We live near by and moved from the city a while ago and happy to see a good Indian restaurant.Atmosphere:⭐⭐⭐It's pretty desolate around 7pm on a weekday, however I see they have a banquet hall so I assume it fills up over the weekend pretty well. Saffron is low key a local Indian gem in Middletown, NY. I love that when I come in sometimes it’s empty bc that lets me know I got there before the rush!! This place can fill up quickly!I’m here to talk about the most delicious way I’ve had cauliflower by far with the Gobi Manchurian. We had a great dinner here last week. I can't believe we didn't hear about them til recently. We had chicken Tikka masala which was a little different than usual, but really good. Shrimp Biryanis. Lamb Rogan Josh. All very good. Service was good but they were a little shorthanded. Owners came out to check on us too. We will be back!
