“there’s limited seating but that’s because of the small space, it’s cozy. i got the 6$ hibiscus drink and it was alright at best, doesn’t taste like genuine hibiscus. the girl at the counter did explain that they have a premade syrup base so i didn’t expect much. the service was good the girl was friendly and explained the drink before i ordered so i knew what to expect. service 5 atmosphere 4 drink 2 (i have had their coffee before and i prefer the coffee over the teas) overall good and i’ll be back.“
“TL:DR - great food, cozy space, beverages are hit or miss depends what you get. 4 stars. David the barista is great! 58th st location.Details:Service 5/5 - shoutout to David for the exceptional customer service. super cramped in here but it's kind of cozy. They have wifi but it's super intimately spaced and I feel like I'm going to break my neck on those stairs, this place is short people friendly.Food: tastiest chicken Empanada I've had in awhile that isn't from the Criollos chain. It was juicy without being wet and flavorful. Wepa!!!!Drinks: my buddy got the Tres Leche and I had fomo because that thing was GOOOD. Drank half of hers lol. I got an iced Coquito latte because I'm a sweaty human even in winter and it helped regulate my temp but the taste was just OK. Her drink was hot and I was happy to sweat for it.Note: the iced drinks come in those clear bags with a straw like when Covid started allowing people to drink out of plastic bags from bars. We went to pick her kid up from tennis and I looked like an unhinged day drinker trying to relive spring break.Misc: Stopped by with a buddy to wait for tennis to let out over on 1st ave. Got a chicken Empanada, a Tres leche coffee and a coquito *flavored* latte. ( they have actual spirit infused stuff but i didn't get that).“
“Swung by mid afternoon on 3/18 for a quick pick me up while biking to work. The barista was an absolute sweetie and made my iced latte to perfection! Those rum infused beans really are something, especially in the Coquito (personal favorite)Plus, this space is big enough to work in which is great in itself. Definitely will be stopping by again soon!“
“When I travel, I try to find local places to eat. Basically, if it's a chain I can go to in my suburban Southern California town, I stay away. Seeing that the line was nearly out the door, I tried Broad Nosh Bagels. And I came back every morning of my trip. And I bought 4 bagels and a loaf of chocolate babka to bring home. First morning home, I've made French toast with the babka, and I never want to make it any other way with any other bread. I don't claim to be a bagel snob, but I know what is good, and these are DELICIOUS. Met the owner one morning, and he was so friendly and welcoming. I cannot wait to come back to my favorite city and have more of these bagels.“
“First time I went to Fasano and I’m obsessed. The Bluefin tuna was simply exquisite!! Mind blowing! Its delicate flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture made it a true culinary delight! Needless to say, I'm already planning my next visit just to get that incredible dish again. ><>•••“
“It's my first time in New York, I wanted to try a good coffee. I was greatly surprised by the waiter Carlos, he is very kind and gentle, he made me feel welcome, he was very attentive, I recommend the place for Carlos' attention to me and for his coffee, people like him make you want to come back. Thank you very much Carlos for giving me this great experience!!!“
“Higly recommend for hong kong cuisine in midtown. I had the duck noodle soup. Soup base and noodles were good. The duck was okay so I probably try some other protein instead next time. They have hk style milk tea which really made me happy. The portuguese tart flaky pastry crust and the filling was really good.“
“Mussette in Harlem is a wine bar that truly understands the art of hospitality. From the moment I stepped in, the customer service was stellar—attentive without being overbearing. The Women’s History wine flight they offer is not just unique but also a testament to their commitment to inclusivity and celebration of diversity in the wine world. And let's talk about their charcuterie boards—absolutely sublime! The selection of cheeses, dried fruit and nuts paired perfectly with the wines we chose. But what truly sets Mussette apart is the warmth and genuine passion of the staff. They made our evening unforgettable, offering insights and recommendations that enhanced our experience. If you're in Harlem and looking for a cozy spot with exceptional wine and hospitality, Mussette is the place to be.“
