordered the big Kahuna burger and old bay fries. Definitely not a 4.3* place. Try 5***. Beautiful views!“
“Not sure how everyone is having such a sour experience. I went early in the morning with my grandmother. We were the first ones to walk in. The feel of the restaurant is very calm and artsy, the service was super friendly, and the food was really good! I ordered the Buddha wrap and I for once finished a dish. If I were staying in the area longer I would def stop by again!“
“Many many years ago, in better times, I wrote the following review, which I must now correct. "Hey, even though this is probably the worst McDonald's on Long Island--with the exception of the one on Merrick Road in Freeport and their "with or without pubic hair option on the Kid's Menu"--the McDonald's in Long Beach has one thing going for it: employee's at the Drive-Thru who are willing to do some pretty unusual things in exchange for Food Stamps, and let's just say that I got "plenty of sauce" for MY nuggets." Yes, things were different then, and the McDonald's Corporation cared more deeply about who they permitted to own and operate a Temple of the Golden Arches. Not anymore. I mean, the Long Beach Mc'D's still provides the most consistently explosive "pant's refund" of any fast food venue, but the level of service, accuracy, and speed of their employees has gone straight into the toilet...the same place their digestible-plastic "milkshakes" usually end up. According to local folklore, the problem is a mysterious ownership/management group intent on turning Ronald McDonald into a slumlord. Greedy, disinterested in the quality and cleanliness of his staff, and apparently finding humor in serving still-frozen fries and intentionally clogging toilets, this third-rate Daddy Warbucks should be consigned to the same jail where they keep the Hamburgler and that "Secret Sauce" character from Hardee's who hurt all those boy scouts back in the 1970s.“
“Food was prepared nice and hot. Friendly staff. The place is clean and small. My daughter had the 3 chicken tenders - they are big for a meal and a half. I had the yo-yo fish that was very good. We both had the fries and leftovers- they give you so much. The price was very reasonable. The only choice not deep friend was a grilled chicken sandwich. Overall we wanted the yo-yo experience - fried!!!!! Very happy with the service and food. Thank you.“
“Love it here! My husband and I have been twice since discovering it a month ago. The food is really good. We’ve tried the curry goat, curry chicken, jerk chicken, and stew chicken so far. My favorite dish has to be the jerk chicken plantain cups. We also tried the culture clash and the rum punch which were both great drinks. The owner (Mo) is awesome, he’s such a friendly guy and we were engaged in conversation with him the whole time we were there on our first visit. He has great experiences to share if you have the time.“
“This place is phenomenal, the food is excellent, the menu is superb. Besides the place being a bit on the small side I would say that it adds to there nostalgia. While waiting for my food I was helped to a delicious beer on tap. I had the PB burger which I’ve never had before and it was an excellent balance of savory and sweet. My kids love the chicken fingers from there but they always end up taking a bite of one of my burgers. Big helpings of fries which are balanced perfectly with salt. I would’ve added some pictures but my hands never had a free moment that wasn’t filled with food to grab my phone.“
“It's a very cool spot with tons of character and fun. We went on trivia Wednesday. It felt like a fun neighborhood place where friends always meet. The whole restaurant sang happy birthday to my husband. It's definitely a great , chill place to get yummy comfort food.“
“Went here with my mom and this place was legit amazing. Love everything and the portions and prices are great. The service was also pretty good and they are on top of everything. The ambiance is like a charming diner style. Gotta check this place out literally amazing, in particular French onion soup w ginormous onion ring and home fries that come w the sandwiches.“
