While picking up some furniture for our new home, we were in Tribeca on empty stomachs. We walked around the streets of Manhattan and found this quaint little Italian restaurant. We took a look at the menu and asked the waiter, "How long is the wait for a table for 2?" He had replied, "no wait, come right on in." What a good decision that turned out to be. This place is the best kept secret in New York. With so many great Italian restaurants in NYC, this place really stands out. Their pastas with red sauce are delicious, specifically the Rigatoni alla Siciliana, which is one of my favorite pasta dishes in all of NYC. The rigatoni is cooked perfectly, the eggplant is fresh and the homemade red sauce is stellar. Great food and service every time. Cute Italian spot in tribeca - perfect for a date, meeting friends. Never super loud inside and the wait staff is so attentive! The food is wonderful - highly recommend the pastas!
