“Higly recommend for hong kong cuisine in midtown. I had the duck noodle soup. Soup base and noodles were good. The duck was okay so I probably try some other protein instead next time. They have hk style milk tea which really made me happy. The portuguese tart flaky pastry crust and the filling was really good.“
“Best Korean bbq in the area. The quality of the meat is consistently phenomenal and better yet, the service is the best in the city. They are attentive, polite, efficient and friendly. I’ve been going here since they opened over the years, and I always look forward to my visits. I highly recommend this place of high quality meat, side dishes, and stews.“
“Was in the NY for the weekend visiting family from FL. Always wanted to try Korean BBQ and this place came up. Absolutely loved it. There was 7 of us walking around and they fit us right in. We ordered the 5-6 meal and 2 appetizers. And it was Plenty for everyone. Half way thru the meal my 10yr old leans over and tells me. "This is the best night of my life." He's a foodie. But check them out you should not be disappointed. Great job guys.“
“I liked the ordering with kiosk option where you could view pictures and customize your orders easily. I chose the Koba bowl. The portion size shocked me! My bowl looked like a mountain. It was satisfying to have that much food and a variety of stuff in only one bowl. Both food and service were amazing! With any order it also comes with a Korean snack of your choice.“
“Service was simply amazing, never once did I feel that I had to call out to my waiter and was constantly asked if everything was okay. The tables can be stuffy with the bbq right infront of you so keep that in mind. Food was great and the marinades were truly delicious. A good place to go to once in a while.“
“We made a reservation a few weeks in advance which was a simple and easy process. Once arrived, we were sat down quickly. The food was incredible. The wagyu was cooked very well and the sides were delicious as well. Service was great except our first reorder of food took some time.Overall, it was a great experience. We will be back.“
“My wife's German grandma loves this place, and often treats us to the family style special. The food is good (certainly the best BBQ you can get in NYC) and the service is always excellent. It does tend to get busy and loud, sometimes louder than is comfortable, but it's always a good time. We went once for lunch, and since it wasn't as busy, that was the best experience we had there. Prices are pretty good, especially for Manhattan. Always have a great time here and love to get good BBQ even this far north!Kid-friendliness: A bit loud for kids, but they put out a coloring page with crayons. There are a few racy pictures on the wall, but they're high up in the corner and my 4 year old didn't notice. She's too focused on the excellent mac and cheese“
“My favorite BBQ location. The brisket, skirt steak and house sauce was the best. The service was amazing and they honor your dietary restrictions and allergies.Lots of sides. They cook in front of you and make you happy. It goes fast and u recommend taking the meat off the stove quick. The rice is a good pairing.. The tofu spicy soup is really spicy.I really liked all the sauces and the house dressing.. The quality of meat is very high.Ambiance is good. Full to come with a group or on a date.Parking: Gotta look a few blocks away“
“4.3 stars. Need street meat? Good lamb (lean and not gamey) and pork (Chinese roast pork belly with the crispy skin) skewers. The shakey-shakey was not that spicy but a bit too salty. The prices are rising too fast and it’s starting to be not a good value. It was a rainy Sunday 6pm so no line.Vegetarian options: 10 vegetarian skewer options.“
“What a great meal experience, you have to do this! Meat/sides were all authentically Asian, fresh, & delicious. Cooked right there in front on you and to order - One of our favorite places to eat that we visited while in NYC. What a gem! I rarely give out 5 stars...but this place earned it.“
“Absolutely outstanding hot pot experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The selection of ingredients was vast and fresh, ensuring there was something for everyone's taste. The broth was flavorful and aromatic, making every bite a delight. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff catering to our every need. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone craving authentic and delicious hot pot.“
“Service is phenomenal, all staff very attentive and constantly ready to clear plates, adjust flames, and switch the grill plate. Our waiter Hira was an excellent waiter!Raised tables and atmosphere are very niceFood would be a 4.5, meat is very good but some cuts were difficult to bite through“
“Wonderful dining experience at Omur’s Mediterranean Cuisine at 59 Ann (by the One World Trade center.). Food is fantastic, authentic, and fast, and the chef and staff here are humble and sweet. Good food, great people, convenient location, and wonderful experience. We thoroughly enjoyed it! 5-star for sure.“