“Such lovely Aussie staff!! Felt like home. Came here for the highly sought after hot cross buns and was not disappointed - they were the real deal as was the coffee! Very big space and we got some takeaway food. The chorizo burrito was insanely good. Cannot wait to dine in here soon! So yum“
“I have recommend Crumbly to patients when they ask where to go after their appointment. Everything I have tried, I have loved so far. They are my go to place before I go into work.It makes it even better that they are so nice. I can keep going, everything just taste so good.I got a Fudge Brownie this morning ?“

“I bought a sandwich and some canele in ubereats. They gave me a written note for the missing canele(since they ran out of it), tell me to refund, and even added other pastries in bag for compensation…never seen a better service in my whole life, most importantly everything tasted AMAZING!!They had just earn themselves a new costumer, this made my day, thank you so much.“
“The food was beautifully presented & fresh, service excellent but ambiance (?). The place is very popular and noisy, so plan to go when it's NOT breakfast - brunch time it you want more than a light conversation with short sentences.“
“Creativity, warmth, and culture vibrates through the 787 café. As a Puerto Rican, I feel right at home in this space. The baristas were kind, attentive and welcoming. They also shared the origins of the coffee, which provided a nice touch to the experience. A special shout-out to Lesly who served me and was a pleasure to talk to. Highly recommend the horchata late.“
“Great little coffee shop. Delicious macchiato. Staff was friendly, and informative. They make all their syrups in house. Not a lot of seating. Music was great and not too loud. They have some delicious pastries. Coffee presentation was average, but the flavor was perfect.“
“If you’re looking for coffee in this part of town, look no further! The two lovely ladies working the counter were warm, friendly & attentive. The horchata latte (oat milk) was AMAZING and the outdoor patio had a little heater so I could hang out for a while. Very glad I stumbled upon this place! They have two chair swings inside which is super cute & quirky and some small food options as well.“
“Not much atmosphere to speak of due to lack of seating in a busy area of town but great donuts with a touch of nostalgia. Great variety of donuts and quite tasty but you will definitely pay for the quality. Worth a visit once in a while for that old school donut store vibe and interesting donuts. Crullers are light and especially tasty.“
“Everything about Lysée feels crafted thoughtfully and delicately -- from the space itself, to its tableware and desserts -- the visuals were just stunning on another level. We came with reservation and were seated in a private little alcove which felt so cute and special, and the service was excellent. I loved the unique combinations of flavors inspired from Korean cuisine. Among what we ordered, I most enjoyed the apple yuja tart and the sweet potato latte, but everything was delicious and beautifully presented! Can't wait to come back and try their other desserts. Recommend coming with others so you can share and try various menu items!“
“Their baristas were so sweet and honestly had great vibes. The Major was really good, though it was sweeter than I'd normally prefer. Ample lighting and seating when I went and a huge plus was being able to charge up my phone (ample outlets).“
“This is probably the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in NYC (get the Pho or any Bánh Mi!). Authentic and super fresh ingredients, paired with an energetic atmosphere, almost made me feel like I was in Saigon! Extremely kind and generous staff to top it off as one of the most pleasant NY restaurant experiences.“
“I love this cafe so much. I almost want to gatekeep it. It’s my favorite to go to and go bring others. Coffee is delicious and their desserts and croissant sandwiches are super tasty. Honestly everything I’ve tried here tasted great. The service is also really nice, the team is always friendly. Great place for customers to also get some work done if you need WiFi. 10/10 my favorite local coffee shop by far. I love sitting in the small outside area on a sunny day.“
“Energetic cute little coffee shop with boozy coffee options, which I couldn’t try but heard are popular. The barista is very friendly and informative. The place is clean and decorated. I only wish the music was a little less loud but otherwise a great experience.“
