This tiny gem punches waaaaaaay above its weight class. I was skeptical upon walking up the steps and entering. The service was great. The atmosphere was quaint and the food was FANTASTIC. this place is a bit far from my house but we will be making this our destination for Indian food.

Decent food; Tried veg and non-veg options; Felt pricey for the quality of the food; chicken Tikka was great but Aloo Gopi was uncooked; Give it a try!!!

Very lively ambiance when we went on a Tuesday night for dinner! We got 2 prefix meals which included everything. We got the Vindaloo and Makhni curries. Vindaloo is definitely for spice lovers (be careful) and Mahkni was very delicious ? The best item on the menu was the vegetable samosa with the sauces, a must try! Service was nice and attentive. Definitely check out if you’re in the area.

What a gem! First, you climb up a flight of stairs that have you wondering if you are in the right place but once youre inside it nothing but friendliness. They have a 3 course pre-fixe that is well worth it. Got here around 6 pm on a weekday and it was mostly empty by the time I left tables were scarce. The food was perfect will definitely be coming back.

Went here for lunch on Friday with my brother. The set menu is a great deal, food was fast and delicious. We will definitely return. We got butternut squash soup, Chana masala, and naan.

The food at this restaurant is tasty and reasonably priced. They offer a variety of common Indian dishes. While it may not be the fanciest Indian cuisine in New York, the flavors are as expected and suitable for residents and workers in the area looking for a quick meal.

i eat here all the time, more than what is probably normal for a month! the takeout/delivery is always fresh and the naan portions are very good! i almost always have leftovers. i get the butter chicken with raita every time. i have eaten at multiple indian restaurants all over the city and this is one of the best! try it if you get the chance!

I looked up the best Indian restaurants in New York City, and this restaurant was included in every single top Indian restaurant review. I was not disappointed. I believe this restaurant was great. I arrived immediately when they opened at 5 p.m. By the time I left, the place was completely packed. They do not take reservations, so it is first come, first served. I ate garlic naan, cheese naan, veggie samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Saag Paneer. I wasn't a big fan of the Saag Paneer, but I loved everything else. The samosas were massive! I'm not sure if you could have requested a certain spiciness level, but I wanted the Tikka masala to be a little hotter, but I didn't ask if you could adjust the spice level. The prices are also affordable! Four stars - Love those samosas!

This was my first time going, they currently have a prefixed menu for $25 and it's honestly a steal. With how good the food is, and the quantity, I don't think I've been to an Indian restaurant in NYC that can beat this place. There are no reservations and during busy hours it can be a wait (we were a party of 2, went around 7:45pm, got seated by 8:15). However, the service was quick and efficient, servers are all friendly and the ambiance of the restaurant is cute.