“My favorite place to come after work feels like home my favorite is congee and pork belly over rice and the pork buns it’s all delicious try it for yourself.Vegetarian options: From steam dim sum Buddha delight, spicy mushroom dumplings to mixed mushroom noodle soup even vegetables spring rolls it’s all good to eat.Dietary restrictions: They have many options of food from vegetarian, vegan to carnivorous all can enjoyKid-friendliness: My kids love the pork buns from here they ask me to bring them home dailyWheelchair accessibility: Single floor no steps“
“We were looking for a Korean BBQ that allowed bookings and wasn’t too overpriced. This is it.If you don’t mind the matter in which the seating works, ie you need to climb into your seat, then this place is great. The bbq options are extensive, thou more pork options wouldn’t go a miss. The service is a little manic but it’s what you come to expect in a place like this in the heart of KoreaTown. The martinis were good, so much so we had severalOur only real negative point was the noise levels. Hard to hear each other.“
“A party of 10 no problem. Fast and furious the food came out. They did not skip a beat. All the food was very good. Didn't hurt that the proteins were cooked on charcoal. My favorite may have been the seafood pancake and the side of squash though. The bottle's of soju just added to the whole experience. I have no reservation recommending this place. They are pros, a party of 2-25 they got you.“
“Another slam dunk. I've eaten at Don Don twice (and planning to go more soon!) and the cuts of dry aged pork, side dishes and black sesame ice cream is immaculate. Staff is super attentive and friendly as well.If it's your first time, definitely try out the dry age pork tasting. I've also eaten at a handful of KBBQ joints at NJ and although this isn't all you can eat, I left Don Don feeling just as full and satisfied. Will definitely swing by again in the near future after work!“
“Excellent Korean food with reasonable prices. Rice cakes, fried squid, good meat selections and plenty of side dishes. The side dishes are a bit lighter than normal places.Great cocktails as well. Removed from the chaos of KTown. Good alternative for good food.“
“Seriously the best kbbq in ktown, everytime I come great food and service. Even if you do not like intestines they have traditional kbbq options like porkbelly and beef shortribs. We got the classic and marinated assorted intestines, and the spicy grilled chicken as a side, all amazing!!!“
“It was a really nice experience with all of my friends last night. We went out as a group of six and made a reservation ahead of time. I like that the menu was on the phone and so that we could continuously see the menu so that we could keep ordering food when we wanted to. I love the all you can eat, and some of the little special items on the menu or a great addition as well. It was really busy but the ambience was nice. I’ve been to the one in Brooklyn and now I’ve been to the one in Chinatown Manhattan and both experiences were really great and I enjoyed both times out.“
“It's one of my local favorites and a great place for good Korean BBQ in a quiet setting. Best dish is the Kal Bi (boneless short rib) and I'm also a fan of the Yun Aw (salmon). Both dishes are nicely marinated, juicy and delicious“
“This is an amazing restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. When I travel to NYC, this is the first restaurant I go to. I recommend this restaurant to everyone because the food is just so good! I come here once a year and I've never been disappointed. It's so worth the money.“
“Before leaving New York, I came here specifically to eat skewers and hot pot! The transportation is very convenient in Manhattan's Chinatown, and you can also choose to order hot pot or barbecue a la carte. There are many varieties and the service is very attentive. You can also eat grilled oysters☺️“
“My son said "Blue Smoke has the best brisket in NYC and maybe even TX too" I agree with him. The seasoning is perfect, the meat is super tender and moist, it just melts in your mouth, and we loved their homemade tortilla chips. It was our first time trying it. We started making bites with layers of mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, a piece of brisket w/their delicious sauce on top of their homemade tortilla chip, and to top it off, we would add a calbee hokkaido butter chip so both sides would be crunchy with savory gooey perfection in between. It's difficult to find a better bite and now we want to order it again now.“
“Hao noodle not just provides noodles but some really authentic Chinese dishes like sautéed eggplant with garlic sauce; sautéed sole fish in clay pot; stir fried vermicelli with prawn in XO sauce which are hardly find in Chinatowns. Great environment and highly recommended this place.“
“Eating here was a really fun and interesting experience for me and my family who are not really used to Korean food. There were different kind of side dishes that came when we ordered the bbq set which was refilled whenever we finished it. The overall food and service was really great and my family really enjoyed eating here.“
“We had an amazing dinner at the chefs table. The food was really good and they went above and beyond to accommodate a person in our party with dietary restrictions. The drinks were delicious and the service was great overall no complaints and will definitely return.“
