Reached at 12:10 pm on Saturday and had to stand and wait in line for 2 hours. Dosa is ordinary per Indian standards, Sambhar was watery and bland, Coconut chutney was so-so. Samosas were big in size but seemingly filled with same Dosa potatoes. Not worth 2 hours of wait. Felt more hyped online.

The Dosa Man was extremely nice and he made the atmosphere very family friendly. The service was great and the food was just outstanding and there’s just so many different choices to choose from, but no matter what you get, the foods gonna taste delicious. He gave us the meal for free since we stood in line for 45 minutes before he closed. I would highly recommend you try this‼️

Please call before going. We went today and sadly he was closed as he had to deal with some paper work. Wish my wife and me could have tired his food.

Flavor and texture of the crepe was top notch, but filling could be a bit more seasoned. Chutney was also slightly under seasoned.

I had dosa along with my best friends, so there is much queue for this, dosa is nice but chutney and sambar are bland!

I grew up eating plenty of crispy dosas and this did not meet my bar for a good dosa. The masala dosa was overloaded with too much potato which was not seasoned perfectly. The sambar was literally like water with no lentil in sight. The coconut chutney was alright. Overall underwhelming experience.

I just loved it. Been wanting to try the dosas from here for years and it did not disappoint. The portions were huge and the service was so great. I think it’s one of the best samosas I’ve had also, really delicious and made with love.

Heard a lot about this cart, so my friend and I went here to try it out. Line was very long. It took us about 45 minutes to get to the front which I was fine with given the food cart’s popularity. When we were third in line, the owner started asking what we wanted to order. We assumed he was talking to the people in front of us until he got irritated and said “Hey! I’m talking to you” or something to that effect. He also had a lazy eye which made it hard to tell he was making eye contact with us.When I got to the front, I asked him how much it was, and he told me to venmo him $14. I later saw what I ordered was $10 so that and a bottled water which was $1 should’ve totaled up to $11.The food itself was pretty good, but I got less than good vibes from that guy, so I doubt I’ll be back.

Well well, this was on my bucket list. It is located conspicuously at the Washington Park. If you take a walk around you will spot their truck. The wait time was average 2 hours. Dosa tastes aa dosa but the experience is worth standing in the line.It is closed on Sundays and other days open between 11am to 3pm.

While strolling through Washingston Park we came across a line up and noticed it was for NY Dosa. We had heard about the great dosa so decided the join the line. It took us a while to get our dosa and a Samosa but both were great! Time actually flow by as we chatted to others in the line up. Must say the wait was worth it. Keep up the good work Thiru.

Lived here for 10+ years and finally made it to the NY Dosa guy. I got the masala, idli(last two), samosa. I don't think it's possible to get a more uniquely NY experience. While NY is truly a melting pot, NY carts are typically known for chicken and rice, hot dogs... and the Dosa guy! I don't think you will regret the visit. Food was great, generous portions of the sambar, coconut chutney, excellent conversation! Somehow not impacted by inflation - all three things were for $19!!!

It's a shame, as of today, 01/23/2024, there was no Dosa Man on site. I have no idea if it won't be available in January. The area with the adjacent Washington Park is also peppered with strange characters (bums). Not recommendable
