Tournesol is really just the most enjoyable local neighborhood bistro that you can find in the Long Island City area. The staff is super friendly and straightforward in their recommendations, they have excellent service and the chef is happy to help you decide on the best dishes each day. Live quite close but only go to the restaurant occasionally. However, every time the food is delicious, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is lively and fun, feels like you are actually in France. Don’t hesitate to check it out.

This place is an absolute staple. I’ve been here many times but I felt compelled to leave a review after having this lamb shank and garlic chicken. The food has always been on point and the ambience is quaint. Although it’s only steps from the Vernon stop on the 7 train, it never feels overwhelming in terms of noise or foot traffic. Peaceful, savory, and welcoming.