“We got a fresh batch of spongecake. It was delicious. Not too sweet and not too stale. Nothing better than fresh spongecakes. Also it's only 1$ for 1 original spongecake. Try to go here before 2, because that is when they make the cakes fresh. The service was also very good.“
“After seeing this spot go viral I decided to make my way & I have zero regrets + will certainly be coming back. I got the chocolate affogato with graham cracker brittle & fudge. It came with real whipped cream— honestly just wow. Run don’t walk!“
“Seems almost factory/cafeteria like. You have to order before you get in and then the mission to find seats for your party begins. Buzzer is given to you for when your order is ready.Basque cheesecake was on point. Beignets were average and didn't really taste like matcha.“
“Wow, GREAT place to go if you like Coffee/Tea & donuts, but SO MUCH MORE that's great for spring & summer incl fantastic soft serve ice cream: They've got their own unique TOP Quality donuts that were somewhere between a beignet and a zeppole (I'm told that it's a Mochi donut) and the mouth-feel is like they are a fried donut with a lovely texture and fantastic chew! They have both a regular shaped donut and a kind of Flower shape that breaks into individual balled pieces of donut, so THAT worked well sitting on top of a soft serve ice cream cup and them injecting whichever flavor of soft serve you choose through the center and into the cup - Great combo that's very easily broken off into pieces to have bites with the soft serve which today was either Milk Cream or Thai Tea today along with the flavor varities of donuts - Glazed Donut – Classic, Coffee Toffee, Poppy Grapefruit, Toasted Coconut Bear Donut (Regular) – Chocolate, Cheddar, Lavender, Sugar Cream Puff Donut – Dirty Choco, Double Milk Tea, Matcha Custard, Strawberry I didn't see the limited edition peanut butter and jelly but I can tell you I was definitely satisfied!“
“Yes it was open and yes it was good but $6 is too much for a small cappuccino. $5 maximum. Kind of a confusing dark space. Not a great hang. Nice competent barista. I hope 787 is paying a living wage because you can’t really tip at these prices…. Go here if you’re desperate, the hours are excellent but otherwise seek something more light and affordable.“
“Ordered a dirty chai latte which was superb! Glad to hear they make their own chai concentrate instead of relying on pre-made powder/concentrates which meant this wasn't overly sweet. Friendly staff and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Sad that my drink didn't have any latte art but just another reason to come back and try the other specialty drinks (I heard the marshmallow capp is one of the most popular drinks!!) :)“
“Wonderful place! The coffee was perfect and the empanadas were so tasty. A must stop for me for NY mornings.Special shout out for the guy who helped. He was very knowledgeable about their coffee and was helpful exploring the different drink options.“
“Amazing Fresh Onigari (rice balls) & delicious teas! (Cold, Hot, Bubble, No-Bubble) Support a local Mom & Pop shop & get fresh tasty food & drinks — win win win!!! (The line outside moves, one customer/group inside at a time due to COVID, & everything is made fresh to order — your patience will be rewarded!)“
“Lovely, compact Scandi bakery with a small market in the back with selection of Haribo licorice and more.We ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich, cardamom bun, and salmon focaccia. When I come back, I’m definitely going to order the breakfast sandwich with a perfect brioche bun and thick multi-herb green aioli/sauce as the bottom layer! This was the most memorable of the items. Salmon was generously applied to the focaccia along with thick chive cream cheese, but the flavor combination wasn’t quite as unique in the lox bagel capital of the world. The cardamom bun could benefit from, well, more cardamom. And I fully admit that I’m not being quite fair on this front after having tasted the cardamom buns at Juno Bakery in Copenhagen, which are laced with so much freshly ground cardamom throughout that the scent fills the surrounding neighborhood. If you’ve tasted these buns, Smor’s will underwhelm you, but they are definitely one of the best in NYC.“
“We found you on our trip to Brooklyn in March and we are still dreaming about the amazing turmeric oatmeal breakfast - so great that we walked over the Brooklyn Bridge the following day for another portion! Great service, great staff, we will be back and we will be telling all our friends to come too!“
“AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! The food was absolutely amazing. The flavors, customer service, presentation and overall feel of this place left such a great impact on my friends and I. I literally tried it on Wednesday, and came back with a friend the very next day. My order: Afro Burrito with Chicken; Peanut Stew served over jasmine rice and hot sauce“
