This is our favorite neighborhood Indian restaurant and it never disappoints. I really enjoy the takeout & eating in when I can. The staff are so pleasant & helpful. The food is what shines - so flavorful & delicious.I'm giving the atmosphere 4 stars because it's nothing to write home about but it's cozy, simple & the staff make it feel warm. Highly recommend you stop in if you live in the area or are visiting - you won't be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: They're knowledgeable & were able to accommodate my gluten (wheat) & dairy (milk) allergy.

Ordered from DoorDash. Chicken Biryani was not good. It was lacking salt and much flavor other than "spicy". The chicken pieces were also pretty fatty which I usally don't experience from local places around the UWS. The Lasuni Gobi was very vinegary and heavily breaded. It meantioned being sautéed but not deep fried. The Chicken Samosas were decent but just very dry. I do appreciate that they have a meat samosa version on the menu. More sauce should be included for 2 samosas instead of just a tiny little mint chutney and tamarind sauce. Very disappointed by my experience, especially since I paid a good amount for this food.

Lovely restaurant and staff!- ✨Lamb Chettinad: it was recommended by the server, and I’m glad I tried it out! A little spicy, and the black pepper adds a bit of a kick.- Lamb Korma: The sauce is super creamy and smooth. Milder than the Chettinad!- The curry comes with rice decorated with herbs on top ?- Chatpata Poori: very sweet, but tbf, I’m not the biggest fan of these in general — probably would order pakoras or lasuni gobi instead next time.

If you love authentic Indian cuisine this is your spot!
The food is pretty good but, the service is impeccable. The waitress was amazing. She is attentive, aware, and polite. The restaurant, is warm and homely. It is spacious, yet intimate. I can't sing the praises of this establishment any more. I highly recommend this establishment.

This was our first day in NYC, and after flight and too much of public transportation which New York is famous for (yes we are lazy here in LA driving cars all the time), we decided to search for an Indian food place. As huge fans of Indian food, that would have been very interesting to compare. What can I say - after Indian Summer, it feels like all the Indian food that we ate before, on the West Coast, is a knock off!Mohammad and his team were accommodating, super friendly and polite, the portions size is just right, and the taste - it's not just tasty food. It's magically delicious food. MAGICALLY! The duck breast was cooked to perfection - crispy, but juicy. While there are lots of places that offer baked duck, very few of them do it right, and this is the best for sure. Try it yourself nd thank me later. Lamb tikka masala, naan, and the special Indian tea with milk - all is great! We will definitely come again when back to NYC in summer!