“We ate here for a late lunch. We had the hotpot and bbq. The restaurant was clean and modern. We had a language barrier with our waitress but that didn’t make the experience bad and we were able to get all we wanted by the photos on the menu. We got 4 different individual hotpot’s to try. They were good but the vegetable one I was not a fan of but would be perfect for a vegetarian. The food was delicious and I would eat here again when we come back to visit again. This is a must try place.“
“Flavors were amazing. Loved the Tangy Sauce that gave it a bit of a hit. I love japchae, but it is so much prep chopping everything. lol. The flavors were spot on and it was super quick. I left feeling super satisfied. My daughter and I shared it, as the portion was large enough for 2!“
“Delicious! We went as a family (2 adults, 2 kids) and it was a delightful discovery after an evening of navigating some nasty weather.Service was excellent and everything we tried was really great. Portions are significant, so come hungry (we almost wishes we'd ordered fewer dishes and eaten everything family style). The dumplings were my favorite.Vegetarian options: Clear menu descriptions - details for ingredientsKid-friendliness: They were helpful with making sure the kids had everything they needed (extra utensils, smaller bowls, etc). Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere“
“Great experience! Came here to try their items and they were generously giving out a tray with variety of traditional Korean food like bulgogi, Kim chi, spicy pork with rice to try for free with small little sweet rice cakes. It was so delicious with generous portions, the staff were very friendly and made sure everyone felt welcomed & taken care of!“
“I find myself loving this place more and more, not only is the food great but the owners are AMAZING!!! It’s black owned, and the love they put in their food just keeps me coming back everytime I’ve had to come to Harlem. The fried foods are made fresh to order which is what you would hope for, and everything else is on point. Exactly what I be hoping for when I crave soul food. Must try!!“
“Dropped by for a final New York meal with friends. The ambiance exudes a delightful, contemporary charm, immaculately clean. Given the gloomy, rainy day, we unanimously opted for soup, which proved to be just what we needed. While it may lean towards the expensive side, the cuisine boasts exceptional quality and flavor. Whether opting for lighter fare or indulging in Korean BBQ, satisfaction is guaranteed upon departure.“
“Danny’s always a pleasure! We have had him serve us a multitude of times and he’s always so nice and helpful. Love gyukaku and he also helped us to get the rewards app!Dietary restrictions: They always ask about your dietary restrictions and accommodate.“
“prices are very reasonable. they bring out different snack type foods such as kimchi, steamed egg, radish, tripe before you even order. very friendly and attentive. oh and if you're into K-pop they always have a playlist going which we enjoy :)“
“Went on a saturday peak dinner time for drinks and dinner for two without reservation. Luckily got a table right away and actually was moved a bigger table to fit our food. Great food selection to have with drinks. Price is lil high for the amount of food but it's inflation season, whatever. Service was great, everyone was very nice. Gets a little loud obviously but it was lively and all around good experience“
“This was my first time here but it won’t be my last! My party of 4 got seated immediately at our reservation time and our waitress was patient with all of our orders. The food come out pretty fast and is really good quality. Food portions are a decent size and everything was delicious. I can’t wait to come back!“
“Their food was phenomenal. I would recommend coming to this location for dinner. Tip my hat to Sheem for suggesting Mac and cheese and bread pudding with brisket. Thank you for a great experience. Certainly a goat at this bbq stuff keep it up. Sheem deserves a raise for his great suggestions! I’ll definitely be back soon.“
“Hi! I just contacted and spoke with the owner's daughter! They are willing to deliver to my hotel and I'm just excited to be able to get their beef jerky! I hope they can deliver as I'm waiting for her to confirm they have a driver. Sue and her mother were very sweet and I'm certain their product is as good as the reviews are raving about! Yay!! Got confirmation it will be delivered!! Normally they only deliver 4 pounds and up so I'm even more thankful about their kindness!! I grew up getting dried beefy jerky from New York Chinatown so it's a blessing to find it still is available!! I'm an American Born Chinese who loves coming to Chinatown for the food!! and being around other Chinese Who make me feel like I'm a part of this awesome community Thank You!! Happy New Year and Chinese New Year too!!“