“I tried the Wintermelon Milk w/ Boba and the Peach Yakult w/ Lychee Jelly (as provided on the Staff Reccs Menu) and they were both amazing— Personally like the Wintermelon one more because I wanted something with milk but both were great. The staff were exceptional and overheard that my girlfiend and I had never really tried Wintermelon before, and they jumped to give us a sample of the tea. First off, amazing to see that there were no added sugars and that all the components of their drinks were individually perfected. We ended up ordering and got our drinks pretty quickly, but while we waited one of the staff members offered us a sample of their pudding topping. It was great to try and extremely kind of the staff to offer, especially because there was no incentive for them to do so as we had already ordered. You can tell that the staff really care about making a great business. They haven’t been open for too long, and I hope they receive lots of support so I can go back and try more of the drinks they have to offer. In terms of seating, they don’t offer any, but you can easily walk around the area and find some or walk while drinking. You can also get a stamp card to get a discount on your tenth return!TLDR: Amazing drinks, not too sweet, very refreshing. A great pick me up. Relatively not the cheapest but it’s some of the best you’re getting, especially in Manhattan. Definitely something to try. Staff are amazing and will let you try samples.Kid-friendliness: Amazing Environment“
“I don’t usually post reviews, but I stopped by this place on my way to getting a train from Penn station and it was amazing!! The customer service is as impeccable and the owner could not do enough - he even kindly gave a little school kid a free cookie before heading to class. Small acts of kindness go a long way - I will most definitely come back here it was delicious“
“Very warm and cosy ambience & fantastic service. The bread was insanely delicious (it won best baguette in nyc competition) and breakfast experience was phenomenal. Be mindful — you have to order first and then find available table; there’s also outdoor seating. Otherwise cannot recommend this place enough :)“
“My two nieces and I popped in this morning on our way to the Natural History Museum. I’ll admit I was hesitant but thankfully I listened to my nieces! I had the avocado and eggs in a crepe, which was the best gluten-free sandwich I have ever had. Did not miss the bread at all. My 14 year old chose the Nutella crepe with banana and the 9 ounce Açaí bowl. Oldest selected one of the big bowls … it was a work of art. Highly recommend and we will be back on our next trip. All the best on your growth plans!“
“I came here for brunch last Saturday and despite it being busy and not having a reservation (for a party of 2), we were welcomed and given a table fairly quickly. The staff was very friendly and patient. The food was delicious and the matcha latte was very good. I highly recommend the avocado toast and the French toast. I look forward to visiting again during another visit to NYC.“
“This cafe is a lovely escape from the mean streets of the city. Wonderful desserts and beverages. However, it can be very crowded. That isn't a bad thing, you just need to be prepared for the crowds at certain times. We love going here and having tea and hot chocolate.“
“woke up with a craving for the perfect blueberry muffin and Rex delivered. super soft, fruit forward muffin with a perfectly crusted top, sprinkled with sugar. so so good. they also make a proper cappuccino and have great ambiance with pleasant music, nyt copies, and books to peruse. I will definitely be coming back for a lil Saturday morning outing one of these days.“
“Went here last January on a friend's recommendation, mostly just for the sake of trying. Asked the server which cookie was the best-seller, and they recommended the Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie. It was huge! I was initially planning on eating only half of it take the rest home, but it was soon good that I finished it all without leaving the store! Would highly recommend!“
“Honestly such a great experience. Mickey at the counter was such a nice and good hearted person, made us delicious a delicious omelet, and gave us the story on how business came to be. We will be back! Cheers to many years of success both past and future.“