“A friend who made the trip to NYC in December raved about this place. We went on a Wed night and it was relatively quiet but the food was superb. We ordered the regular kalbi, jidori chicken, kimchi sampler, Futago salad and stone pot garlic rice. It was a lot of food for two people so we took part of it home. It was nice because at first we were nervous about cooking the meat ourselves but our wait person said he would do it. After that, we felt able to cook the rest. The meat was very tender and tasty, the salad light and delicious, and the kimchi and rice were sensational. It really was a nice mix of Korean and Japanese. We discovered the two owners were Koreans who grew up in Japan. The service was really great- friendly and helpful without being intrusive, My daughter also ordered a lychee cocktail and said that it was very good as well.“
“Always love hotpot. Lao Jie is always great. We usually eat at the one in Brooklyn but we were in the city and wanted to try it out. They have more options on the menu as opposed to the Brooklyn locations. I always go for the shrimp paste that’s my favorite. The service is very good and helpful. If you plan on going there is a discount with cash but they do accept credit card. When we went it was lunch on a weekday so there weren’t many people. Very clean and very quiet. You wouldn’t think that you were eating in the city“
“The skewers weren't too spicy when eating them but definitely leaves a numbing feeling after. My favorite was the pork skewers. The chicken hearts imo weren't as fresh as I'd like them, but my fiance said they were good.Me and my fiance found this place on Google maps. People had posted that the couple who runs the cart opens at 5pm. We went on a Sunday and they were running a little late. They got there around 5:30pm but was able to get the cart up and running fairly quickly so we didn't have to wait long after they put the food on. It's cash only.“
“We had a delicious Sukiyaki last night with Chicken and prime rib eye. I love that you have a salad and ice cream complimentary. The staff is very helpful, the setting is comfortable and if you go really early you probably don't need a reservation. Going later you most likely will.“
“I love the food! we just saw this restaurant when we were walking in New York. It was our first time to visit and it didn’t disappoint us. We were happy when we left and couldn’t stop talking about it. It was an experience that we cannot forget because the food the service the ambiance was all great!!! I will come back again❤️“
“Quick and easy lunch, waited for about 5-10mins before food was ready. I had the sesame steak which was flavoured nicely, I would happily eat it without the sauce but didn’t because their sauce is great! Portion size good, value for money as there is a good amount of meat included. Staff were also friendly when served.“
“I ordered the Mushroom Adobo Bowl online with a topping of BBQ tofu and thoroughly enjoyed it.The mushrooms seem nicely sautéed along with jasmine rice steamed better than most places produce. The pickled radish and seasoned string beans are chilled and add a nice contrast in texture and temperature to the meal. The tofu was of the very soft variety with a mild flavor, which went well with the dish. It’s also worth noting that menu does include meat and fish options if you’re looking for them but I was surprised how satisfied I waswith the fish as a whole. The responsible packaging and cutlery is also a nice touch. Definitely a thoughtful place overall. The atmosphere in the shop is clean, spacious, and well-lit in a way that suggests you’re supposed to take-out instead of dine in.All in all, I plan to come back and try all they have to offer.“
“I have been coming to Pig Heaven for years. It’s one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in NYC. Everything I have had here is amazing! While I love their specialties, roast pork spare ribs and roast pork butt, their veggie dishes are equally fantastic. My go-to’s are their wonton soup, soup dumplings, prawns with broccoli, and roast pork fried rice.Service is fantastic! Mandy is “the mayor” she knows everyone and greets one with a warm welcome and attentive care. Everybody loves Mandy, she is the sweetest. Everyone who works here is kind, friendly, and helpful. You know the food is good when you eat a huge meal, but you’re also looking at everyone else’s plates for future inspiration.I’m grateful for Pig Heaven!!“
“The staff was really attentive. It's expensive but understandable because it's in korea town. Overall, I enjoyed it and had a good time.Kid-friendliness: They had a high chair for my toddler, which I always appreciate. The staff noticed my kid almost nocked the water and slowly mooved it. As a tired parent, I appreciate that.“
“This spot was amazing.! I got the pulled pork sandwich to go and I did have to assemble it myself. I personally didn’t mind the pork was really tender and juicy so if they would’ve assembled a sandwich for me, by the time I picked it up, it would be very soggy, I appreciate the thought behind the takeout. next time will have to try dirty fries“
“I'll start with the breathtaking panoramic views!!!! What a stunning restaurant!!!! If you are not familiar with what to order off of a Korean menu, just ask for recommendations. From start to finish what an excellent dining experience! Right before theBilly Joel concert, very fitting to have a bottle of red & a bottle of white! If you're in the K-Town area 1250 Broadway to be exact, go straight to the penthouse!!!!“