“This is a tiny little totally unassuming deli located off the beaten path on W 107th & Manhattan Ave that for some reason makes unanticipatedly excellent croissants.I grew up in Paris where you can find an excellent croissant for 0.90€ on every street corner. So when they try to sell me croissant for $5/ $6/ $7 here in New York, well, I tell them that’s an absurd price and I turn around and I walk out.Hakan sells these excellently executed croissants for $2.50/ each. Everything was as it properly should be: not dry or bread-like as is often the case here in the US; nice and properly buttery as it’s supposed to be; flaky on outside and doughy on inside as it’s supposed to be. An excellent croissant. Excited to try the other pastries! Hakan and his employee were great - super friendly and affable and offered me great service ?“
“787 is a Puerto Rican cafe with multiple locations around the city. I've been to a couple now, and I love this place! This location in Soho is quite small - there's only one bench with a couple of small tables. They have so many unique drinks here, and they have different alcohol-infused coffee beans too. If you like their beans, they do sell bags of them, but just a warning that they are quite expensive. My boyfriend got the coquito latte, and I got the chocolate chip cookie. The latte was really good! It was sweet, but not too sweet, and the coffee flavor wasn't overpowering even though it comes with a double shot. I didn't know that it would come in a cute pouch, so that was a nice surprise! It seems like the iced drinks come in the pouch, and the hot drinks come in normal cups. I didn't have high expectations for the cookie, but this has actually become one of my favorite chocolate chip cookies in the city. It's a very thick cookie, and it has huge chunks of chocolate in it, which I love. We did have to wait a while for the coffee since there was a line, and there was only one person working there. But I appreciate how this place stands out from all the other coffee shops in the city, and it is now one of my go-to cafes!“
“cozy little creperie! you might miss it if you're not looking. The lady making my crepes was so sweet and kind. The crepe was delicious - i had the mushroom crepe and a mascarpone jam crepe. They were both amazing! Love this little neighborhood gem.“
“The food was rich in flavor and expertly prepared, making each bite a pleasure. What truly elevated the experience was the impeccable service provided by Carlos, our attentive waiter. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our meal was perfect.“
“Great service and good food. Initially I was told I could only order food to go because someone was having a private party and they were prepping but then the man behind the counter walked me through the menu. He then suggested I have a seat and could eat in if I wanted. I chose to dine in and the food was fabulous. I got the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. They did not have the cheddar jalapeño biscuit I asked for but they added extra cheese to my sandwich to compensate. The biscuit was crunchy in the outside and soft on the inside. I'll definitely be coming back to try the chicken biscuit and all the different compound butters.“
“Visited here on a Friday night around 7 and luckily it wasn't super crazy. We managed to get a table for 5! We ordered 2 pots of Yemeni tea, one with milk, one without, and one pot of peppermint tea. The staff were so lovely - they allowed us to try the Yemeni tea before ordering to ensure we would be happy with our order! In addition, we ordered some of their specialities, the sabaya, khaliat alnahl, the pistachio tart, the talia (a pistachio cheesecake type of bite) and the basboussa. Everything was perfectly sweet without going overboard and the tea brought me back to Turkey!! So glad we got here before the iftar mad rush at 8 pm! I will definitely be back!“
“4.4 stars. Reasonably priced boxed take to take home stuffed buns. The bun is very light and fluffy. The red roast pork filling was a good amount and the taste was pretty good. We liked the smaller, slightly sweet, baked, 8-to-a-box, red roast pork buns better because of the higher meat to bun ratio. I tried the salted egg custard bun for the first time and it was pretty good. Comparable to Go Believe Bakery on Grand, which always has a consistent amount of meat but less airy bun.“
“We loved everything! And I wouldn’t say it if it wasn’t true. Vanilla egg cream, classic board, toasted bagels, breakfast martini, halva ice cream, latkes, some other kind of fish board ( ?can’t remember, but it was good)The servers and host were all very hospitable and quick, but we did not feel rushed from our table at all.“
